Promoting Ryushare is acceptable. Ryushare sponsoring Akiba is acceptable. Forcing members to buy a Ryushare account so they can mirror on other file hosts is not acceptable. And I say that as being a (formerly up to the crash) Ryushare Premium account holder.

If Joe Blow has accounts with Bitshare and Uploaded and Freakshare, the only way he could post mirrors to a title already posted on Ryushare was to himself post ANOTHER mirror on Ryushare? I didn't understand that rule. I didn't agree with that rule. But, since it wasn't effecting me I didn't care about that rule. I've just always thought it was unnecessary and unfair to other posters. To me it was just another way of Master Ryushare to dictate to Akiba members that you WILL become premium members if you want to participate in this forum.

If they come back then so will I, I'd be right back in the Premium account line. In the event Ryushare doesn't come back that would suck because I like their speed and there was plenty of content, mainstream content included. But I would hope if Akiba partners with another file host there won't be any silly rules like that one.

That's not sponsorship. That's fear.

I hope against all hope that u really dont think members were posting their own ryushare links when posting a new post with mirrors. I hope against all hope that u know all member would do is just copy the ryushare link from first post and use it in theirs and not forced to buy a ryushare account just so they can post their mirrors.

What Shinigamie says is true, so many people reuse the same links all over again. Take that MATU jav you kindly shared with me some time ago Chassern2, pretty much all links i've seen aside yours, were all leading to the same wrong video that has been uploaded since the beginning. That's a clear proff that many (if not most) users won't even care about fairness as long as they can copy paste the links of the others. Hell they won't even care if they are uploading the right video or the wrong one.

I know that's unfair but having inspiring people like you Chassern2 is encouraging for other users and uploaders who'll hopefully change their behavior, dignity is a great gift.

Anyway speaking of Ryushare, after all the trouble i've seen around the web, i'm really surprised that everything is "apparently" going back to normal. I can only hope that every jav blog that has been closed for this issue will come back online, hopefully with all the ryushare stuff.

I think it was you that said that 10 of the 12 blogs you frequent were shut down when Ryushare died. If it occurs that Ryushare revives, would you mind linking the less traveled users like myself to that list of JAV blogs? Even via PM would help greatly. Thanks.

I hope against hope that you actually checked those links, because I did and would hope that mods who were policing the policy did as well because the ones that I would spot check now and then just for giggles were in fact different links.

if all these fake links were true, and nobody reported it, then you have yourselves to blame

nobody forced anybody to buy Ryu Share premium, everything is optional, but the one thing it certainly proved, Ryu Share made it easy for the time they was with us, because you knew every post had a link to them, and you only needed one premium account, after the 18 months + sponsorship it seemed to work, now it becomes apparent that possibly 2 main sponsors is required for events like this, in the past we had many, and it still went wrong, and all went down at the same time as Megaupload, so make of it what you will, and it was Ryu Share that stepped in and saved us from closing, so go easy on them, and hope they come back

All new download posts in the DDL subforums in akiba-online MUST contain a ryushare link. This includes all new threads and all replies containing download links. If you want to post links for another site, you must post a ryushare link in the same post. Any download posts without a ryushare link will be deleted.

coolkevin, with all respect, I interpreted the standing rule (which is only my interpretation I admit) to mean that if someone wanted to post Bitshare links they had to post Ryushare links as well otherwise the post would be deleted. If "force" isn't the correct word what would be a more fitting one? And again, I love Ryushare to death and have acquired much great content from them and I want them back in a bad way. It was always my understanding that only Premium account holders had the ability to upload files. Is that true? Again, I will admit I never tried as a free user because I already had a Premium account. Forgive me if my assumptions were incorrect.

And with the original rule we were assured there would be a Ryushare link on the very first post of a title which already guaranteed the need for only one premium account.

I do understand/assume that by their sponsorship they probably assisted with operating costs? Nothing wrong with that (aside from dictating policy if that went on) At any rate, I do hope they come back so I can take advantage of everything the Machine has to offer. And of course Akiba-Online is the best thing on the planet right behind air, water, and pizza.

Angeldom, thanks for the words and I wasn't aware of those bogus links. Not cool. So, I'll assume that whatever links I spot checked happened to be for a bogus file. Shows what I know since I didn't actually download the whole thing, just checked if the links were valid WHICH THEY WERE...but obviously they were trash.

Hmmmm...as much as it kills me to say this (not really, I'm a nice enough guy)...

:cloud::sigh::...::eek:rz::tears:

shinigamie, I was wrong, you were right.

of course... if people dont follow this rule it would become pretty expensive for the users, with this RULE AO members had a guarantee they could download EVERY file on AO with just one filehost! Its for the users and supported AO at the same time, so stop complaining. I hope with the next sponsored Filehost it will be the same, right now im back to 5 Premium memberships again, that sucks...

Unfortunately my Vietnamese is just about as good as my Swahili

Is this clip somewhere to be found with English subtitles? Or could any of our Vietnamese users translate it and post a short report so we all know what it is about?

I'm Vietnamese and according to the article, the owners of Ryushare had definitely been arrested !!!
As you all know, JAV or any kind of porn is illegal in VN and these guys has been charged with making money by spreading this type of content.

don't know anything about the maintenance message on Ryushare a few days ago but right now the website is unreachable.

The chance is Ryushare highly down forever. :cry5:

Time to move on

Give or take porn is illegal in vietnam, but the ryushare service isnt exclusive to porn. So it makes no sense to go at it. :cry5:

according to the article, they have some kind of evidences that the owners upload and encourage premium member to upload and share porn. they also made money from that.

I think that's the main reason they're arrested :red:

haizz, my premium acc and the main host for download the last 1.5 year ... gone :wryyy:
