I've been disappointed by Ishikei's Comiket work ever since I started looking forward to it 2 or so years ago. :\ His work is -- was -- much better in serial magazines. The stand-alone picture crowd has remained loyal to him, I've noticed, but small surprise: stand-alone pictures are about all his Comiket "doujins" are good for these days anyway. -.- Sorry for being such a downer. I agree that Ishikei's artwork is nice. It's just ... bah. The < 20 pages that is "BetsuJIN" speaks for itself, I think. And that's how most of his Comiket releases are.

As for this year's Comiket, I'm still trying to get through them. I'm multi-tasking between:
- C75 doujins
- misc doujins from between C74 and C75 that I have been getting around to slowly-but-surely
- misc tankoubons from between C74 and C75, ditto
- the occasional H-anime or (GASP!) porn video (I downloaded this 3 hour 45 minute one that has been fucking awesome, which is an all-time first for me and porn, but then again I'm only 50 minutes into it so who knows how long the love affair will last *roll of the eyes*)

From what I've read so far, I'd recommend the following as gold:

................... well, that was embarassing. I thought I was going to be able to give you 2 or 3 at least, but it looks like everything I've read so far from C75 has fallen under my following ratings:
- silver (1)
- bronze-greatart (half)
- bronze-neutral (about half)
- bronze-packrat (the rest)

The one silver medalist was Hellabunna's Rei 06. Great story, would have been epic had it been the original Rei 02, but sadly we can't rewrite history and so we have to deal with the fact that Rei 02 and Rei 03 were disappointing filler, Rei 04 was disappointing but less so than 02 or 03, and Rei 05 was very good but was a side-story. As for the erotic factor, I'm sad to say that Hellabunna's just not doing it much for me anymore these days ;_; , but I think it's because of how much I enjoyed the man's work over the years and so my brain's burned out for now. Or so I can only hope: 'cause I'd be sad if I never liked his work ever again. :\

I, in your body, am going to try to figure out how to get us switched back" -- but his real intentions lie elsewhere.

Though I am impure, I would still consider myself something of a Madarame (Genshiken reference) when it comes to pornography. I can almost claim to have no porn on my computer, whereas I have over 150 GB of hentai doujinshi and magazines alone with additional ~100 or so gigs in the form of anime, pictures, games, etc. In other words, even though that video of Hamasaki Rio is like 1 GB in size, it's still less than 1/200th of my "porn & hentai" collection, whereas like 199/200ths is hentai.

Anyway ... it was better than Code Erosu, let's put it that way. XD (Code Erosu was downloaded, laughed at, and promptly deleted. What a waste of space. )

Anime I have like 200+GB, Hentai anime and picture around 60GB, and as for h-manga + doujin around 10GB only. The only h-magazine I have is Hot Milk volume 1-10 (edited and deleted a lot of content in those magazines though)

I'm the same with porn, I have like 4gb worth only. Download a video and delete it after like 10min. It's a waste of time and resources but once in while I'll find a JAV that's worth keeping (hence, the the 4gb, lol). I think I'm just going to stop downloading porn completely, just way too many dreadful and annoying thing about it.

About porn complaints:
One of the things that I hate about porn (and am rediscovering now) is how untrustworthy the porn community is. Many people who supply hentai to the Western world are very knowledgeable about computers. They know how to use Share or PD; they know how to use RAIDs; they know about proxies; all that kind of stuff. It would be easy for them to abuse their knowledge of computers and to distribute malicious code in their torrents. But for whatever reason (THANK GOD), most people who provide hentai to us -- like sukebe or robotx -- do not insert malicious code into their torrents. They don't even insert advertisements! All they provide us with is the original manga or doujin or anime video file in its original pristine form. Perfect.

But porn? It seems like when it comes to porn, it's very difficult to find websites which are safe to navigate. And when you find torrents, it seems like the majority of them have embedded paysite text files both external to and sometimes internal to the video you're trying to download. Very nasty. Very uncool.

Another problem with porn is how goddamn 派手　(hade, exuberant, showy) the women are! It's obvious that over half of their moans and shrieks are just for show. It's obvious that the men aren't doing a sufficiently good job to please them. I mean, fuck, in the video I just enjoyed, the men came so goddamned much during rehearsals and retakes (I'm betting) that the final footage which made it into the video shows them 50% of the time ejaculating less than a thimble and 50% of the time ejaculating NOTHING AT ALL (and then trying to hide the fact by putting their penis inside her mouth or vagina so the camera can't see; but it was made obvious by the fact that he PULLED OUT OF HER VAGINA IN THE FIRST PLACE b/c he originally intended to cum all over her face!!). About hentai collections:
I edit down most of my magazines, actually. But you are still correct that a good 50%+ of my "manga and doujins and magazines" total file size is courtesy of magazine retentions. I've managed to collect a hell of a lot of magazines, including the "full" collection for a lot of the famous ones like Megastore, Megastore H, Kairakuten, Kairakuten Beast, Unreal, Slave Heroines (and its 37-volume predecessor, Tokiryoujoku), etc. But most of the issues I get, I delete between 10 and 30% of their contents. Sometimes I delete nothing or almost nothing. Other times I may delete almost everything except for one or two stories. It depends on the issue. So my "collection" is pretty worthless to other people, I suppose. lol

Now doujins and manga, that's different, as I never edit anything out of a doujin or manga that I have -- either I have it or I don't have it -- and there, too, I've got a good 100+ GB or so. So one of these days I should get around to sharing some. We'll see. -_-; (I feel like everybody already has all the stuff that I have since I get it all second-hand from providers like sukebe or robotx, so I don't feel like there's much point in me offering to share what I have. Not on a community like ours, anyway. Maybe if somebody was a complete hentai newb I would offer.)

Hint to the companies: you want fans to buy your stuff?
1) Make it really damn good, and

Because if you want penny-pinching fans to buy your stuff, making a poor anime adaptation of an excellent eroge they already purchased for PC is a bad business decision. Your anime, by common fucking sense, would have to be at least as good as the eroge if not better in order to get the fan who already owns the eroge to essentially re-purchase the story in anime form.

any doujinshi h-anime I´ve seen has a better animation quality than what it to be seen in that preview... - the cover is a promise which not can be kept...

I thought animations like Yaruki Manman or Lunatic Night were badly drawn, but they are about 20 years in the past now, so it was at the start of the evolution, this looks more like a paint box for beginners who never noticed the existance of computers...

nevertheless there are signs for a bad health of the h-anime industry, as they are releasing many Best ofs or Gold-Discs to earn more money with old series while decraesing the amount of new releases, but I don´t really believe it. New H-Animes still have no more than 30% of the market as most releases are DVDPG (DVD Player Games) already, which cannot be chased through the web easily. They are not made for piracy...

i believe that's KM's doing. it seems to me that they're mainly relying on the money from having their work licensed so they can afford to continue making bad releases with super low production costs. hopefully KM will soon realize that there are lots of other titles worth buying and stop licensing such bad shows.
