I've noticed that ISO rips have been gaining popularity recently because of the growing number of fans who have HDTVs and who watch hentai anime on their HDTVs because they either surf the internet with their PS3s (like the so-called "PS3" releases we've been seeing recently over on Nyaa) or else they're even more hardcore and they surf the internet coupling their HDTVs to computer towers which they then control remotely using iPhones or laptops or what have you.
The thing is, I think an ISO rip is justified for the fan of live-action stuff and who also plans to watch it on his HDTV. But if you're watching it on a computer monitor that is 24" (diagonal) or smaller or if you're watching it on a regular TV, you really don't need all this ISO nonsense. Furthermore, when it's animated, you sure as hell don't need anything bigger than 1280 horizontal resolution. That's more than enough to look pretty on most computer monitors (even if they're set at very high resolutions) not to mention on any 1080i HDTV. In other words, I wish people would focus on 300-MB x264-encoded anime and quit fussing with DVD rips. It's pointless. You can't see any difference when AN ENTIRE FIELD is defined to be one hex value. And this happens all the time in anime (especially in lower-budget hentai anime!) vs. it never happens in live-action because even the cheapest of live-action porn videos is still recording the real world with all of its insanely-detailed textures.
Long story short, I'll download a 1.00 GB J-drama file but I sure as fuck am not going to download a 1.00 GB hentai anime file. -.-

I definitely agree with you Sakun. I was browsing through the JAV section the other day and there was a 20GB video...that's just absurd for a porn video; the quality better be like god-like.

Helter Skelter: I like 2nd episode much better than the 1st. The animation and h-scenes are so much better.
Ringetsu 2: I think the 2nd episode is great. The h-scenes are longer and the arts is beautiful just like the 1st episode; the reason I didn't like the 1st episode so much it was all the h-scenes were like 10-15sec...it felt more like an hardcore ecchi rather than an h-anime.
Anata no Shirenai Kangofu: It's surprisingly decent. O: I mean nothing really stand out but it's watchable.
Haven't watch Saimin Ryoujoku 2 or Ai yet. Going to keep HS, RG2, Shion (without the gruesome tens scenes, this is a good hentai (lol)), and Kangofu; depending how the last two h-anime turn out, I'll going to add about 2 gig of h-anime to my HD thin month. XD

;screens for Mizugi Kanojo 2 and Sutoreta 1 are out!! both are a definite must look especially MK 2. The animation quality is much higher than that of ep 1. i guess that's what took them so long. its weird that there's a ninja part though. also this is gonna last 40 mins!!! its been a long time since we've gotten a single episode that lasted that long
As i thought Sutoreta is gonna look like the Acce and Stringen series. it'll probably be really noisy too.

MK animation doesn't quite suit my taste, they draw the girls with glossy looks and too voluptuous to the point they seems FAT :dunno:
However S1 would be Amazing , If they stay true to the manga I would simply give a 5 star :XD: maybe I'm a bit biased as I a fan to the series but so far no ep is a dissapointment..... and maybe just maybe tengiolt would actually like this one because in the manga the male seems gone quiet when he's in sex crazed mode with no conversation bubbles :lols:

Sad to say I wasn't able to do much with Shin Ringetsu Episode 2 either, Ben. :\ *sigh* I really enjoyed it when I woke up the next morning (yesterday morning) and picked up from where I left off, but after many minutes of (attempted) fapping, it just wasn't happening, so I put it away and watched the episode like I might an ecchi anime.
As an ecchi anime, did I enjoy it? Immensely. Very romantic plot (I guess that's a turn off for you ^^; ), very hot animation, and several of my favorite fetishes (big boobs, lactation, pregnancy) all rolled into one. Very nice, very nice.
But as something to masturbate to? Shin Ringetsu Episode 2 wasn't nearly as erotic (for whatever reason @_@) as I found Shin Ringetsu Episode 1's final scene(s) with Ayumi to be.
So yeah, I'd probably only give it an 8/10 or a 9/10 out of sheer fandom, but fandom aside I might only give it a 7/10. ;_; It was good ... even very good ... but just not BOTY material. ;______________;

I liked last year's more, but then again, it was easier on the eyes and it also poked fun at net culture overall (or IRC culture, anyway) whereas this year's is just based on a pun and all the irrational "FEAR CHIIIIIINAAAAAAA!" stories the media's been throwing at us for the last year and a half straight.
