Indeed, you are right, Ninpuu Kamui Gaiden: Tsukihigai no Maki (the proper transliteration) has actually been released on DVD. It does not seem to appear on Share, though. Utatane is the only option then. Here is the data:

By the way, I forgot to mention. The reason why this movie is somehow hard to find is because it's not precisely and original feature. It is actually an edited version of episodes 21 to 26, according to the Japanese Wikipedia. This was a common practice in the 1970s, I've found that in several Mazinger related films which were also released on DVD. I had seen the episodes and that's why I was slightly confused, as I did not remember seeing a full movie of Kamui.

I'm surprised that this OVA is neither in AniDB nor in Share, and that no rips have been found. It was available in Nico Nico Douga until very recently. And, contrary to Harenchi Koumon Manyuuki, there is plenty of information available about it. Obviously, the subtitles Kyoufu!? Gips Otoko Arawaru (恐怖!?ギプス男あらわる) and Ojou-chan wa Papa ga Iippai (お嬢ちゃんはパパがいっぱい) refer to episode 1 and 2 respectively.

What about making a separate thread with the anime entries ?

The list will be a neverending growing one, if you are slowly adding up most of the TV series/OAV/Movies that never saw a proper release on the western countries (at least english speaking ones). And their number can be counted with 3 digits at least. To give you a clue, I have a list of all anime ever released & known to me, and the total is over 4000 entries (including all the ones officially released outside Japan, having fansubs, etc). The OAV part alone is around 1000 !

Most of the recent additions have nothing to do with "hentai", it's not because you can see breasts and nudity that it's restricted-to-adult material. Even the most mainstream TV series have their random ecchi moments. I feel like this thread is completely shifting from its original goal.

Making a "rare anime hunting list" is not bad in itself, but don't mix tissues and towels as we say here :happy:.

I have some information about the new titles, I'll try to compile that after a night break ...

I can spilt the thread - one part stays where it is, the other part can be moved into anime discussion as a new thread. This was not planned the way it has become at the start.

But please: to end the mix-up I need to know exactly which nos. of the list are animes - the rest then has to be hentai animes. Where to put the ecchies?

The list nos. will stay as they are, and no no. will appear in the second list too.

As soon as I have the information about the anime ones (some are already ment. as such) I will separate both parts.

We will have to discuss this matter in two different threads then, don´t know whether this really will be an advantage though. And if someone wants to do a title check he has to visit both threads...

This is no ideal situation, I know, but there are advantages as well as disadvantages - so I more tend to let it be as it is. What do the others think about it?
