I started adding yours in a few minutes ago.
(I often take several versions and then make huge COMBOs that allow me to choose 1) pick the favorite and delete the rest 2) get a more accurate "middle ground" translation by considering all three for context or 3) Just create my own based on my kinks or thoughts at the time.
Looking at yours, right off the bat, I started to laugh because you and I dealt with her seeing the shoes in the entryway.
You went with her thinking they look like her sons.
I went with her not recognizing them and wondering who they might belong to. (Yours actually makes more sense because a burglar wouldn't be polite and take their shoes off.)
So...that's one small example of how collaborating with a fellow non-Japanese speaker who creates similar "context/fan fiction" process as me.
I'll keep focusing on it and post asap. Cheers

I've taken the story for HSODA-030 in a VERY different direction.
Instead of our hero just being on summer break....
He has graduated early! (But didn't tell anyone, as he couldn't know he'd be eligible to graduate early until he had actually passed all his extra classes.)
So....his pent up passion is a combination of 6 months jamming hard and juggling a double course load...(with no time for girls, or even to jerk off) along with extreme excitement and pride from his great accomplishment (his professors offered him a very special and unique opportunity).
He was so busy working round the clock that he didn't have time (nor, again, the certainty that he'd be able to get it all done) to look for a job.
So his STEP-DAD is impressed and supportive of his need to be home for a while as he starts his job search.
This allows for the end to be spun in a VERY different (and very Scully-esque) twist at the end.
How's that sound so far?

By any chance do you have nfo files for those too?

No, it's just the subtitles. But JavLuv will generate Kodi-compatible nfo files and download covers for any movies you might have, as long as it's listed on a site like JavLibrary, etc.

Jusging by the screenshot, I suspect the UI has gottem unresponsive but the actual transcription is continuing. My guess is that if you leave it for some time in finishes and it becomes responsive. You have chosen English with Balanced mode, that uses standard large-v2 model.

If I may ask, what movie is that, and what GPU do you have? I will need to test it on my end to dig into it.

I tried translating from the chinese srt pack posted earlier by someone on a llm. It worked great so I wanted to share with you guys. I'm a newbie on llms and translations but the llm did a great job, small nuances like commas and dashes at the right place is nice. I used Qwen3-abliterated.

No, sorry, it's designed to scan for movie files, not subtitles. Even if it were, online scanning is kind of slow due to Cloudflare protection, so it would take a crazy long time to generate nfo files for 80K subtitles.

I'm translating JUR-443. Ended up rebooting my computer and my GPU is RTX 4060 TI with 8 gig.

WhisperJav took 4hrs and 18 mins
SRT File Size = 67 KB



vs.

faster-whisper-xxl took 10 mins and 40 secs.
SRT File Size = 69 KB
This is my parameter for fast-whisper-xxl: --vad_method silero_v4 --language ja --model large-v2 --task translate --output_format srt


I diff the 2 files and it's pretty close I can see the context are almost the same. Time wise faster-whisper-xxl is way faster.

I couldn't resist subbing this recent release of a mother-son JAV. I used WhisperJAV0.7 to create this Sub and I also attempted to clean it up a bit and re-interpreted some of the meaningless/ "lewd-less" dialog. Again, I don't understand Japanese so my re-interpretations might not be totally accurate but I try to match what is happening in the scene. Anyway, enjoy and let me know what you think.
I wish "Mom" would have had a bush and a bit of a baby bump but I had to work with what I got!

No, you'd have to do that manually and import it. To do it automatically I'd have to figure out how to scrape that site, and given that it's a pay site, there might be built in mechanisms to prevent that. Maybe worth investigating for a future feature.

AVOP-381 - Summer Secret. Live Action Edition. (2017) [Muku]


This is my, almost perfect, .srt of AVOP-181 Summer Secret. Love Action Edition. It was done in an interesting way, because AVOP-181 is a word for word live adaption of the game by Otemotoya. So what I did was screen capture every screen in the game for the English translation text, and then used Photos app in Win 11 to "scan text" and copy and use that in Subtitle Edit.

A couple of lines I had to split across dialogues to match the flow, not sure if I missed a couple of screenshots, or extra dialogues lines were added to AVOP-181, but on the whole this is a 99.8% perfect subtitle. Enjoy!

Hello folks. I recently saw a post that alluded to my "clean_subs.py" file that is a post-processing script for my Whisper process. I assume it was mine since i arbitrarily chose that name. About Month or more ago I posted my Whisper configuration files but I have tinkered with them quite a bit to try to squeeze out the most accurate translation, including whispers and also advising Whisper that it is translating JAV adult content. As a result I have revised and revised and revised (You guys that are working with Whisper know what I mean) In any case I thought that anyone that is doing translations like these may benefit from some of my args (arguments-instructions) Please bear in mind that my stats may preclude some of the settings so my stats are: I9-14900K/Nvidia 4080 Super/96G RAM 6000mts/2TB NVMe for processing, and Windows 11 Pro. It particular the 4080 Super has 16G V-RAM so someone with 8Gig may need to tweak my settings a bit. One other little detail to pay attention to is that I am using Large-V3 and Faster-Whisper. That said, the following configs may contain some useful settings so here is what I use.

I upzipped it, how do I used your clean_subs.py and transcribe.py. Currently I'm using Faster-Whisper-XXL to subtitle English to get the English srt file. I would like to know how to use your python to clean up the srt. Thanks.
