Because there are so many threads and posts on akiba-online, staff need the help of members to report posts that break any of the site's rules [See here and here]

Whenever you see a thread or post that violates a rule, use the "Report" link.
You will find the "Report" link at the bottom of every post.

By reporting threads with rulebreaking content, we can all work towards a cleaner and easier to use forum for everyone.

Thanks :top:

I have a question about this and I'm not sure if I should post it here or there.
Anyway: Can we also use the report button if someone opened in a thread in the wrong section of the forum?
I don't want to get them banned or getting any kind of penalty because something like that can happen to anyone of us. But maybe it would be easier for the mods.

For the most part, files are just moved, repeat offenders, posts, will start getting deleted, and if the user still persists, penalties get stiffer, (this is rare, and usually for the spammers)

there many that post in the wrong place, I am still getting PM's about posts that are over 5 years old

Okay, I will do that from now on. :)

I somehow think that PMing the mods about isn't the right way. I'm also not planning to report old stuff, only stuff which is posted now and in the future. :) I also have a private life and other interests which I spend some time on. ;)

Okay, today I used the report button for moving a thread the first time.
But it seems the thread wasn't moved, but got deleted.
I only noticed that because there was a similar request maybe 1 hour ago: http://www.akiba-online.com/threads/help-identifying-this-girl.1530043/
So I tried to find the other thread as I thought it could be a double post. But I couldn't find it and the member also doesn't have another thread like this.
What happened? I'm a little confused. In the report message I even linked this thread. :(

s.o. hard-deleted the thread you have reported.
don't ask me why, i don't know. i even can't access the thread and look if you have had answered already.

what i know: if you again write: don't delte and link this thread, i will delete the... it's very annoying to read this every time :/
though i have moved the requests, you have reported, as stated above.

I guess that means that reporting such threads is not an option. :(
Okay, then I will start posting again instead. Unfortunately it often leads to double and triple posts...

Ah, okay, no problem. :) I only put that into the message as I wasn't sure if all mods / admins read this thread. But I didn't have any intention to put it in every message from now one, just in the first few ones. ;)

the Girls Delta Thread has no FileJoker links that lead to content. Only the Keep2Share links are functional for downloading the content.
