Scanlover.com might have someone who has the Chinese subs.
EroJapanese could be expensive if the movie is long.
Javsub.co I think the last time I used them was more reasonable. But that was a long time ago.

Give them a shot and see what they say :)

I understand SubtitleCat has some issues, but my question is: If you buy a monthly subscription, are the, uh...Search Results better?

One of the purported features of a monthly subscription is 'More Search Results', but not sure what that entails-does it give more results, give more tools to search, and is it a Search actually works (lol), etc. ?
Is anyone/has anyone tried subscribing ?

I have not subscribe. I feel the results will be the same tbh
But I could be wrong. I think it allows you to upload more at a time???

I am not sure if this has been discussed in this thread before, but when I download machine translated subtitles I typically open the file in a subtitle editor first to find and replace "meat stick" by cock and "comfortable" by "excited". Is there anybody with knowledge on Japanese that can explain how "comfortable" ends up as the translation for some word that is uttered all the time by the actors as they are going at it? I think excited is probably also not the best translation, but I think it covers the spirit of what is said best. Perhaps "aroused" or "horny" is technically the better translation, but I don't know.

Now that I am on the topic of changing words in auto-translated subtitle files. Besides "comfortable" and "meat stick" are there any other typical mis-translations that I should be aware of?

1. "comfortable" is so good/feels good. 2."rice" means I'm about to cum/I'm cumming.
3. "it doesn't work" means you can't/no/no, you can't. 4. 'in depth' means 'it's deep/it's deep inside/so deep lol
5. 'all the time' usually means continuously/already
6. 'it's too bad or it's too terrible' can mean it's too much... BUT I have seen it mean 'it's hard/too hard'; given the context of the sentence. :p

I've seen a few where "I'm cumming" was translated as "It's cheap" for some reason.

Thanks! I also notice the word "disrespectful" quite a lot in Chinese subtitle files that are auto-translated to English. The context in which it appears however, makes no sense. There is nothing disrespectful about what is happening on screen, so it is surely a mis-translation. Any ideas?

For myself, I have to know who's saying it and the context/scene? Is it teasing? Could mean the person is being 'naughty' or whatever.
 
This has been bugging me for a while-I'm sure there is something lost in the translation, but it's not a chinese/machine thing, because it is on a Japanese site:
There is a series of Prestige films, Absolutely Wonderful (ABW), and it is called literally "Chest Feces NTR" on the MGS/Prestige site:

I review this a long time ago. There's no feces in it at all :) Just a sad guy basically cuck by his ex(not knowingly... i think) and that ex(Remu) willingly being used as a cum dumpster.
If it has one positive; the ending basically makes it seem this story was told in reverse... almost. If I'm remembering correctly.

I avoid those NTR, pathetic stories. Not sure why their so popular with the Japanese audience but I have my theories :rolleyes:
Literally NTR and cuck porn is the worse for me, no matter the actress. It's hard to fap, especially when the ending is always a downer.

Has altered something behind the scenes that breaks DeeplV4, so I started using the “copy and paste “ translation option in subtitles edit to translate srt files piece by piece with deepl however I’m getting some “frame shift” errors where occasionally ( once it twice a film) two lines get combined causing the subtitles to be shifted off by one line. So the dialogue for see the 5 th subtitles populate the timing for the 6th line and everything get shifted down. Now I assume there is a way to shift the dialogue back but i can’t figure out how. Anyone have any thoughts?

i open *****.srt and copy all of it into that deep .....

oh i got it .. you have something with number of line .. so just delete it.

the answer is still the same ... use notepad in window or linux or mac

you try to open your file in notepad and edit it

for example
the file will look like this

so its easy to delete or adding anything into it

if you want to remove dialog 2

these 3 line and then dialog 2 will be gone .





i mean ( delete .... add dialog and such ) is faster than do it on the big program .

and then save file ( as srt .... ass or whatever you do )


and then open you file in subtitle editor. that what i think about your problem

copy and back up if you dont sure what will happen



in the end i think i know your problem . its about timing but i never have problem with it sorry . wrong answer.
