So the Quest 3, releasing this Fall 2024, will support full color passthrough. That is a game changer for only $500. It's a shame JAV VR hasn't gotten into the passthrough genre yet. It is a bit weird currently because your background is b&w, but once the Quest 3 drops, woah!
Personally, I am not interested in passthrough. I'm not interested in seeing actresses in my boring living room or bedroom, it's not believable to me.
On the other hand it has a lot of limitations when shooting movies and adding variety, because you have to position yourself in the same perspective as the camera so that your room matches the angle at which the scene was shot. And as soon as you move or the camera changes in the film, everything gets out of place.
This forces passthrough movies to keep the camera fixed all the time. They are very boring and dull movies.

I find it to be more realistic cause I can see the girl in my ACTUAL room, living room, kitchen, wherever.
From the passthroughs I've watched, it's really not hard or bad to position yourself or the model. You can get them right on top of you and still move your head around. And 99% of all VR porn has the camera stationary so I don't see how a fixed camera in passthrough is a deal breaker.
But to each their own.

But as you say tastes are tastes, everyone has their own. And porn VR needs to be as varied as possible. so passthrough are welcome. even if I won't watch them.

Plenty of people can, and these things will do a lot more than display porn. I think they'll sell quite a lot of them.
The significant sexy key words are all really easy to learn. Personally, I think they're a lot hotter than their English equivalents

Wow. SOD VR technical quality is just horrid. Minamo is gorgeous, but the quality and camera angles were very distracting.
