On one hand, I always appreciate new JAV info. Unfortunately you just sent me into another rabbit hole, LOL.
And as for me, you sent me into a search spiral that led me to at least several conclusions:
- At first I thought that it's the same site as I have discovered some time ago but forgot about (it has series search/listing, which is very rare for JAV sites to have, AFAIK, and I wanted to use it for my purposes, so thank you for reminding me indirectly)
- The "2024/07/09 VISA credit card payment (smartphone, PC) is now available." announcement on Xcream made me think it's a new site, and maybe it's a lowkey relaunch of R18 even. But the copyright info in the footer states 2019, and even though Xcream uses "R18" in its logo, it's not connected to the now-shut-down R18 (it was shut down in 2023, I forgot)
- Some of the comments about the R18 shutdown say that it was shut down not from the Japanese side but because some right-wing/religious people had to do with this and they affected the payment processing companies in the west (which ties back to our recent discussion about Fanza: maybe it's not (just) Japan closing down, maybe it's (also) west "helping" it close down, adult-content-wise?)
These right wing zealots fail to see the economic benefits, not to mention the opportunities for women.

IMO, it's the latter. If she actually kept all of that in her mind during the action, then she is not just underrated, she is a true porn actress, which is arguably more difficult than being a regular actress, since on to of regular acting, you also have to undress, suck dicks etc.

On the bright side, I found a really solid irama film. Kiyomi Reno is amazing.
But what sucks is that I found it purely by luck. By accident. There's a complete and utter failure to properly label the category of this film across 4 websites. It's unacceptable.

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but I too am very curious about this. I successfully used Streamfab on R18 before it became defunct. I continue to use Streamfab on dmm to rip rented streams into video files, and some websites such as MISSAV.
I've been tempted to buy from xcream, just to see if Streamfab can also work on it, but I'm hesitant because something tells me that the chance of success is low, since Streamfab is probably more designed towards web based streams, not a specialized drm player.
That's ok. I don't think I'm curious enough to exert the effort and spend my time asking about it.
I don't exactly trust them with my time, because I've already wasted quite a bit of time running through their mazes of bizarre methods to purchase their products.

I guess I was kinda on the right track when I theorized that it was most likely in the middle of transitioning from one type of distribution into another.
