Hello, today I am just going to comment that I am very satisfied with the AI of WHISPER+VAD, I know that it is not perfect but it is not comparable with the other options that exist, with Whisper when translating it into my language it has allowed me to enjoy the game much more. story behind each movie, I've translated most of the movies that don't have a subtitle and possibly would never have one, I'm satisfied with that, it's not PERFECT anymore, but you don't have to compare it with the other AI out there either, Whisper is way above those options in my opinion and with over 200 subtitles made, I can see that it is much better. In addition to the fact that there is the possibility that someone takes the time to edit the subtitles obtained and leave a much better one. So whether you are human or machine keep creating lots of subtitles and enjoy it.

Pd: If someone wants to take the time to edit and improve the subtitles obtained with WHISPER, I have NAGAE, FA PRO, which I will gladly provide you with some so that you can practice and give us an improved subtitle.

I had what I think is my first success at using "Whisper" colab version. I chose RCT-493 as my test case since I already had a subtitle file from EroJapanese. I wanted to do a compare to see how good Whisper is. Although not exactly the the same I would say that the Whisper generated translated subtitle file is/are certainly usable, albeit based on only this one data point. I did not attempt to clean it up but I am posting it to get your assessments. I used VideoProc application to strip off the audio and save it to a MP3 file.

I've done 22 of them so far. As with autosubs created from Chinese softsubs, they vary in quality between pretty good and terrible. Overall about the same quality as a random mix of autosubs you'd get off subtitle cat, but tends to miss more dialogue.

It is correct, it is not perfect, I modify my audio files before uploading them to the platform, I have gone through Whisper movies that already have CAT subtitles, in most of the files I have obtained better results, more lines and what I like about whisper are the complete sentences, logically it has its errors, sometimes it changes the sexual words for words that have nothing to do with it, for example (murder = ejaculate, kill = fuck) but I can correct it from the subtitle translator, taking the time to edit The audio gives me better results. I have verified it with several files, but not everything is perfect, there are movies that have bad audio or were recorded in terrible conditions, which prevents the program from working well.

LOL thanks for that. That word "kill" has appeared in several of the whisper subs where it makes no sense.

Can you please describe how you modify the audio file?

I use a movavi suite in it a file converter is included with the program that it includes it also has the option to upload the audio of the file when converting to an audio file (m4a) it even has the option to eliminate noise and also the option to equalize the audio of voice (that the loudest audio of voices are equal).

Well Whisper Colab sucked me in...after about 3 or 4 translations my translation was interrupted and said I was out of resources (or something to that effect) with a link to subscribe to get computer units. Although I'm not sure what a computer unit is in their world I opted for the $9.99/mo and am "happily" transcribing again! I don't mind paying for something that has proven to be worthwhile and I was actually wondering how long it would take to continue to get "free" service! lol

I use 3 accounts, 2 main and 1 optional (when I have many files that I like) but normally I only use 2 accounts, that gives me 12 files per day, logically I only use it at night, at the moment I only use the free version.

I hope a version for PC will come out, (not the subtitled Edit) that version is still not working well, I hope that soon someone will create some autosub-style program, just to put my file and create the subtitle without going to the Collab page. Even with all its mistakes I like Whisper much more than other AI.

In case you're using Whisper with VAD colab, the VAD in that implementation is Silero VAD which is designed by default to drop background dialogues (and noise) and to focus on "front" voice. That is why it doesn't work that well for group-sex genre, and works significanty better for single voice at a time. You can adjust the sensitivity of the VAD by adjusting the VAD threshold. It will help.

Do you need to purchase computer units if you can run Whisper locally using your own GPU?

No you don't. Purchasing computer units is just reserving a spot to use the remote computers to run whisper.

It's completely free to run it on your own pc.

Hi All:
Here is my beta version of Whisper subtitles for DVDES-834 A&B. My movie file came in two parts so here are the two srt files which I attempted to clean up a little bit (that's why I'm calling them a beta version!). It's also not my typical "I" genre and I didn't take the effort to amp it up! Anyway, enjoy and let me know what you think.

Classic Aika.. almost 10 years old! I love her old stuff. Not a lot of dialogue, but it was worth doing. I've managed to piece together a 4.6gb version of this video and it's one of my favorites. KV-119.
