For me the problem with this kind of scene is the obligatory use of a POV shot in which the camera takes the place of the man and the multiple women are tending to his needs. I know the idea is for me to put myself into the action, but it has the opposite effect on me.

Same for me in many cases. It really depends on the actress/plot. I could never watch a movie with POV only, even with VR.

HELP...While editing machine translations, I have encountered the phrase "that one" a lot. Most of the time, I can't figure out from the scene what the phrase is referring to. The "that one" stuff is from ano (あの), at least it's what they are usually saying when you get a translation like that.
According to some site I found (after all, I don't actually speak Japanese but I do speak google ) ano can have several meanings like "that thing over there", but it can also be used as a filler when hesitating (something like "Um")

In JAV it seems to be used a lot when a woman is asked to say something naughty or asked some embarrassing question and hesitates. So they mean the "um" option but the machine translation picks the "that thing over there" option.
