The new Prestige VR, PRVRSS-003, is now available for download, and... I have to eat my words. Director Charlie must has taken a VR filming class, because this movie is nothing like the previous ones. It's mega immersive, and even has close missionary... Strangely, his name has disappeared from the A Festa file (it was there before), so maybe it's another director...








Why didn't he do this with Remu Suzumori...

Unfortunately, I think it was filmed with the camera that makes girls look like giants, but I still need to check. If the camera is good, I'll buy it at A Festa.

Haha, exactly my thought. The title is far better from a technical standpoint than I would have imagined. My only two complains are that it's very short, sometimes rushed like the missionary is only around 3 minutes and in total only an hour. Also this studio they film in looks pretty bad. They have this matt and sofa in the beginning and it looks really dirty like they got these from a dumpster. I kinda felt bad for the girl that she has to film and get naked in this environment.


Speaking of releases on A Festa. The actress An Nomiya which so far had just one VR with Moodyz (MDVR-333) is now with DOC ERO.

I only mention it because I think she is a very cute actress but to me this opportunity is completely wasted by this studio. The theme of this VR is nipples which is fine but they do it the wrong way. I haven't watched the movie yet, just a quick glance in 2D, so I haven't seen that. It's strange, because in Remu's VRs the settings were luxurious... Or so I think, I watched them once and deleted them. This reinforces the idea that they have used another director, because I don't understand why they removed Charlie from the A Festa file.
In many VR movies you see very old furniture, dirty carpets... You're absolutely right, sometimes the girls have to work in terrible conditions.

DOC ERO has no idea what VR is. Their angles and distances are terrible, and things like showing the actor's hands on screen all the time confirm this. I don't even watch their trailers; I completely ignore this studio.

An Nomiya is very pretty; hopefully we'll see her with a competent studio.

The VR is very immersive, it's a shame that the sex only lasts 20 minutes. Something to put in the review...
If you buy it to support Prestige continuing to release VRs like this, don't buy the more expensive version with the extra footage: it's just a 1-min vertical video for mobile phones... WTF??!!

This VR has been the surprise of the year for me, because I didn't expect Prestige to return to VR, and I didn't expect such an immersive VR. Hopefully they'll release more like this one with Remu and the rest of their exclusive actresses.

By the way, I wrote this in my review of Prestige's previous VR at A Festa (2 out of 5 stars):

"The second VR of PRESTIGE is a second major failure. It's an outdated film lacking immersion. Remu Suzumori is always far from the camera. This is because the actor is always either standing or lying down; He never sit.
Remu Suzumori is only naked during the final 15 minutes of the sex scene. During the sex scene, the camera is always distant. The exception is the face-to-face cowgirl position, the only immersive part, but it lasts only 5 minutes.
There are no sex scenes showing close-ups of Remu Suzumori's back or buttocks, no scenes where she lies down and the man is on top, no scenes of nipple licking... The overall immersion in the film is extremely poor. 90% of it is just watching. It's not VR; it's 2D porn.

Director Charlie Nakata is outdated, still making films like it's 2020, while VR has evolved significantly in these four years. It completely wastes the potential of Remu Suzumori. If this director is making them, I won't buy any more Prestige VR films.

Finally, the 8K camera settings are wrong, and the film's IPD is off. Ryoumori Remu looks enormous, everything is oversized, and it ruins the experience".

I like to think that the executives at Prestige read that review and said, “My God, this guy is right about everything. Let's make the next movie exactly as he says!"
Just kidding, but with this movie they did exactly what I wanted: nudes, close missionary, ass and back shots, full immersion, standard camera...

OK, did anyone actually check out Prestige's latest VR with Nanashima Mai? Would like a 2nd opinion. I'm actually thinking of buying it now on Afesta. I still have a number of complaints about the title but I feel like they have at least fixed the worst of it.

For starters, it looks like they changed camera or something. Or at least whatever it was that made Remu look larger than usual is gone. Mai looks normal sized to me. And it doesn't have that stupid nonsense of cowgirl being ridiculously far away too. Distance seems normal to me. I think there might be a tad little bit of balloon head but its not really that noticeable. She has to stick her face right up to the camera for that to happen and anyone's face would look kinda big at that point.

I'm just not overly fond of the director's...err...direction. First scene has Mai introducing herself before she gradually undresses and we get to inspect her body from various angles. This is kinda nice although there is some distortion from certain angles like when you're below her glancing up but that really can't be helped. Regardless, its a good start to the title.



But the 2nd scene is one of those HJ/BJ only things which goes on for a full 19 minutes. Blah, would skip entirely except I really like the opening where Mai is lying on your chest. Always like these kind of scenes for the intimacy. Just wish it didn't lead to a HJ/BJ which is just blah. Might as well just stay on my chest. Prefer that anytime.

3rd is a masturbation scene where you use either use a vibrator or finger her. I really don't see the point of dedicating an entire clip to this. She is very lovely lady with sweet bod so its quite nice to see her splayed out like that but I'm not sure if I think its worth have an entire 15 mins dedicated just to this.



The 4th scene is where it all pays off and is also where all the sex is. It does actually have most of the positions. It also heavily favors F2F cowgirl. This gets the most screen time. I especially like that she starts up close initially, leans back to give you a nice full view of her body, and than closes in again. Sadly, not all VRs bother to have both positions of F2F cowgirl, and even rarer is one that will go back and forth between them. So bonus points from me. And yes, you do get to see her butt at some point. There is reverse cowgirl and doggy style.





The cowgirl does seem a teeny little bit further than usual but its nowhere near as bad as some of the worst culprits like Amatsuka Moe's only VR. Ugh...

There is actually F2F missionary but you only get about 2 and a half minutes of it near the end.

I won't exactly call this a return to form. Prestige could do better but this is a big improvement over the first 2 PRVRSS titles starring Remu and I believe it its worth encouraging them to make more. After all, it would be fantastic to see Prestige girls in VR. They do have some of the hottest girls in JAV on their roster. I wouldn't mind at all if we got more Remu using this camera.

So yeah, I think maybe I should give Prestige just a little bit of encouragement for not completely letting me down this time.

Edit: Hah, I also just noticed Walle posting a review. Cool. Looks like I wasn't just imagining it that Prestige has indeed improved.

Yes, I agree. The film has its limitations, but they've fixed everything that was wrong with the previous ones. Compared to VRs from other studios, it doesn't stand out, but compared to Remu's VRs, it's a masterpiece...
As you say, although the exploration at the beginning is fine, half of the movie is a boring blowjob scene and an even more boring masturbation scene with toys. I don't understand where the eroticism is in spending 15 minutes masturbating the girl with a piece of plastic...
But the 20 minutes of sex are very good, the film is immersive and, above all, you feel like you're with the girl, and not just watching like in Remu's VRs.

Even with its limitations, it's worth supporting Prestige, if it continues along these line, because now they are immersive VRs with exclusive, gorgeous actresses. I bought the movie, even though I already had it downloaded for free. Yes, they removed the Attack on Titan camera and used a normal camera instead. The girls no longer look giant, so that's a huge relief for both of us.

I would have preferred any of the ones you say too. Matsuoka Suzu doesn't really appeal to me, and she already has a bunch of VRs. But hey, if they're releasing two VRs in one week (!), it means they're planning to release VRs on a regular basis, so let's hope we get to see all the actresses.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that they keep all the good stuff we've seen in this VR, and lengthen the sex scenes, leaving out the nonsense of masturbation (or at least make it 5 minutes, not 15...).

I really wish they'd stop this, I find it incredibly annoying. It's especially bad when releases involve busty women. It becomes the entire focus, where the male actor will continually grope their breasts like they're squeeze toys, and pinch the nipples throughout the entire scene. Sure, many women enjoy having their breasts and nipples stimulated during sex, but not the way they tend to do it in JAV where it's done in a ridiculously fetishist manner.

In recent months, I've mainly watched VRs directed by Genius Knee, and although he's a director with many virtues, I'm tired of only seeing girls from the front, standing still like statues, where all they do is stare at you. That's the reason I particularly liked PXVR-353.

Here, Satsuki Fumino is your girlfriend, a little chaotic and messy, and in the first 20 minutes we see everyday scenes of life as a couple, where we can enjoy Satsuki's stylized body.

Nice review. Reading it I realised that I'm even more spoiled than you are . For me the issue with PXVR releases was never the girls or the theme and they have the right angles from time to time. But the camera is simply too far away for my taste and that includes PXVR-353. You can see it in your screenshots that the girl is always somewhere else in the room and even in the sex scenes they keep a certain distance that makes it harder for me to get immersed.

Besides that I could point out numerous smaller issues but let's focus on one angle. It might be nitpicky but even the sitting cowgirl isn't doing it for me the way they are filming it even though the camera is the closest of all angles they are using. In this angle they are not filming it right because the guy is lying down/leaning back too much and so it dosen't feel like you are on eye-level with the girl. This leads to two problems: first the girl can't hang on to the guy and instead is just hovering in the air in front of the camera. This way she is often forced to lean back (further away from the camera again) like shown in the screenshot. This way any kind of interaction with the camera is impossible or much harder to do for the girl so it always turns out less interactive. This angle overall feels fake to me and not like a real intimate sitting cowgirl in which the girl wraps around 'you'.

Just as a comparrison how to do it right from MDVR-391:

But I agree that they have improved slightly in 2025 and they are better than 80% of JAV VR studios. If they improve on some smaller issues and move the camera closer I would start to recommend them as well. Finally I wanted to say that Satsuki Fumino is a beautiful girl. I hope that we see more of her/ with other studios in 2026.

Crystal is right up my alley for the themes as well. I don't mind the simplistic stories they are using but I'm more particular about how they film it I guess. So for me the same issue with these two studios. Compared to 2024 Crystal has declined in this area. One example of what really annoys me is this stupid bedframe angle that for some reason is now the standard in 2025 CRVR titles. I really don't understand it and I'm not buying any titles of them that include this crap :

It's a nice angle. I prefer it when the girl isn't alone but with the guy (Crystal does both). The mirror is also a nice detail, but what I've seen from Crystal is that they often place the mirror wrong so the girl is barely seen in it.

2 o 3 years ago I used to collect individual scenes and didn't care if some positions were missing. But since I started translating subtitles and even rewriting them to create my own stories, I only watch full movies now.

Before, in a VR porn session, I would watch several scenes from different movies and “finish” as far as I could. Now I only watch one movie, and I like to “finish” in the close missionary position, which for me is the most immersive position because the girl is very close, you can see her whole body at the same time, and it's also the position she feels the most. That's why if any position is missing, the movie loses its appeal for me. Although in reality my only two mandatory positions are close missionary and F2F cowgirl, I'm not asking for that much...

Yes, it's true that PXVR places the camera a little far away, especially when compared to Genius Knee, which places it closest. In my case, the camera is within an acceptable range:



By lowering the angle a little with the stick in Heresphere, it works acceptable. I've seen others that are much worse, where the girl has to stretch forward to hug you. Here, the hugging position is natural.

It's weird and I don't see any patterns. The same directors do the crappy angle and the next title they use the close missionary and so on. Not sure how they decide when to use what. In 2025 they had some exceptions in which the angle was included:

CRVR-357 (Shiina Koharu ; nice GFE, I wonder if the actress is already retired? No title from her for months. It would be a shame)
CRVR-368 (Kitaoka Karin ; imo the most immersive Crystal VR of 2025, has some sex scenes under the blanket which dosen't include the missionary)
CRVR-370 (Aiga Mizuki ; this angle is a bit off, to me still acceptable and you can't go wrong with her)
CRVR-374 (Itsuha ; lot's of parts with clothes which is the reason I haven't bought it but the missionary is great)
CRVR-382 (Shishido Riho ; solid GFE and the missionary is pretty nice)


Of course that's only 5 out of around 40 titles for this year. I haven't checked those with clothes in all scenes but the tend to not include this angle. Btw. most of these titles are 50% off right now on A Festa. For those who care about picture quality it's a big upgrade compared to the usually crappy Fanza bitrate.
