hi. i want start use winny.
I use this FAQ - Click on me
Add nodes from http://winny.4th.jp/ BUT I CAN'T connect to the nodes.
Test my port "4444" open port. But i can't "open" BSS port.
Use this version - Winny v2.0b7.1 english v1.01

I used exactly the same ressources, and I never had such problems. I have also the "BBS tree file read failure" message as I didn't open the port for the BBS (it's not really important I think).

If your "file sharing port" is open, I don't see why it shouldn't work. Maybe trying to close and open the program can lead to different results. You can refresh the node list, for example from this place:

Ofcource port is open, i use share,utorrent,pd all work fine, but F*** winny don't want.
SOme time ago, maybe year i use winny and this program work.
utatane work...but now winny don't wqant ><


Maybe others users wich use not japanese ver. have same problem like my? if yes, how are you fixed it?

I don't know about the Eng version but try a 5 digit port instead of 4.
