Ha ha, I'm not so picky, I treasured a few more in 2024. But not many more either. Years ago I did keep single scenes, mainly because most VRs were pretty bad and only a few single scenes were worth keeping. Now I don't, like you, I only keep whole movies. Also, since I translate many of them with AI, there's not much sense in saving single scenes.
I see that you join the scenes in a single file... It's not a bad idea, but it would take me too much time...
I would love more VRs with Nozomi Ishihara, Ruka Inaba and Mei Miyajima, too.
I've never been much of a fan, but there are some in this thread. What is clear is that Idea Pocket, so far, is being the best VR studio of the last few months....

The single scenes were good enough, but a complete work feels substantial. They aren't common, unfortunately. Hope 2025 has many gems on the horizon.
LosslessCut does have utility, but for a large collection it may be a hassle. Depends on how capable your PC is - my laptop is underpowered, so takes a while to merge them.
Do it as soon as possible. If you don't know any Japanese, the movies change completely, it's another world. It is much more erotic and immersive when you understand the introduction of the movie, and you know what the actresses are saying during the sex... It's true that most of them repeat the same phrases, but others say quite erotic phrases that turn you on even more...
Nowadays it is quite easy to generate subtitles in your language, there are apps that do it automatically. I still do it manually with the method I posted a few months ago, because although it takes a while, it combines the two best tools (Whisper + DeepLTranslator), and the translation is more accurate than other methods.
It is very easy, just click on a couple of options in a menu. But it is true that you have to edit the subtitles to delete the hallucinations of the AI, or some phrases it repeats. I only translate my favorite titles.

So you merge the individual parts to one file and never skip any parts? I tend to often delete certain parts if they contain filler content that does not interest me. I don't mind that a movie has 2-3 parts but some studios cut it up too much like Crystal. They often have 6-7 parts which is annoying. In this case a single file would be better.
I have subs for every title in my collection. I don't edit every movie though, like Walle12 I only do so for my favorites or when the dialogues do matter for a title. It can massivly enhance the experience but it is very depended on the actress. @enduraVR you should absolutely try it with a release/girl that you like. On page 82 on this thread you can find a guide from Walle12

The trailer and previews of SIVR-389 look awesome and it's exactly to my taste in contrast to her debut (SIVR-363). I hope S1 takes this approach and applies it to future releases. 2dxxxisdead, you have it correct. A complete work feels more significant to me than individual sex scenes. Very selective with the works I download; works that qualify for the collection tend to have good balance of non-sex/sex scenes.
It seems I already tried Whisper a while ago, according to this comment of mine from February. I'll have to use Google Colab as SamKook advised. Not in a rush to do it, so all in due time.

She's attractive and has a good body, the movie looks good, and the A Festa version should look great. But already in the trailer I find the two marks on her belly and two more on her ass very distracting, although the rear ones are not visible with the make-up they have put on her.
From what I was told in another thread, they are marks from a cosmetic operation, to remove fat from her belly or ass, something like that...
The ones on the belly could have been made up better...

When I first discovered JAV VR I always jumped right to the sex scenes and never bothered with the rest. Took me a while to figure out that they have more to offer. So yeah, I agree with you endura ; watching from the beginning is what makes it more erotic, getting to know the girl, having a good time and a proper build-up to the sex scenes make it more exciting and immersive.Because with every movie I like, I'm going to think: “they could have done something like this with Miho Hana, and not the crap movie they made!!!”
It's also the reason I can't get into SIVR-388. Yes, Miho Hana is amazing and the movie has many parts without the 2nd dude in it. From the screencaps it looks like his sex scene is only a few minutes but it ruins the whole movie for me so I'm not going to watch it. The cuckold theme spoils it for me even though he isn't present for the whole duration of the last part.
The marks on her back are clearly visible, even if you watch the low res 2D trailer. For some reason it does not bother me that much, but I get it that it can be distracting. Of course it would be even better if she decided to just go on a diet and worked out for about ~10 weeks instead...
She is pretty but I was not a fan of her past VR releases. Most of them came out before I got into VR and shot with outdated tech or more recently they were rather mediocre KMP titles. But this Alice Japan release looks very promising.

From what I read on Zenra, Hana retired because Asuka was retiring. But logically, they have separate lives, one coming back doesn't mean the other will come back...

The whole movie is completely ruined. In 3 of the 4 scenes the guy is in front of the camera. In the scene 4 he doesn't, but he TALKS during sex, he makes several comments, he's there even though you can't see him. Besides, the scene 4 doesn't add anything, there are only two positions. I downloaded it in the hope that at least one scene would be saved, but I deleted the whole thing. I will not forgive this to S1.
It's not that I'm bothered by the marks, there are other girls who have much more visible cuts on their arms. But I don't know why, they're quite distracting, maybe because they're symmetrical marks. I think they could have made more of an effort with the makeup, they have made them up but with a different color, and they are even more noticeable...

PRVR-076 doesn't look bad, but it's true that the actress doesn't attract me too much. In that cover they have really Photoshopped her...

But I had a look at their release history and they didn't have anything out in Jan 2024 either, they only started releasing stuff starting Feb so many there's nothing to be concerned about yet.In recent months Moodyz was releasing 5 VRs per month. In January it has only released one, and has no more announced.... I'm starting to get worried...
Meanwhile, S1 just shot another VR just for me. I've been asking when Asano Kokoro's next VR is going to be and its a 3P with Mita Marin. This will be epic, for me at least.
