The only word that I consistently recognize is Okasan...meaning Mom/Mother.
That got me to thinking....
If I were to ever visit Japan and get lost, the natives who might try to help would probably think I was a simple minded feeb.
Why...?
I'd only be able to say one Japanese word...Okasan.
So...they'd probably think I was a retarded adult who has lost their mommy.
A random post, I know...but thought one or two friends here might be able to relate and get a giggle.

I have tested whisper. I noticed that for the first 1 min and 30 seconds, the whisper did not transcribe much from the dialogue and I noticed that the lines are being repeated and have incorrect timestamps. But after that 1min and 30 seconds, all the dialogues are transcribed well. Do you have the same observation as mine?
Note that I used the large model for testing.

Whisper has a lot of potential but still has a lot of bugs so far. Below is the result of my third try. Even in the middle part of the file, it stops transcribing anymore and just repeats some lines.
Note that the file is just 40 minutes long because I trim it to avoid longer minutes. And I used the large model for better results.

So slow translate, at least with my pc, dunno how long to get full video may be hours of cpu full load lol

Right now I'm testing the Subtitle Edit version, version 3.10 already comes with integrated Whisper, but it takes the same time as the movie to generate the subtitles, first I pass a video file, then I'm going to test with audio and I'll see if there's any difference important with time, because until now it takes a devil.
Hi - the sample that I posted still has long dialogues and still not having a sex scene, but the whisper did not transcribe those parts. 20mins of the file has still a lot of dialogue and whisper transcribe those with only the “yes” word from the last line it processed a transcription. That is based on my testing. Anyway, the program is still for development and improvement. Maybe they will improve it more soon. Who knows?
