These women clearly are porn actresses, not "employees". But they also look and act like amateurs. They act very camera shy and super reluctant to do anything sexual. I've seen only a few films but none of them have any interesting personalities. They have average bodies (which I kind of like) and they're not good at sex at all. But I have to hand it to the pervert overlords at SOD... they sure come up with one humiliating scenario after another for them.

With all the real world consequences of shooting porn, it seems strange to do it as an "amateur" character, without building any name recognition.
So are these like SOD's B-team or junior leagues for aspiring actresses?

Hey, I think what you're describing is pretty standard in the industry, not just with SOD but with other labels as well. I've noticed the same thing with some of the voyeur-style or "amateur" content from other studios I follow. They often reuse the same actresses across multiple videos, trying to sell the idea that these are real amateurs who are completely unaware of being filmed or the situation they're in. The video descriptions often double down on this narrative, claiming it's all candid or unscripted, which can feel a bit disingenuous.

I get why they lean into the fantasy, it’s part of the appeal for a lot of viewers, but I agree it’s odd they don’t just admit it’s staged and acted. It’s pretty obvious these are professional actresses, even if they’re portraying reluctance or shyness. Also, like you mentioned, a lot of these women don’t seem to have stage names, which is frustrating. If you start to enjoy watching scenes with a particular actress, it makes it really hard to find more of their videos without a name to search for. It does make you wonder if they’re being positioned as a sort of "B-team" or if they’re just kept in this niche to maintain the amateur illusion rather than building a recognizable persona.

I agree with what you said. I just wonder what a bad deal it is for the actress: No name recognition, probably less pay than a mainstream porn actress, bound to one studio, all the social stigma of AV. Plus they don't get to do anything fun at all! No dramas, no exploration of different genres. All they do is act out embarrassing scenarios.

Most of the actress are low level B tier and below actresses, some have a series and eventually freelance to other studios
