Maybe this has been brought up before, but I'll ask anyway.

Is there anyway to transfer a "Thanks" click from one post to another?

I try to post a nice comment on most of the torrent/DDLs that I pick up, and sometimes they wind up getting a "thanks" that was obviously meant for the uploader.

I don't want to stop giving words of encouragement to our uploaders (they deserve all the praise we can give them), but it kinda sucks that they lose out on "thanks" just because a person wants to tell them just how much they appreciate the share.

I'm guessing this is just a language barrier issue and non-English speakers are just clicking whatever button they see first (or maybe it's fluent English speakers who are totally hammered and can't see the right button). :puzzled:

At any rate, is there anything that can be done?

EDIT: I'm guessing I should have put this in Site Support, but its kind of a suggestion. :dunno:

Mods can move it at their discretion.

Well, the poster who thanked someone can 'remove your thanks' from a post and 'thank' the right post.

But if you're asking if someone else can do it, then no. Mods could (maybe), but they are busy enough with more important issues.

Keep in mind, sometimes people thank other people in a thread if they provide additional info, links to other versions, or just flash a nipple. :)

We can remove thanks, but we can not transfer it to another post.

Bummer. I guess that answers my question. :defeat:

This takes humility to a silly level. Take your Thanks like a man for Petes' sake and let the uploaders worry about themselves.

Silly Rabbit, you know we love ya.
