I don't want to sound harsh. But I have a question.
Why keep creating "un-edited sub files" and not edit the ones you already have?
Why don't you slow down and clean up the ones you already have?
Wouldn't it be easier to ask others what they would like subbed?

Don't get overwhelm. As I sub my own, I understand. There's lots of movies out there.
Just slow down and take your time. The amount of time you spend with your subs is what gonna make it the best for you

Haha no worries about sounding harsh. The reason I have all these un-edited files is a combination of me messing around and getting used to the program and making files just for my personal use. The way I approach subbing is just doing the bare minimum for videos I only somewhat like or haven't watched yet while videos I have already seen and really like I go back and clean up those sub files. I assume people would only be interested in cleaned up files but wasn't sure which is why I asked.

First, I really want to thank SamKook, soloporhoy666 and others for posting info about how to use Whisper collab. I finally got around to trying it, got a few videos done and hit the limit. I logged into a new gmail account but still get an error, though it is different from the limit-reached error message. Two questions, one, do you know how long the limit-reached error is in effect, like does it reset after 24 hrs or so? And two, the 2nd error was a time out error, but it came up almost right away. When switching to a new gmail account, perhaps I should have restarted Chrome? Any other suggestions for managing this limit for free users? Thank you again to all posters for helping with Whisper. I will add the srt files I generated here in case anyone else wants them. I have not cleaned them up though. If I do, I will repost if anyone wants them, just let me know. I use 2 accounts, the limit I have is 6 files before the program gives me an error, I upload audio files of 200 mb 1x1 first I upload one, then during the transcription process I upload the other, recently I have detected that whisper now play with the use of ram memory, which appears in the upper right part, if the box exceeds the use limit, the whisper program will also close, so now you have to pay attention not only with the use of the GPUs as well In the use of ram memory, I also recommend refreshing the file folder, so that the page does not fail, if you are using more pages, it constantly returns to whisper and refreshes, so that it seems that you are active on the page.

RCTD-095 Mother And Son's Parent-child Memorial Nude Shooting Improper Incest​

I used Whisper to produce this subtitle file for RCTD-095. I thought that this was one of the best translations I've gotten out of Whisper. I cleaned it up a bit and re-interpreted some of the meaningless dialog.. Again, I don't understand Japanese or Chinese so my re-interpretations might not be totally accurate but I try to match what is happening in the scene. Anyway, enjoy and let me know what you think.​

Here are three Aika subs, although DASD-516 has some other hotties in it. These are Whisper subs, and I looked through them to see how much editing it would take to clean them. Not a lot! There are some I/You switches and some other text. I apologize, I don't have the hours it would take to make them all perfect. I hope they can be enjoyed the way they are. DASD-516, PLA-052, and DASD-709. DASD-516 might be off time a bit as it has a small ad on the video I pulled from.

I used Whisper to produce this subtitle file for DVDES-734. I thought that this was a pretty good translation out of Whisper. I cleaned it up a bit and re-interpreted some of the meaningless dialog. Again, I don't understand Japanese or Chinese so my re-interpretations might not be totally accurate but I try to match what is happening in the scene. Anyway, enjoy and let me know what you think.​

Hi, I'm trying to learn how to create subtitles for JAVs so I downloaded a program called Subtitle Edit to use its audio to text transcription feature but it took it 15 minutes to create a .srt file for a 2 minute video. Is there an easier, faster way to create subtitles? Should I use another program? thanks in advance

The good news is it looks pretty good, but like all Whisper translations, it still requires a little clean up and occasionally a little re-interpretation to make sense. The bad news is it's an 8 hr movie! So I may be off-line for a while...I guess be careful what you wish for! lol

Status update (2/2/23) for anyone interested: just finished editing/cleaning DVDES-794A and will begin editing/cleaning DVDES-794B tomorrow.. Thought I would wait to post until both parts have been edited/cleaned unless anyone would like DVDES-794A earlier.

Use the virtual Whisper+VAD version (it is not necessary to use your computer resources) use MP3 files, I recommend M4A, if you have any audio enhancement program turn it up adjust the volume (I use MOVAVI), from page 218 onwards You can find some discussions of using Whisper (tutorial) you can see my posts where I use images to guide you, good luck.

Some (complete) movies take about 15 minutes to 1 hour, but the result is much better than the other options that already exist (that's my opinion, I'm sure someone else contradicts me), you can use the program up to 6 times a day. sometimes a little less. (free has a limit)

What is interesting about the cover, is the 'mom' as beautiful as she is, not exactly that cover(I appreciate Chuckie100 asking me about what I meant about the cover). Not the worse photoshop.
I think her boobs are perfectly more natural in the movie.

What's also interesting about the movie, is the 'mom and 'daughter' are famous porn stars.
Mom, Hitomi Ohashi. Who also does roles where she doesn't have sex.
And the daughter, Yuri Shinomiya is also a popular porn star.

No I meant her boobs and well her face is somewhat changed a little. But she is very beautiful and her boobs are great btw

bro what is VAD?

Hello, I understand that it is a code program that improves the audio of the files that go through that program, there is a virtual version that includes both, Whisper+VAD, with this it greatly improves the result of the subtitles of our movies, using whisper without VAD, it works fine but you will get a lot of repeated dialogue (also with VAD but it is moderate) also the result for me is much better, I leave you the link.

If I use collab and set vad threshold to 0 or remove the number there, will it stop using VAD? I have heard some of the online programs' attempts at isolating voices and a lot of them do a very bad job, making the dialog more unclear. I don't see a version without VAD linked anywhere so I suppose I have to use it?
And should I leave the chunk threshold at 0.3? Do the chunks increase in size with higher numbers or lower numbers?

Wow, I just tried that Colab link for the first time and the process is super easy. I was getting really confused trying to set up everything myself via Python or whatever, so that's a lifesaver.

Could somebody advise the best way to rip audio from vids? I think it was mentioned further back in the thread, but I'm having trouble finding it.

Demux it. Google how for your specific extension or use mkvtoolnix to put just the audio in an mka.
