New Torrents All Have Watermarks?

Is this just a new trend?
I've seen SUPJAV, JAVxx.com and x1080x.tv watermarks jumping from corner to corner on new torrent downloads the last couple of days.
Edit: Also on the streaming sites, which show where they are getting their videos, lol-I guess this is the new normal?

Ah, thanks, I wondered. It seems like an arms race-one group did it, then others did the same to keep up. The (not that) funny thing is a recent MissAV stream has *three* watermarks-their MissAV one, a SUPJAV one, and a x1080x.tv one...and of course the original SOD watermark.

The coming back of watermarks really sucks, but there are a few that don't have them at least(1 out of 4 of the bibian releases from a few days ago were clean). Hopefully that's just a trend that'll die again soon.

That's the problem when there's only basically one main source and everyone is using it as a base. It's mostly chinese rippers that are the source and they do all they can to earn money from it if you look at chinese forums, very few will share for free, it's all subscriptions and stuff.

I know it's a total first world problem, lol-I should just be grateful there are any high quality sources available.
And, like you, I did notice a new batch seems to be watermark free! Hoping sanity prevails.

Still better than those Madou-type (Taiwan?) videos that are so blatant with their self promotion/ads on their own videos-logos on walls, pillows, fake logo tattoos on actresses, ads on smartphones used by the actors-I find them completely unwatchable.

This has been bothering me as well, even though it's not been a hugely pervasive problem for me (looking at my numbers, of the last 75 new releases I downloaded, 5 of them had this new x1080x.tv watermark), Like SamKook said, this stems from the whole of modern JAV piracy being basically held up by a single source. I remember a JAV movie from last year that was slightly busted, and every single version of that movie online, whether streaming or for download, was this busted version. It's quite frustrating.

What I noticed is that when sextb.net posts/uploads a decensored version of JAV movies that had this new watermark, then that version doesn't have it. But instead of course it has its own shitty watermark that decensored JAV typically have. So like, someone other than the Chinese rippers seems to have access to a clean version of the movies but doesn't upload them.
