Well understandably there are different opinions on her. Her way of performing the sex is never going to win any rodeo. This is our semi-permanent thread for our fav busty lady. So I'll continue the conversation here.

Everything that says she's part this or that has been only speculation on fan's part. No one with any connection to her (herself, esp. interviews and social media, her agents, her studios, all commercial promotional channels) has make any comment about her ancestry, implicitly implying she's Japanese. Her birthplace is claimed to be Tokyo.

Her external features are definitely quite un-Japanese: permanently curly (but naturally curly?) hair, big high ridge nose, huge tits, large-ish ass, strong cheeks and jaw and slightly large eyes. However, if she has one white parent giving her those foreign genes, it seems her agency/studio would jump all over the chance to promote her as a haafu in addition to naming her after her cup-size. It's based on this I would lean against the haafu theory.

Note that "ハーフ系" (machine-translated as "half system") or in general "xxx-系" express a vague categorization rather than a statement of fact. I.e. you might say Kim Cattrall is 肉食系, but you won't say a polar bear is 肉食系, you would say a polar bear belongs in 食肉目. So calling Julia a ハーフ系 is almost as good as saying she is not a ハーフ.

Of course with JAV (in fact any Japanese public figures) you can never be sure of the truth behind the persona. Your un-made-up pix suggest her curl might be non-natural. I used to believe 100% her boobs are real, but now I think there's good chance they were surgically enhanced. Also very likely she has a lot of face work done over the years. In fact if you google ハーフ系, some of the top results you get refers to plastic surgery, suggesting that phrase is more applied to fashion, hairstyling, cosmetics and surgery (maybe even speech pattern and mannerism) rather than genetics/genealogy.

So my own theory is her huge boobs and curly hair and big nose is not all-Japanese genes, but it's thanks to western medical miracles rather than western genes.

About her hair, nose, eyes and make-up, I have very little to add. Only this: everyone does it. Every celeb has face work done, there is not "innocent until proven guilty". It's more like "you haven't done anything? what's wrong with you?"

What she/they have done to her face tells us nothing about herself or her parentage. It's 99% fan's preference (at least agency's perception of fan's preference) plus maybe 1% her personal taste. Her mark-up is relatively glamourous compared to average Japanese OL or MILF, but I don't think it's too way out there compared to the range of looks that JAV idols have, especially I won't call it "Excessive amount".

Wow, looking at the old pics really illustrates how much she's changed her look over the years. I guess she had work done here and there, instead of all at once, so it was more gradual and less noticeable.

I've also noticed a shift (or rather, an emerging market) in JAV towards that big hair/big tits/big lips Hollwood style, as well as Korean influences, in recent years.

Julia has been one of my favorites for a really long time. But, if I'm being honest she has grown tiresome on me. Eventually I want to see any actress I like do a really good deep throat or anal. I always thought she was a half blood. Boobpedia lists her as caucasian. And because of the name in romaji. From living in Japan -- signing your name in romaji really identifies you as an outsider.
