The Japanese have a different idea of immersion from you I guess. To them, immersion requires the girl to fit the theme of the video. So if its maid theme, she's usually gonna keep some of the uniform on. Schoolgirl, there will almost always be that ribbon and often the skirt as well. The other theme that has full nudity is one you don't enjoy - soapland.

Looking at Rena's VRs so far...let's see. GF at home -> Schoolgirl GF at home -> Chinese masseuse > Schoolgirl at school -> Maid
And of Rena's five VRs, only in the first one you can watch her naked. In the rest, she doesn't take her clothes off in the whole movie, either it was a VR with a big-headed , giant girls, or it was with oils...
The only one that appeals to me a little is the first one, where Rena gives the worst performance I've ever seen in VR: she's very serious, unhappy, and doesn't move. Completely breaks the excitement.
Beyond cultures and fetishes, I can't understand why a studio would release four pornographic VRs in a row featuring an actress who only shoots one every six months, and in none of them is she naked. I respect the absurd textile fetishism of the Japanese, but for God's sake, unless one of those four VRs includes a scene with the actress naked face to face... I'm not asking for much, just 10 minutes with seated cowgirl and close missionary and I'll be happy... 10 minutes in 4 VRs, but nothing...
They just don't make maid VRs like this anymore...so sad...

Went back to look at her solo VRs which I've had for a while but didn't really pay attention to and found that she was so cute in her early VRs but I kinda overlooked her cos she was mostly absent until a return to VR in 2024 where I really only liked 1 video. The other is some SM theme thing which I always avoid.
Yes, Hinata Natsu has a VR from three years ago that I love. What she's done since then is bondage, f***rced sex, threesomes, things I don't like. That's why I'm happy about this VR, it's going to be the first one with her that I've watched in three years.

For me, Rena dressing up as a maid is a porn star performance. You are virtually going to make love to a porn star. When Hinata plays the role of a virtual girlfriend, it is not a porn star performance; she is your girlfriend.
This distinction is key for me and explains why I like certain VRs and not others. In 2D, I don't mind watching movies about maids, all kinds of weird topics, even f***rced sex (without going overboard). Why? I'm a spectator; it's someone else doing something with someone else in a fake way; it's a performance.
But in VR, I'm the protagonist. My brain is capable of believing that it's me, if I can get into the character of the actor, into the premise of the movie. The problem with this is that, on a personal level, I would never fuck with a porn star, a harem, or someone dressed up as a maid, a schoolgirl, etc. Nor would I force a girl to have sex. That takes me out of the movie, it breaks the immersion. I'm no longer the one inside the movie. If I watch it I become a spectator, because I don't believe it's me, so I lose what for me is the main virtue of VR, the immersion, feeling like you're inside the movie, and I lose interest.
I understand that it's not like that for other people, obviously, but that's how my mind works. If I can't believe that I could be in that situation, that VR is no longer interesting.
Another issue altogether is nudity. I don't mind if the VR features clothing; of course I find lingerie sexy, even costumes, if at least they take them off in a scene. But I don't find it arousing to have sex with a girl who doesn't take her clothes off and whose genitals are censored. It's little more than watching an erotic movie on Netflix.
Before, Moodyz made 2-hour movies and included scenes with and without clothes, and everyone was happy. Now they make 68-minute movies like Rena's, and they're monothematic...
Guess what? 3 years younger than Hinata Natsu (doesn't look like it, eh?). 1 year younger (well, 7 months to be more accurate) than fellow S1 girl, Shirakami Emika. About the same ages as Sakakibara Moe.
