And now something completely different... let's discuss a studio that is barely talked about in this thread: TMA.

It is understandable because the way they market and package releases is a bit strange and it almost feels like that they actively try to confuse their customers . Quite often they combine similar but unrelated solo scenes with different actresses into one release and it's hard to tell if it is just a compilation of older titles or a brand new release. I think this devalues their product and of course they also have actual compilations and repeats in the mix which makes it even more confusing. This is all very weird but I would say that they are better than most other smaller studios and sometimes they have the occasional winner if you don't demand perfect angles.

I will mention two of my favorites, one newer title in 8k and the other older one I have improved with Topaz:

I think this actress is exclusive with TMA and it's her only solo VR to my knowledge which is a shame because her acting in VR is great. She has a nice skin, awesome curves and great tits. I'm surprised you like this studio, they barely have a handful of VRs with close missionary, or is it just clothes. Plus most of their themes are controversial, they make me uncomfortable.

I fully agree with your assessment. The two scenes I have posted have C-tier missionaries which isn't ideal but for me still acceptable and the other angles are decent which is good enough for me. Most releases of TMA are worse than that. On the other hand they have some girls you otherwise only see in VR with absolute trash studios like AQUA and if you count the individual girls they have as separate releases like the two I have posted for example both have three girls. By that logic they have produced over ~500 VRs. About the controversial topics and clothes, yep... That's the reason I only have like 3-4 scenes from that studio which is less than 1% of what they have produced.

The trailer does not show the anus. It used to be a pretty normal thing, especially in debut movies, but lately S1 and Moodyz have almost eliminated it, something I don't understand. I like to watch it, an exploration of the full body.

Akari Noa is very cute and shy, I liked the trailer, I will buy the movie. But don't expect great picture quality, it's Fanza. Compare the same movie in the Fanza version and in the A Festa version, which has 8 times more bitrate, and you can cry. Like going from DVD to 4K. Unfortunately in A Festa there is only SOD, Faleno, VRKM, Crystal VR and little else.

I was watching it yesterday and the face is quite believable, it's acceptable. But the effect is destroyed because the teeth look bad, you notice the AI teeth stuck on top of that protruding tooth Minasuki Hikaru has. I have tried to take screenshots but in 2D it does not show, only in 3D. It seems to be a bug in the AI generation of the teeth at different angles. By blending the image of the 2 eyes, the teeth look double.

A funny thing is that the pointy ears are plastic, and they stick out above the real ears....



I don't see this as commercial until they fix the teeth issue, but they are selling quite a lot in both A Festa and Fanza...

I didn't watch it yet in headset yet but I had it in my downloads folder before leaving on a business trip. Watching it on my desktop as soon as she smiled it was obvious it was Hikaru. If they can get the teeth thing fixed and don't use stupid stick on appliances I think it's a neat idea. It's just a pity they used an A-List star for the face swap. I'm sure there are plenty of unknown girls who aren't as attractive or just girls who would prefer to be more anonymous to lend their body for something like this. Xenu only knows how much time we have before Hikaru throws in the towel. Maybe we get lucky and they release a version without the face swap in the future.

Huh, can't really say there were any girls I liked in 2D that I suddenly disliked in VR. I had always favored first-person view even in 2D so VR was just a step up.

But I did suddenly start to pay more attention to a few more girls since VR. Sakura Momo was always on the fringe for me in 2D but she's clearly a star in VR and one of my favs. I never cared for Itou Mayuki at all in 2D but she's now also one of my favs.

I also never really paid much attention to Saito Amiri and Kinoshita Himari in 2D. They're both also really great in VR.

Can add another topic to this list - girls from 2D who you wish stuck around for VR. Let's not go so far back as to suggest girls who retired from way before VR took off like Uehara Ai else the list will go on forever as we keep listing JAV legends. Let's stick to those on the fringes who, if they waited another 2 or 3 years before retiring, we could possibly see them in VR.

I took a quick look at Mio's new VR (MDVR-353) and, thankfully, all OK. ZAMPA didn't screw up this time.

I just made an improvement to my setup. I bought a pair 2TB SSDs (any larger will be too expensive) with an external case (has a cooling fan, not expensive) and than transferred my most commonly watched VRs onto them. Of course, I have XBVR to manage my collection so its not like I have any trouble finding what I want to watch among my many drives.

Makes a huge difference to not have to hear some drive spinning away when I load some videos, and I can skip back or forwards instantly and it happens without any wear or tear on the drives cos SSD have practically infinite read cycles.

I highly recommend this setup, but you will need to be using either Stash or XBVR to help you manage your collection less it gets too chaotic.
