I have thousands of VR movies in my collection, and zero are from MAX-AVR. Their first titles were a technical disaster, the girls looked gigantic, and later they always shoot with the camera far away, and sex full of clothes.
But I bought the 8K version of MAXVR-148 and, if you like mature women and rough sex.... WOW.
Those nipples in 3D are epic...
The camera is close all the time, there are very immersive face-to-face scenes, and Kawakami Yu's experience adds to the realism. This woman doesn't get older, she's still as sexy as ever. The best VR of Kawakami Yu by far.
And it is also the 8K film with the best image quality of Fanza, very good definition and a bitrate of 45-48 Mpbs, much higher than the 11-15 Mbps of the mediocre 8K of S1 and Moodyz. The download sites only have the 4K version, living in the DVD era.
Today it's time to talk about studios I don't normally recommend.... I've been complaining so much about SAVR not shooting VRs without clothes and with face-to-face missionary, that they're starting to listen to me... They've already released some, although they still suffer from slow, robotic and artificial sex. But at least they have improved the immersion.

Yeah, they also seem to release more and more of that weird stuff and the newest nonsense (not showing any picture or ID because I don't wanna promote/share it) from them with Aya is especially sick, wth. The unfortunate truth is that they do it because it must sell well. Even if this kind of release is not showing up in sales rankings they will sell over time because it has no competition in that niche so they will even keep selling it months after release.
I can only speculate, my theory is that what you want is in an awkward spot. Like you said it's not a fetish but also not mainstream either, atleast not the "no guy lesbian" stuff. So the vanilla studios like Moodyz or Kawaii won't do it because it's not mainstream and SOD will not do it because it's not fucked up/niche enough. You also have to pay two girls and you really have to know what you are doing with the camera angles and so one, so you need a good director for it. Otherwise it would just suck and it would be kinda boring/slow. On top of that the actresses have to nail it with the performance and know how VR works (rip SIVR). An average performance would be amplified in a negative way in this kind of content I feel. And again you already have the "lesbian" content with the guy and two girls, atleast form their perspective/from a filling the niche perspective. That being said these lazy fucks better figure it out regardless and delivery the content asap...

I don't know, but I don't think lesbian VR is more niche than those SOD VR "virtual r***s" or a 70 year old woman stripping.
In 2018-2019 SOD VR was releasing one or two lesbian VR a month, girls only. And applying your argument, since it's niche they could also sell months after release, which doesn't happen with regular VRs.
But you're right that if it's done, it's done right, otherwise it's not going to sell anything. That's what happens with KAVR-209, which I didn't buy it because to watch lesbian with the camera two meters away, I'm not interested. That's not VR. Or the last titles that SOD VR has released, where you are a girl, a nonsense where you can't see anything, because you can't see your own pussy, or the kisses...

Tsukino Runa? Hmm...I dunno. I don't have her anywhere in my collection, has to be a reason for it despite her having the body type and face that I like.
If I'm not mistaken, its cos she has a series of scars across the front of her torso, all over her stomach. Its very obvious in VR and horribly distracting. Not quite something that's easy to avoid and overlook.
I mean some of the girls have cuts on their arms but you don't always have to look to the side. But scars on the torso are right too visible.

Yes, it is true. In some movies the scars are made up and are less noticeable, in others they are quite visible.
In VR they are quite obvious, it's inevitable, because in VR you see even the pores of the skin. Personally they don't bother me too much, I accept that many bodies are not perfect, but whenever I see them I always wonder why she did it, and it makes me a little uneasy. I'd like to think that it was bad times that ended long ago. The scars are old.

Nice guide, thanks. I applied this method over the last couple of days and it's true, it improves the experience quite a bit. Especially the introduction part becomes much more enjoyable.
I have to be honest, at first I was reluctant to apply translations because I was worried that it might not be to my liking what they are actually saying. Besides some very basic phrases that you can pick up quickly it was more of a guessing game after reading the description and filling the blanks with what you think or want them to say. Which basically felt like this guys must have
My mistake was that I compared my experience with western porn which in almost all cases is just awful from what they are saying and how they say it. This annoyed me to a point - when I was still watching this content - that I often disabled audio completely. Understanding what the girl is saying felt more like a curse to me.
But making this comparisson to JAV was stupid. It's completely different. The girls here actually convey a story that makes sense from start to finish and they can freely talk without much instructions and keep their unique personality while doing so. They are more subtle, nicer and thoughtful in how they say thinks. I could go on rambling about it, but yeah. It's in a completly different league by all measures.
Now I've applied this to a few movies and my conclussion so far is that the method described by Walle12 guide is still viable (AI moves fast so you have check constantly I guess). My current settings are (please share if you have a better/higher quality method):
Translating directly to English with SubtitleEdit is not horrible but doing the extra step with DeepL is still worth it and improves the quality I think. Besides that even with all the improvements with AI it's far from perfect. For example some things might be impossible to ever be translated this way because language is contextual (mixing up he/she and so on). Other flaws that I noticed might be fixable in the future:
- ear whispering or audio just at one side is often not captured by the AI at all
- same goes for if moaning is mixed with dialogue. Not a huge problem because in most cases I use subtitles more for the introduction part
- sometimes the AI merges two sentences to one line even though these two sentences are far apart, like for a minute or more. So the text is not disappearing for the whole duration. This is the most annoying to me. Any way to fix that automatically? I already disabled "merge short lines" but it's not helping in all cases
- not sure if it has a filter for stuff that is too lewd or sexual. But it often "misses" that kind of stuff. I'm not sure if this is on purpose
- In general mistakes, stuff that makes no sense but this is rarely the case

Of course there are also silly scripts and actresses who just say catch phrases, such as "It feels good" and "I'm coming", but in general the AI translation enhances the eroticism of most VR movies.
I have removed all those options in blue. I don't use any of those optimizations. In the tests I've done, almost all of them do is mess up the start and end time of each sentence. That is, the sentences start or end out of time. In the end, the least error-prone thing to do is not to use any of that, even if you have to correct dialogues by hand.
Note that in the latest version of SubEdit there is a new engine called "Faster-Whisper XXL", which in theory is more advanced (and consumes more resources). But you have to install it manually (see the What's New)

Yes, the translation is still not perfect. As you say it makes mistakes with genders, it hallucinates and says nonsense, or sometimes a sentence stays on screen for minutes. You have to do a lot of editing by hand, testing with the movie, even adjusting the timing of some sentences yourself. That's why I'm only translating my favorite titles. It's quite a lot of work, but the result is worth it.

@2dxxxisdead, this weekend I've been testing the PS VR2 on the PC with the adapter, and I've been pleasantly surprised, to the point that I'm going to retire my Reverb G2.
They give a little less definition than the Reverb G2s, but they gain in other things, which for me have more weight, such as much more FOV, better colors and blacks of the OLED screen, and especially, brightness.
Porn in VR is more realistic because the skin colors that the OLED gives you are more natural, and the higher brightness makes it look like you are under natural light without glasses. I have noticed an improvement in the realism of JAV VR.
Otherwise they have worked perfectly for me with all kinds of games. They emulate Quest 3 controllers, so they work with everything.
If they are on sale at $350 as they did a few weeks ago, PS VR2 is a good alternative to connect to the PC, without having to use intermediate software to compress video like Quest, that eats 2 GB of the VRAM memory of the graphics card.

Glad to hear you like it. A shame that they turn the Reverb into e-waste soon. Yeah I saw a couple of reviews and they were mostly positive. The biggest problem seems to be the BT connection to the controllers. But if you manage to have a stable connection the headset should just work fine as a PCVR headset. Also forget spec sheets if you compare against OLED. It simply is the best screen technology for watching videos/movies. It's maybe also the best "budget" headset for sims (flight simulator, racing games). And I guess the comparisson that I posted earlier is not relevant with antialiasing enabled? So you saw no chromatic aberration with text/sharp boarders? Could be annoying if you watch with subtitles.

I haven't watched the movie yet, I'll keep an eye out for that new angle. Honoka Furukawa is fantastic, she always gets very close to the camera, and is very intense in her performances. I love her.
I'm not a fan of this actress, maybe because I didn't like her previous VRs. This one looks more interesting. It's directed by Yazawa Receive, which is always a guarantee of immersive movies. I'm sure it's going to be much better than the previous ones.
