On sukebei there were only a couple of people who uploaded JAV VR, they don't do it anymore or very occasionally, so by torrent it's almost impossible to get anything.
Here some of us buy from Fanza and A Festa. The only option you have left is some website with paid downloads like Akiba itself and others. In Akiba also passed the good times where JAV VR titles were uploaded every day. Now it's once a week, and not all titles...
Buying quite a lot of them these days, cos of exactly what you stated.

That explains why they've been releasing just 2 o 3 VRs a year with Ichika for years, and in the last 3 or 4 months, they've released 5 or 6...
I don't like Honnaka, and even though Moodyz has lowered the level in 2025, I prefer them. The problem is that Moodyz has so many actresses, that Ichika will do 2 VRs a year, like the rest....
By the way, the issue of exclusive actresses vs. freelancers has always caught my attention, because I don't really know how it works.
Is being an exclusive actress a goal as an actress? Is it really considered better than being a freelancer? For example, for me Ichika is a top actress who deserves to be an exclusive actress of the best studios, but she has been a freelancer for many years. Are there actresses who choose to be freelancers, or when they are offered to be exclusive, do they always accept?
I guess exclusive actresses earn more, but at the same time, freelancers shoot a lot more movies, so they also earn money.
I guess being on the staff of a big studio opens doors to advertising promotions that freelancers don't have.
But I'm speculating, since I don't know how all this works.

Also KMP has two more upcoming titles with her that both look pretty good, VRKM-1584 and VRKM-1603. That is if you like the standard/'boring' vanilla VRs. Looking forward to them. Btw. hard to say by the promotional pictures which one looks better, going by the missonary pictures they look very similar. I personally would go with the left (VRKM-1584) because I'm a sucker for wet hair.
I also want to quickly mention Tomoe Hikari and URVRSP-460.
I had a quick look at this title because the screencaps caught my attention. Her acting is out of control, one of the most interactive VRs from Unfinished in a while thanks to her performance. Compared to other actresses she can carry a release without constant interventions from the director. Unfortuantely her plastic boobs are such a distraction that it was hard to watch for me.
Anyways, this title also let me think that if Unfinished would make VRs like that with experienced actresses like Minatsuki Hikaru or Suehiro Jun for example it would turn out great. It would make much more sense than these newcomers that they mostly had recently which they literally have to dictate every single sentence and emotion.
. This one is yet another solid title from Madonna - to me still the best and most reliable VR studio in 2025. The actress (Iyo Shinohara) was also great and I think it was her first VR but she seemed like a pro. Solid work from Genius Knee and Madonna. The perfect combo.
I personally prefer the Kawaii release. Yuzki Ria is much more interactive in this title, smiles, laughs and talks the whole time. I couldn't believe this is the same actress that I saw previously in the Unfinished releases. I also think that the Kawaii title has much better angles. While it's true that they have similar positions like @Walle12 says KAVR-416 is more refined and technically on a different level. It hits differently when you compare the same positions side-by-side. And lastly what ruined the SOD title for me a little bit was the fact that the male actor was constantly touching her body in the first two parts. I had to skip over some chapters because of it. Drove me insane...

No idea what was going on in this title. For some reason she didn't act or show any emotions. I think it's a similar concept to VRKM-1539 but even worse. Deleted it after a few seconds.
One of the better VRs from Zampa. Somehow he remembered this time to get closer with his damn camera. Araki Noa was super cute and very natural. She isn't exactly my type but I enjoyed this title. Nothing to add to your detailed review, thanks.

Yes, it's better than the Faleno release but I'm still not sure what to make of it. It has it's moments but you really have to endure a lot of filler. I didn't like the introduction in which she mostly talks about some 2D movies she has made. I guess it makes sense going through her career like that but it didn't connect with me. And overall the first three parts are kinda forgettable. All the decent sex positions are cramped into the last part which is fine and has it's moments. What is your verdict?I have also bought & watched Sayama Ai's farewell VR, MDVR-351. Most of it is exposition and blowjobs, Ai recalls her most popular movies and I think she recreates the scenes in VR (I haven't translated it yet).
But since the movie is over three hours long you can get about an hour of pure great and immersive sex out of it:

The problem with this title is that Part B is unwatchable, 9mbits... I had to stop after a few seconds. Will try my luck upscaling the 4k version of this part with Topaz and see if it is watchable. From what I've seen so far it's rather a mediocre title.

Yes, possibly Kawaii's title is better, and although the positions are the same, the angles are better, but something strange happens to me with that Kawaii's VR, I see a giant Rya, and it breaks my immersion. Comparing her with the VR of SOD, she is much bigger, as if the camera had zoom.
Completely agree, it's something I hate. Years go by and actors don't learn. Or there's no director to tell them not to do that. Touching a little is normal, but it's all the time with his hands on the screen, it breaks the immersion.
I'll go with VRKM-01603, because I think in the other one she won't take her top off until the last 15 minutes.... Honestly don't expect much from either one, the face to face positions will last 3 minutes.
Tomoe Hikari caught my eye because she is very pretty and she is tall. When I downloaded the movie and saw that she had plastic boobs I instantly deleted it. Good thing I didn't buy it because I would have pulled my hair out.
For such a young and pretty girl to insert fake boobs just to stand out really pisses me off. Crossed off my list, I condemn her to ostracism forever.
By the way, it's funny that in most of the covers they use Photoshop to enhance the tits, and this one, who has them enhanced, they has them disguised so they don't look like plastic... In the cover of the movie she has them reduced... Don't look fake...
It's curious you mention it because just yesterday I bought URVRPS-467, because it's 106 minutes long and I was really looking forward to watching Nishimoto Meisa, and it's just what you say. Meisa hasn't shot a lot of VRs, but she's an experienced actress and she knows how to interact with you in the intro, although in the sex is a bit more shy. But she transmits realism and naturalness.
By the way, this VR is very immersive, the best I've watched from Unfinished in the last two years. Meisa is very beautiful here, with a perfect body, and the 106 minutes deliver: the missionary lasts 7 or 8 minutes instead of the usual 3 or 4, and in general the sex has a better pace, because they are not running like in most VRs. I think you'll like it.
Unfortunately Unfinished has announced 2 or 3 more titles with her and it seems they are back to bad habits.

Since it's a 3+ hour movie you get 40 minutes or 1 hour of good sex out of it, but you get the feeling that 2 hours are wasted on nothing. It's a bit what we're talking about: it's Iyo Shinohara's first VR, but she's an experienced actress, she transmits naturalness and that increases immersion.
Totally agree, Madonna has been shooting the most immersive and realistic VRs out there for over a year or two.

I would say she's being a better actress than we give her credit for. Its not merely being expressionless. She's playing a wife who has fallen out of love for you and is likely cheating on you behind your back. Out of spite, you force her to have sex with you anyway which she clearly does not enjoy.
She actually looks gorgeous here, and the camerawork is somewhat better than KAVR-416. But the mood of the video makes it not kind of a niche appeal. Its not for everyone. I don't like it myself and also prefer KAVR-416.
I think SOD has done it. They possibly have produced the weirdest VR of all time: 3DSVR-1766. I'm not going to spoil anything but it reminded me of the horror movie Midsommar but much much weirder. Check out the trailer yourselfs:

I think when they make these farewell VRs they don't do them for the VR audience like us. Instead it's meant for people who mainly watch her 2D titles or buy the magazines that they show in the Sayama Ai title. They also try to please everyone and so instead of one ongoing story over the 3+ hours they have 5 or more mini stories all included in one movie. To me it kills the flow of these titles and it all feels random and chaotic. I see them more like extra material similar to what you find on a DVD.

True, she always looks great and it's not the problem with Unfinished releases. They still nail the camera work, lighting and so one like no other studio.

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I really don't like having another dude in my VR. I will kinda tolerate their presence only if they're off the the side or something, but I don't need them having sex alongside me thank you very much.
On the other hand, having the other girls applaud and shower you with flowers when you cum in a girl seems like a fun scene haha.
I've tried to watch some VRs with f***rced sex, and I can't. It makes me feel bad. Plus I would never force a woman, so it breaks my immersion.
That's what the studios that do VR don't understand. A f***rced sex scene in 2D is one thing: it's a movie, it's an actor doing something with an actress, you're a passive spectator, you feel outside of that scene, just watch.
But in VR you are the actor, you are forcing yourself on the woman, and even though you know it's fake acting, you either get immersed in it, which makes you feel bad, or you don't get immersed, and it breaks the immersion.
It's like a horror movie starring a killer. In 2D you accept it because you're a passive viewer where the movie is telling you a story. In VR, if it's you sadistically stabbing someone, it's a very different thing. Maybe in a videogame, but not with real video.
I don't even look at their releases anymore. Every time I see a title like that, which is 90% of the ones they release, I think: "They do this bullshit and they can't release a lesbian title?" Then I get pissed off, and I tell them to go fuck themselves.
I've become so sick of them that I don't even buy their vanilla titles anymore. I was going to buy the Yuzuki Rya one but in the end I didn't buy it, I don't want to give my money to these people to finance bullshit like that. When they release some lesbian titles, then we'll talk.
I've said it before, studios, and Japanese porn consumers, still see VR as a curiosity, an exotic extra, and that's why they shoot a VR every six months with famous actresses, and in many cases put the actress to do weird things, with costumes or oils, because they see it as an exotic complement to the 2D titles they shoot. They can't imagine anyone just watching only VR. Their heads explode.
But it's true, if there's one title where it's natural to think about 2D users, it's a farewell VR No complains.
I'm not criticizing that the scenes are disjointed or that they spend a lot of time talking, but that they have incomprehensible things, like identical scenes where there is only one blowjob, or in the case of Moe that all the sex scenes have to be watched with a telescope
It's the only VR of her life and there are only 10 minutes of immersive scenes...

Well, its not exactly r*** per se. She's not crying about it or anything. She just gets very grouchy about it. Her reaction was more like "must I?", "so troublesome", and "are you done?" sort of thing. Not quite sure what the scenario here it is that you can still make her have sex with you even though she doesn't really want to, I probably could figure it out if I could be bothered to listen carefully to the conversation but I'm not always in the mood for a drama when I put on my headset.
Its somewhat amusing at first but its not very erotic. Some folks might get off on it. But I think most guys would prefer to have a willing participant, or at least act like they are enjoying it.
BTW, skip KIWVR-766. Its a weird theme. Well, when I was talking about f***rced sex I wasn't referring to this specific title, I was talking in general. I haven't watched that movie so I can't give my opinion. But in the pictures you can see the actor grabbing Rya by the neck, and that makes me not want to download it.
I'm not so sure. They are making more and more f***rced sex VRs. There are a lot of people who enjoy the fantasy of forcing and humiliating women. For them it's not fantasy, of course, even if they're acting.... Some humiliations are pretty disgusting and pathetic. It's part of JAV's reputation.
Depends on the studio. SOD and TMA publish at the same time in both stores. Crystal VR usually takes a month, and with KMP it's a lottery. There are single titles that come out just a couple of weeks or a month later, but most take months. One title I was waiting for took 8 months..... The last ones, 4 or 5 months...
They had been almost two years, since the release of the 8K format, without publishing in Afesta. Now they are back, but they are releasing 10 titles at a time every 8 or 10 days, mixing old and new, so it's a lottery.
But Afesta's image quality is so much better, it's worth waiting as long as it takes.

I actually enjoy the strange scenes SOD puts out. It's fun to see something new for a change, even if 99% of the time it's too weird work as a jerk off material. Maibe I'm naive, but i feel like trying out new things pushes the medium forward in some way. It might be not always for me, but feels like nobody else is trying anything new
With how fast new actresses come and go, it's hard to predict which will stick around for longer. I think this newbie has potential, Akari Morimoto. Debuted last year, two VR scenes so far, with an upcoming one from Unfinished. Banger body, very cute face, and so far very good performances IMO. She reminds me a bit of Yuki Rino for some reason, maybe because of her eyes. I'm looking forward to see more of her

Hanamori Kaho is unexpectedly larger than I thought she would be. At first, I thought its cos Zampa is messing around with the camera again. But unless the guy they hired to be our stand in is a tiny fella (don't think so), than it would seem this is indeed her size. She's unfortunately not as petite as Sasaki Saki. Shame. Still, would be nice to get another VR from another director to know for sure.
She can look a little big headed when her face is up close to the camera. Like this...
Don't let this throw you off, people do have unfortunate angles sometimes. She's actually very cute, and those flawless cheeks of hers are just asking to be kissed. Shame this is not something we can do in VR.
But oh man, if there's any girl who can rival Kasui Jun in having the most flawless skin, its this girl. It almost feels like you're despoiling something sacred. Even her teeth look great which is something that is surprisingly rare in JAV VR where a lot of girls look like they need to see a dentist.
She's a far more spirited performer than I expected too for a relative newbie. Quite a bit of a talker too and these types are the most fun, IMHO.
Something that you won't exactly notice here cos she's lying back is that she has a bit of belly fat. But frankly, after the succession of skinny girls we've been getting lately, its good to see a girl with some meat on her bones and you can't see her ribs.
She does have this tendency to close her eyes every so often too but she's not anything like Amatsuka Moe. Her ever changing facial expressions makes it clear she's not just lying there like a dead fish letting you poke her. She's clearly feeling it. Look at her hands, she's clenching the bedsheet.
Overall, I consider this to be a worthwhile purchase and its a prime candidate for my best VR of 2nd quarter of 2025. And that's something I won't say about quite a few other Zampa VRs.
Oh yeah, happy to report Zampa didn't screw up the cowgirl here like with Moe, and there are few sights as magnificent as Kaho in cowgirl.

I'm not saying that there aren't some curious or funny titles, I also like to watch original content. But would you buy those titles? It's one thing to watch them for free, and another to pay 20 euros for each of them....
I say this because they are supposed to make movies to make money, and I can't believe that those weird titles generate more money than a lesbian movie, which there is none, and there are people waiting to watch them.
Those titles are just for watching, most of them aren't even VR, there's no immersion, it's just people doing weird stuff a meter away from you. For free, I'd watch some, but I'd never pay for that. Lesbian titles on the other hand, I'd buy them all.
What makes me angry is that they don't try. They make about 15 or 20 weird comedy / f***rced sex VRs A MONTH, and can't they make a single lesbian movie? Even if it's just one a month.

Thank goodness it's not just me, I already thought I was going crazy.... It looks bigger because of the camera or the camera settings it's the same as the Moodyz movies with big headed and giant girls, only here it's less noticeable.... But is not the girl not the small actor, it's just that with that camera anything closer than half a meter gets bigger. That's why you see the giant faces... And what is far away stretches, so Kaho seems taller to you. And by the way, exactly the same thing happens in Moe's VR, if you look.
I hope they don't start using this camera for everything, because it kills me....
As for Hanamori Kaho , I've only watched the movie in a skim but she is AWESOME. Much prettier in VR than in the photoshopped pics, something rare. She has a dazzling smile, perfect skin, on par with Kasui Jun as you say, and she acts quite well too. The movie is immersive and the face to face scenes are good. For me the best debut of the year so far, along with Araki Noa.
