What does your collection contain in general and statistically speaking? I throw in some numbers of mine:
- around 40% is 8k and the rest is 4k. I don't have anything with a lower resolution
- the oldest release I have is from 2020
- most releases are from 2024. I don't have the exact number but I guess around 1/3 of all releases
- the studio I have the most releases from is... KMP . WTF? Well they produce so much, even if you only keep around 1% of their releases it's still like a million or so and they are doing this for years. It still suprised me when I checked and it's not even close

We may be at the beginning of a new era, where women with a good body but not very pretty, make a living as AI models....

What does your collection contain in general and statistically speaking?

I have no data because my collection is divided in 5 or 6 external hard drives, I think I reach 40 or 45 TB. But about 8 TB is cloned, I have copies of my favorite titles, on different disks.
I don't use any software to catalog, so I speak from memory. 70% of my collection is 2023 and 2024 titles. The other 30%, between 2020 and 2022. Before 2020 I barely keep a dozen titles of actresses already retired.
I don't know which studio will be the largest, but it is certainly not KMP.... Until 2022 I did have quite a few, but when Yazawa Receiver invented the face-to-face missionary in 2022, for me automatically all movies before that date were automatically outdated, and I deleted 80% of them. KMP uses this angle very little, or when they use it, it's only 3 minutes or is very slow, so I have almost nothing from KMP.
The studio I have the most movies is one of this: SOD VR, Unfinished VR, Moodyz or Kawaii VR. Surely SOD VR wins, because after KMP it is the one that has launched the most titles in VR (around 1,700) and it is also one of the pioneers of the format, it started in 2018 or 2019.
Since the 8K versions exist, I don't download or watch anything in 4K anymore. In the last year 100% is 8K. Luckily all the studios are already releasing in 8K, although the download sites only release the expired 4K versions....

For people with a good PC and who want to play the most powerful games without compressed video or middleware that eats 2 GB of video memory, as happens with Quest, and want to apply supersampling and MSAA to VR porn to improve the definition, this Black Friday PS VR2 is reduced to 399 euros / dollars. Plus 60 euros / dollars that costs the adapter to the PC.
I use them on PC and I am very happy with them, I have stopped using the Reverb G2 (I sold them). Although PS VR2 have a little less resolution, their brutal brightness and OLED screen makes up for it, the girls have more natural skin and the higher brightness gives realism to the porn, it looks like you are under natural light, not watching a video. They also have higher FOV than Quest 3 and Reverb G2, that increases the immersion.
Another advantage over Quest 2 and Quest 3S is that it has hardware IPD, you can move the lenses to place them exactly in the center of your eyes. The aforementioned Quests only have 3 lens positions, if your eyes don't fit there, you're screwed.
Their only bad point is that they have some mura, inevitable in an OLED screen, like a layer of dirt that you only see in dark scenes. In VR porn, as there is a lot of illumination, it is not noticeable.
Because it uses fresnel lenses the sweet spot is smaller than Quest 3, but it is big enough to find it easily, and it has a good clamping system so that the glasses do not move.

NOTE: Eye-tracking and HDR don't work on PC, only PS5.

Crystal is now also releasing 8k on Afesta with the same limited 30% off promo that VRKM had in the beginning. The releases I checked have 80mbits/s.


Sounds good but as it is with JAV VR every good news comes with a bad one... I noticed that they now start to reduce bitrates of older releases. E. g. the 8k version on 3DSVR-1417 has a reduced bitrate at FANZA level.


So to every owner of Afesta high bitrate releases: never ever delete them and make backups if you care about picture quality!

Edit: it's just an error on the A Festa website. The numbers shown under "File Size" are just wrong. Most releases still have 80mbits/s.

Great!!! In general I don't really like Crystal VR titles, but those “girlfriend experience” type ones are pretty cool. There are 2 or 3 that I really like, if they are at 80 Mbps on A Festa I'm going to buy them....

Sounds good but as it is with JAV VR every good news comes with a bad one... I noticed that they now start to reduce bitrates of older releases. E. g. the 8k version on 3DSVR-1417 has a reduced bitrate at FANZA level.

Do not trust the sizes of the 8K versions listed on the A Festa sheets, they are all wrong. They always show a smaller size than the real one. For example I have 3DSVR-1417, I downloaded it again as a test, and it's still at 100 Mbps... In fact the 8K version is 53 GB, although the description says 11.8 GB.

From what I've checked, it looks like a studio decision. All the SOD VR movies are now at 80 Mbps (the first ones at 100 Mbps), the ones at 50 Mbps are the last ones of VRKM (the first ones at 80 Mbps).

Do not trust the sizes of the 8K versions listed on the A Festa sheets, they are all wrong. They always show a smaller size than the real one. For example I have 3DSVR-1417, I downloaded it again as a test, and it's still at 100 Mbps...

So confusing. Im certain than in the case of 3DSVR-1417 it displayed a bigger filesize before. Have you ever bought a release when it showed a small filesize and than it was bigger when downloading? Maybe you still have access to the higher bitrate version because you bought it earlier...

Have you ever bought a release when it showed a small filesize and than it was bigger when downloading?

All the 8K SOD VR titles I've bought at A Festa (and there are about 10 or 12), all had the size of the 8K version wrong when I bought them. It says 10-15 GB and then it takes up 40 or 50 GB. I don't remember once getting it right, although I don't usually look at it because as I say, it's always wrong. I've tried downloading 2 or 3 random scenes from different titles, and they're all at 80-100 Mbps.

I believe that people are complaining that their 8K movies take up too much. I think the best solution is what SexLikeReal does: two 8K versions, one with the highest uncompressed quality, and one compressed....

I bought the 8K version of IPVR-289 and, WOW, Yakuno Marina has impressed me. Strangely, she is more attractive in VR than in flat. She acts pretty good for her first VR, but what I liked the most is the way she moans, it's quite sensual and sincere.
And her boobs are amazing..:




Unfinished VR should learn from Idea Pocket how to shoot a “girlfriend experience” VR..... Plus it's pretty intimate, there are front and rear sex positions.
If you like this kind of movies, highly recommended.

I edited my original post. A Festa is just displaying wrong file sizes. So no issue for now. But you should get your collection in order regardless


AJVR-250 with Azu Amatsuki looks awesome from the previews and trailer. It's shot under a blanket and with director Yazawa Receive this will result in a high immersive release with the girl very close to the camera. Looking forward to it


And Riho Fujimori is back? for another VR with Honnaka (HNVR-144). I think her last VR was in 2022, at least I can only find her in about a hundred spam compilations in the last couple years. Unfortunately for me it's one of those scenarios in a hospital which I usually ignore. But because it's her I try to give this one a chance. It will be most likely her only VR for the next 2-3 years

Azu Amatsuki is my favorite actress right now. I watched her yesterday in CRVR-335, my favorite VR from Crystal VR. Not only do I think she's pretty, but she has a lovely smile, she's very giggly, and she has a great body.
That Alice Japan title looks interesting. The covering herself with the sheet thing doesn't appeal to me too much, but being so close to Azu, yes....

Honnaka's VRs have never interested me. This one at least has a close missionary, but in hospital and all the time with clothes, I'll pass. I hope they keep the close missionary when they release a VR with Kasui Jun....

Yesterday I bought three 8K titles from Crystal VR at A Festa, now that they are at 80 Mbps. One of them I had already bought at Fanza, but it's like going from DVD to blu-ray.

I don't know how people will see it, because I don't see hardly anyone complaining about the low bitrate of the 8K versions on Fanza. I guess using Quest, it won't make much difference.. But with the system I use, playing the VRs at 16K, and applying a MSAA filter for more definition and clarity, the difference is very noticeable.

With the Fanza bitrates at 10-15 Mbps, the image gets dirty from 30 or 40 centimeters away (viewing it in 3D). With A Festa's 80 Mbps, it does not blur at any time. I no longer watch video, it's like watching without wearing a headset... Night and day.

Call me boring, but these are the three titles I bought. Who can resist a “girlfriend experience” with three gorgeous and loving girls, with real-life image quality?

By the way, not all VRs at 80 Mbps looks the same. These Crystal VR ones look better than the 2 or 3 VRKM ones I bought. I guess it's because they use different cameras or setup.

I agree with what you say about Azu Amatsuki. But the Crystal releases with her looked rather mediocre to me and the Kawaii release was a huge disapointment. So I think AJVR-250 could be her first great VR. Because of the confined space that they have to work with under the blanket it is certain that most angles will be intense/with a short distance. I can't think of an example because this scenario is rare but if the director is capable (which he is) I think a fun release is bound to happen.

I hope they keep the close missionary when they release a VR with Kasui Jun....

The difference between 15-25 mbits and 80 mbits is clearly visible on the Quest 3, even on Quest 2.

Nothing against 'boring' GFE in general, it's also my favorite. But for some reason I can't get into these Crystal releases. I think it's because they are always exactly the same. This is true for all studios to a certain degree but with Crystal they take it to a new level. Like the absolute same location/room every time, the same angles on the same bed in the beginning, even the breakfast with this bland salad (who eats like that, not even dressing?)...

Hikaru having her coffee with milk is the biggest difference here

But speaking of 'boring' GFE releases. I enjoyed 3DSVR-1616 and 3DSVR-1641. They were very well done I think. In the past few weeks SOD is becoming one of my favorite studios What is going on...
