Slightly off-topic: I remember a post somewhere on the web of which stars they wish would have had their content shot during the era of HD. Now, for VR I surely wish my favorites would come back, no matter their age now (pretty much). Rio Hamasaki, Miki Sato, Chinami Sakai, Mari Hosokawa, Chisato Shosa...I could go on!

Okay, back on topic. Be on the lookout for more titles I got during the sale. Thanks to all other contributors to this thread!! Amazing work, all of you! (...and some said VR was a gimmick like 3D movies. Look at us now!)

I will play a movie and focus on that to see if there is something I didn't see last time but I think everything played without any problem.

It should be pretty obvious when you look around. Maybe you have a much newer setup that has better specs? I figured if SamVR can play things smoothly, it shouldn't be a hardware issue, but rather software. I guess Skybox just didn't optimize it to work well with earlier phones.

Dude, they have Tupac as a hologram. CGI will only get better, so maybe some day in the distant future computers can just scan old videos and have them render in VR. Imagine dead, retired, and active JAV stars in their prime all VR'd up.

Interesting concept! I like. Kind of like what they do now for "3D" movies that were shot traditionally and then converted to 3D.

VR Kanojo is nice but very very short. Just a linear non-story with barely any interaction even though we have touch controllers, after that access to 6 h-positions with the option to change the clothing on the female. The female character is well made but I've spent way more time in Honey Select (Studio) with Eusth's VR mod then in VR Kanojo.

I tried again yesterday with a new video and I didn't see a difference between the two players. I have a Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.

So are the h265 downloads DRM-free? The $0 ones appear to be as I can play them fine in VLC and DeoVR. The "Rift" versions have DRM and can only be played in that crappy player, its much nicer running the normal MP4's in DeoVR for Rift. I missed the sale because the timer said it had 1 day left, I got on Sunday ready to buy a couple videos but the sale was over. Was that their only sale or do they do that a lot? At 10 bucks each I may just bite the bullet and do a monthly pass even though I just want a few vids.

oh, I didnt try the iPhone version, that one says normal h264, both work fine on PC. Not sure which one is higher quality since I just have a low res DK2.

Thanks for the uploads! About a year ago I wasnt impressed with the state of VR video and stopped looking for it, decided to try it again and its so damn real now. The old stuff I managed to find back then was distorted and the scale made them look like giants, wasnt worth it. The new stuff from Afesta is amazing, distortion is fine, scale seems spot on, it only gets messed up when they get really close to the sides of the camera.

was hoping to at least grab these 2 during the sale:

Maybe something like this, except no need for motion cap actors, just directly scanned from old footage, and life like CGI.

Which exactly did play and which did not? Do they just not play or do they get stuck at some point?

Which exactly did play and which did not? Do they just not play or do they get stuck at some point?

among those i downloaded in this thread.
the ones that did play are:
KVR1704-15 Rena Aoi
miti016-018_3dv

and the one that did not play are:
KVR1705-34 Erika Kitagawa
KVR1707-22

those who did play have no problem at all, while the 2 that did not play shows distored screen with colorful lines, only the audio played.

unfortunately handbrake did not work. i tried converting KVR1705-34 and KVR1707-22 with handbrake, and when i tried to open the video with Littlstar the video stuck at loading forever and wont start. even Playstation media player still says it not supported format.

anyway, Playstation media player do not support SBS or OU VR videos. its VR mode only stretch any video into 360. So Littlstar is the preferred app in PS4 to play VR videos
