Immersive 3D Content and Enthusiasts (oh boy...)

Just got myself a Vive a week ago for my birthday to complement my 2017 gaming rig.

Tried a VR porn video (non-JAV) for the first time and I was blown away and now I discovered this amazing thread.

Torrents would be appreciated though because FJ download speeds for me have been horrendous.

This is a x264 re-encode from the TB version (2160px×2160px) which didn't play well on daydream for some reason. (Just checked again, H.265 files from other users play fine. :\)

I'm probably not the first one to notice: on the AFesta site you can use the inspect feature of your browser on one of the sample pictures to find the product number and eventually a part the download file name.

Final note: The non-TB H.264 files (what ever TB is, apparently not Top Bottom) AFesta offers so far are baseline(!) encoded for some reason. So even if it's an older 1600×1600px only file, you should get the better quality file (main or high profile) and convert it if possible. That's why some files look really terrible, they are encoded with very low settings which most people avoided in programs like Handbrake for years. It doesn't make much sense from my point of view to offer such quality for the lowest and oldest hardware. Here is the command I use for conversion, let me know if anyone of you has problems with these settings:

D'oh, final note after the final note: use spatial-media if you want to inject proper meta data, now we just need players that treat this data consistently.

Uploading to various file hosters just to have the links taken down quickly after would have been very tedious for me too. I wanted to share these files for a few weeks now, but never got to it, then saw Casshern2's upload of tma014-015 and thought now or never just start with the other Rei title even if it's not perfect. Hope the format is sufficient now to find the title in the AO and the corresponding product page.

does anyone have issues with afesta pictures loading?
I always have to use a proxy/vpn to get the pictures to load o_O
 
weird... everytime I load the page, the images and video previews are either black or have the broken image logo on it

I used to have that problem. My antivirus would pop up every time I went to that page blocking the .jpgs. Not sure why, but it's working for me now.

Which ones are you looking at? All the ones so far Casshern have up here have the lower 1600x1600 resolution. The 2100x2100 resolution look a little sharper to me, but then again, I don't have a vive, but a note phone.

I've owned the Oculus DK2 which was 1080p and couldn't enjoy video content, the screen-door-effect was too pronounced and resolution too low. Now I regularly watch VR porn on my S7+GearVR and/or Oculus Rift. It's not perfect but it's good enough. The way video's are produced has been improved upon as well though. You'll notice a difference for sure between 108op and QHD. If 108op is good enough for you, I don't know. My advice would be to try and find a good deal on a used S7+GearVR now that the S8 is close to launching.
