After much consideration, i would say mine is Code Geass (there are better out there, but they weren't finished or were so off with the manga that it ruined it for me)

I bet this one hasn't been mentioned but:
BECK (The Mongolian Chop Squad), is an under appreciated anime, but in my opinion it just rawks. Ofcourse you'll get people saying 'the manga is better' ... they may be right, but I LOVE the anime, and it's the only anime I've been able to actually watch twice and still be moved :)

Hi all..
I'M old school. I'm going to name 3 anime that defines anime and change it (for the better.)

1:Akira -That's a no brainier..
2:Battle Angel Alita - The art is solid, and if you don't feel a little remorse at the end, your heart is dead.
3:Ninja Scroll -This has to be my favorite. Swords, Slaughter, and a little love loss, makes for a good anime.

I've given my 2 cents.

I know it's so typical but I'm gonna have to go with Cowboy Bebop. Cowboy Bebop was the first anime series that really got me hooked and into anime.

Was Hellsing Ultimate just a remake or a new series all together?

more like a remake though don't quote me on that one, but from what i got it followed the manga more then the other one did. plus the art is waaaay better :hero:

so what anime do you claim as the all time fav?

for me would have to be Guyver, and not the old one ether, guess its just that sort of weird story that comes along once in a blue moon :evillaugh:

another one is Berserk, kind of did the reverse on that one and watched the anime before i started to collect the manga because i thought the end was a little bit of a cliff hanger and i'm hoping that it fills in some holes.

These are my top and current favs...

that gatchaman pic is awesome!

for the series i'd say:

Claymore (no more seasons? it ended so meh.)
Bakemonogatari (the art is stunning and the ep 12's end is just too emotional)
Gundam 00 (don't kill me please..)
Gintama (funny, but i get bored after some 15 eps)

OAV:

GITS: Innocence (state of the art)
Hurricane Polymar Holy Blood (why WHY don't they remake the old one with a new style?)

Wasted Potential:

Persona Trinity Soul (A LOT of potential)
Sengoku Basara (entertaining, but what is it?)

i also have high hopes for the new DTB series, but i can't judge after just 2 eps...
