Oh nice, we are talking about THE ANGLE

It's weird and I don't see any patterns. The same directors do the crappy angle and the next title they use the close missionary and so on. Not sure how they decide when to use what. In 2025 they had some exceptions in which the angle was included:

CRVR-357 (Shiina Koharu ; nice GFE, I wonder if the actress is already retired? No title from her for months. It would be a shame)
CRVR-368 (Kitaoka Karin ; imo the most immersive Crystal VR of 2025, has some sex scenes under the blanket which dosen't include the missionary)
CRVR-370 (Aiga Mizuki ; this angle is a bit off, to me still acceptable and you can't go wrong with her)
CRVR-374 (Itsuha ; lot's of parts with clothes which is the reason I haven't bought it but the missionary is great)
CRVR-382 (Shishido Riho ; solid GFE and the missionary is pretty nice)

Of course that's only 5 out of around 40 titles for this year. I haven't checked those with clothes in all scenes but the tend to not include this angle. Btw. most of these titles are 50% off right now on A Festa. For those who care about picture quality it's a big upgrade compared to the usually crappy Fanza bitrate.

Ah, I guess I don't mind as much as I tend to favor F2F cowgirl. And I actually enjoy their setup and consistent plot. You can pretty much expect they will start a relax video with the girl lying with you in bed. There will also be a flirting no-sex scene where you're just doing something together while chatting (something i actually enjoy) and you can pretty much count on there being a bathing scene as well which I also like.

They are also a very consistent source of seifuku cosplay. This is something I can appreciate haha.

I recommend checking out LADA, a new free mosaic removal tool.
I've been experimenting with some short VR clips and it's looks much better than solutions I've seen before. It's not made with VR in mind so sometimes it has trouble detecting the mosaic. Seems like it works best when mosaic is close to the center of the screen, in full view.
With a 4070 GPU and 32GB of RAM, I'm exporting 10fps for 4k video. 8k seems a lot slower, but it's definitely possible.

It's definitely worth checking out. The results are not perfect - there are some visual artefacts and the effect is a bit blurry, but its still pretty cool. Unfortunately i wasn't able to export any 8k videos, seems like that's beyond my PC's capabilities. But i can definitely see myself going back to some older favourites to enhance them

I've done some quick tests with Lada, the app that removes the mosaics that @Itsabiggapepperoni has posted, and I'm quite impressed, considering that it's free, that the AI works locally, and that it's quite fast.
It's also very easy to use, you don't have to do anything: you select the file, one of the two AIs, export, and that's it.

As Itsabiggapepperoni says, artifacts occur, or sometimes the mosaic comes and goes, but under ideal conditions (medium distance or close-up, without much movement, and with the hand or penis no intervening), it looks pretty good:





It completely respects the shape and details of the original (more or less hair, shaved, etc.). The definition is almost the same as the original, slightly blurrier, but very little. It fails more when the mosaic is far away or very close.
The good thing about it is that it doesn't alter the image quality; it keeps it the same. Unfortunately, it lowers the bitrate. I tried it with a video at 180 Mbps, and it reduced it to 80 Mbps.

It also works with blowjobs. This is an 8K video with V4-Accurate AI. It turned out pretty well, the tongue and fingers blend perfectly in motion:



For some reason, some scenes look quite good, and others that are almost identical look very bad.

The speed depends a lot on the amount of mosaic there is, and the size. With my 4070 Ti Super and AI V4-Fast, I get between 13 and 20 fps at 4K, meaning that a one-minute video takes between 3 and 5 minutes. At 8K, it stays between 8 and 10 fps. It looks slightly sharper.
AI V4-Accurate is between 40 and 60% slower, but it creates fewer visual artifacts and blends better with the original video. That's the one I'm going to use.

Although there is still a long way to go, when it works well, the results are great. I will do more tests.

Unfortunately i wasn't able to export any 8k videos

I've had good results at 8K. It's probably because of the VRAM. The 4070 has 12 GB and the 4070 Ti Super has 16 GB.

Hello, lurker here. I've been trying Lada myself and found something else useful. Someone else named zelefans made their own tool that uses lada to decensor made specifically for VR videos. IDK the rules about links but if you lookup zelefans and vr_mosaic_removal you'll find it. If it's allowed I can send the link. But I was having issues with lada with most of the time the mosaic detection was only detecting one side of the video. The extra thing that person made cuts the video into left and right sides and decensors them both and stitches them back together. It's just annoying because you have to install ffmpeg and some python library but I was able to get it working. I've only tested one video and am currently testing another one and it seems to be a lot better. The only other issue I've had is sitting scenes where the mosaic is at the bottom of the screen and it doesn't detect it, but the zelefans apparently has another thing than just the one-click mode it has but I haven'f figured it out yet.

I just put all the files from it into the lada folder with the lada exe and lada cli thing. What version of lada are you using? I was using 0.10 and it wasn't working but I went back to 0.92 and stopped getting whatever error it was. I do still randomly get errors but I just click the processing button and it usually works. Hopefully this helps.

Believe it or not, when I read the question, I couldn't answer it because I haven't even tried it on the headset. I took a look in 2D, saw that there are no face-to-face positions, and deleted it...
Not only that, but the movie is boring, and like the previous one, the sex scenes are 20 minutes at the end. The first scene is a blowjob where you don't see anything. The second is a cowgirl with the actor lying down, 1 meter away, and 10 minutes of stupid sex toys.
The third is a cowgirl with the actor lying down AGAIN, a doggie, and a distant missionary with the actor on his knees, without lying down. Not a single scene less than 1 meter away.

I was hoping it had been shot with the giant girls' camera, because that would mean it was from the previous batch, but no, I downloaded a scene again and it's the normal camera. That means they're mixing immersive movies with crap. Now I'm anxiously waiting for them to release a debut with a top actress, or another one with Remu, and it'll be another piece of crap like this.

Well, I've tried Zelefans VR Mosaic Remove Tool, the VR version of the Lada AI that @Horseless mentioned, and it's quite a bit better than the original Lada.
Lada is an AI for 2D videos, and it gets a little messy with VR movies, as there are two images with two mosaics (four if you can also see the penis).

Since it's open source, Zelafans has optimized it for VR. What his app does is cut the video to separate the left eye from the right, run the AI separately on each eye, and then join both videos back together. It takes a little longer, but the results are much better: there are fewer visual artifacts, and the image is more stable.

This is a distant blowjob, which Lada has trouble with (the image is zoomed in), but with Zelefans it looks much better:




The fingers do not distort the pussy, as sometimes happens with Lada:



To use it, you have to copy the Zelefans files into the Lada folder. But be careful, version Lada 0.9.3, not the current 0.10, which doesn't work well (that's what happened to me, thanks Horseless).

It turns out that Lada only works well with movies that have square pixel mosaics (Moodyz, S1, Idea Pocket, and a few others). Studios such as SAVR, SOD, Unfinished, and others use a different type of mosaic, which causes problems for Lada.
Zenefans tries to fix this with an option to manually mark the mosaic with a rectangle, to make it easier for the AI. With VRs from the first group, the One Click option works well: you select the file, and that's it. For the rest, if One Click doesn't work, use the option to manually mark the mosaic.
There is also an option to cut out the scene where the mosaic is, remove it, and reinsert that scene into the original video, but it doesn't work for me; the image freezes.

In short, it's worth using this VR-optimized version of Lada, it's much better.

Hm... I tried the One Click option for a test segment of KAVR-465 and it looks like me results don't quite match from what I've seen what you guys have. Not too happy about the first results. RTX 3070 here.

... but the remainder of the video was more like this blurry, distorted pink blob.


Is there something I'm missing or is this intended? I patched the VR mosaic tool to support lada 0.10 so I might try 0.9 later. I've also tried this "Area Selection VR to Flat Mosaic Removal" option that attempts to account for distorted mosaics, but I got pretty much same results (I think this one doesn't have distorted mosaics in the first place)

I did another test with a different segment. To me, it seems like fingers or other objects partially blocking the genitals can make lada produce inaccurate results.

Not too happy about the first results. RTX 3070 here.

The best results are obtained when what is behind the mosaic is still. If there's interaction with fingers and penises, everything gets a little blurred. It works very well on the outside of the vagina, but the pink zone is more blurred.
It also depends on the type of mosaic. With Idea Pocket, Moodyz, and S1 films, it's quite acceptable; it seems to detect what's underneath better. With VRKM, SAVR, SOD, and others, it works worse. With Unfinished, it does nothing at all. I haven't tried it with Kawaii yet.

As a starting point, it's great, but it still has room for improvement.

It's not just you. They are on the winter break now so most likely it will take some weeks before they fix it.

I haven't bought anything from TMAVR in 8K, but I have slight (very slight) hopes for this title:

Oh my, what a positive surprise! Just watched it and I can't believe that this is produced by TMA.

Marumo Rea is your new stepsister and a total tease from the first minute. As soon as the parent move to a different table she is all over you and with that cleavage and awesome dress who could resist? Also her boobs fall out pretty quickly because the dress is way too tight, nice



Next is a titjob in the bathroom. For those that have seen a couple TMAVR titles might recognize this place. I think they have used this in dozens of titles before. Again the camera is placed just right and close to Rea who gives you a 'massage' that you will never forget


After that it's all sex scenes with a little teasing upfront. This segment is just fire with great angles and they even include stuff like kissing in most angles and some salvia from Rea which I can't remember ever seing in a TMAVR.


My favorite angle of TMAVR-265 is this one. Yep, that's how you showcase a busty and curvy girl in VR! S1 should learn from this and copy it. This angle even has same variety in which she moves back and forth and so on.


Finally the fun concludes with a seated cowgirl and missionary which (again) hit just right. Imo this is also by far Rea's best performance. She is totally locked in to the camera at all times.


I wonder who the director is. I doubt it's the usual TMA guy, this must be some pro that they hired just for this title and it shows. To me this is by far the best VR TMAVR has ever made. Highly recommend for fans of busty girls.

I started watching it, until I realized they were plastic breasts. So I stop it and deleted it. Luckily, I didn't buy it. I'm never going to buy blindfolded again, after what happened with Prestige.
As you say, technically the VR is great. I hope TMA continues along these lines, although I doubt it.
