Yes, she was insanely cute back then. The reason for her break that I have seen is that she couldn't handle some negative / mean reviews.

Her acting in VR was always very good, even back in 2017/2018. She has a good instinct on how to work with the VR camera.

Too bad all of her earlier VR titles were made with ancient camera tech. They are blurry, low res, static and they feel choppy with the 30fps. I think her earlier titles are too bad to begin with that any AI model could fix these issues. I will try it anyways with 1 or 2 titles of hers just out of curiousity but I don't expect much.

Also in terms of angles and camera distance these titles are extremly outdated from todays standards. JAV VR has come a long way since then with all these improvements that we take for granted now.

I don't know how you keep bothering to look at the file sizes at A Festa..... I've been shopping there for years and have yet to see one that's right.....

Well because I have bought a title in the past under the exact assumptions you are mentioning. It showed 50mbits on the storefront and I thought it must be a mistake and well I bought it and the title had 50mbits... Now for this title I can't even complain to the A Festa support because I got exactly what was advertised. These issues only exist for KMP titles. SOD and Crystal always have a higher bitrate but KMP VRs are all over the place on A Festa. So yes, they make too many mistakes and are inconsistent. They should just show the correct filesize on their damn website.

There's no way Saika and Nana look ugly, but the hairdressers tried their best.....
Usually the hairstyles and makeup in VR movies is worse than in 2D movies, or at least they spend less time on it. Or maybe it's that as in VR we see the girls 10 centimeters from our eyes, and life-size, it's reality. But in the case of those hairstyles, I think the level has dropped a lot.

+The 10 titles you liked the most.

First those that some of you have already mentioned:

URVRSP-403 Rika Yumeri - Pretty light femdom theme here, but this innocent looking girl acting dominant drove me nuts. Multiple creampies, great eye contact

Good one. Normally not my kind of fetish. But I was also sold on how well it was made with perfect pacing, constant eye contact like you say and the camera always very close. Also Rika Yumeri's teasing with her feet was on another level, awesome

#1 HNVR-152 - Kasui Jun

HNVR-152 Jun Kasui - Happy to see her back, and the scene was excellent

The one release we will all agree on. My only complains are the picture quality and that they decided to call you "Taro", why? Everything else about this release was flawless including the much improved acting of Kasui Jun.

On to some more releases
3DSVR-1652 with Satsuki Ena

I include this release mainly for one simple reason: to me it had the best missionary of 2025 besides maybe HNVR-152.

Of course Ena is great as always, the rest of the title is solid and it is on A Festa which is a plus for me. Please SOD, do more movies like this.

JUVR-217 with Mariko Sata

Her last JAV title, Mariko has retired but she left with a banger. The story was very interesting, bascially it merges fiction with reality in which you as a fan enjoys some quality time with her for the last time. She also talks about her "private" life which is more or less the extension of her career after JAV. The persona Mariko seems to life on after her retirement. For example she has a bar in which you can meet and talk with her privately. Interesting but weird. Apparently she makes good money like this with domestic and international fans and as far as I understand it it's just talking but you pay by the hour

Anyways back to JUVR-217, yes it also had sex scenes and they were near perfect. Her acting was stellar, it had all the angles you could ask for and the picture quality was great. At the end she even got emotional and I fully believe it. The perfect farwell.


JUVR-209 with Maki Hojo

I could've picked any of the very similar releases of this studio like JUVR-212 or JUVR-213. Madonna is by far the most consistent studio at the moment. It take place in this spa/resort in which you enjoy the company of a beautiful mature married woman and bump into her by accident. All of these releases are super well made, awesome fantasy, great acting, good angles and the picture quality is decent which is a rarity for Fanza studios. I hope Madonna keeps it up and we get more releases like this in 2025.

+Best actress of the quarter

Maybe too early to tell because most actresses have one or zero releases so far. If I had to choose it would be Koharu Shiina simply because she has two releases that I liked, 3DSVR-1690 and CRVR-357.

+Best new actress

3DSVR-1697 with Ema Yano

For me the best debut of 2025 which also concludes the best new actress category. The release is not perfect with the unnecessary part 2 with extra filler material. For the sex scenes it also had segments in which the camera is too far away for my liking. But Ema Yano's performance is excellent, she is also very pretty and the rest of the release is good. I hope we will see more of her soon.

+The surprise: A VR that you did not expect, and that has surprised you.

Best gimmick of 2025 so far was in URVRSP-405 in which you make the shower see-through with a remote

Maybe no one else cares about this but I really appreciate small details like that. It does matter if the creator puts in some extra effort and tries to make more than just gonzo porn. Thanks Yazawa Receive.

+The big disappointment: a title you were looking forward to, and it was a disaster.

As I have said many times before it is not a specific release but still the overall picture quality of many of the Fanza release. Especially for those releases of the """""premium"""" studios S1, Moodyz, Idea Pocket and Kawaii. It's also the reason that I have not a single title from these studios in my list. For that reason I have deleted countless titles from them because it completely breaks the immersion for me. The only exception I have made was with HNVR-152. If a title is like a 8/10 for me but it has a bitrate of 8-12mbits it drops to a mediocre level like 3 to 5/10 and it is hard to watch. It looks more like a twitch stream and not a 8k premium release. It helps a little bit if the camera is very close but even in these cases it is often not enough. To me it would make a huge difference if they at least release it with 20mbits like Unfinished which is not ideal but acceptable and not too distracting.

+Wishes for the rest of the year.

The movie is immersive, Ena is wonderful and the missionary is technically perfect. But I don't like the actor showing his hands, let alone covering the actress' hands:



If he only does it a little bit I can accept it, but if the scene culminates with the actor like that, I don't like it. I know that that position is difficult for him, but other actors do it well. Hands on the sides of the shoulders, or on the waist, or the girl's arms covering his.
I don't remember if the scene culminated like this, it's just that when I watched the photo, it came to my memory.

JUVR-217 with Mariko Sata

Perfect VR, perfect woman, and perfect farewell. JUVR-209 is great, too. Madonna VR is the best studio in the last year, together with Idea Pocket. But Madonna takes great care of the scenary, and it has a script.

3DSVR-1697 with Ema Yano

She is great. I hesitated between her and the one I have posted.
By the way, just today SOD announced another VR with Ema Yano, but it's with soaps and oils.... It's SOD VR, two movies of an actress to like is almost impossible with this studio. Be thankful they haven't r***ing her yet or add her in a f***rced sex VR... (It won't take long).

Oh, that's a great input, thank you. I like these details too, and they are happening less and less. Big studios like S1, Moodyz, Idea Pocket, they don't do hardly any introductions anymore, they go straight to sex, like in the west. Those kind of shots like the one in the shower are great in VR, they add ambience and realism. Of course, Yazawa Receive. It's the only one that tries to do different things, although 2 or 3 years ago he did much more.

20mbits for KAVR, SIVR, HNVR, IPVR and MDVR releases. That's it.

It's a pity that we are so defeated with the image quality of Fanza, that we settle for 20 Mbps, which is the minimum of the minimum in VR....

Sorry for the delay, this weekend I had an unexpected compromise and I have not been able to make the list. In the end it is a mix of what you have selected. Either we have similar tastes or the difference between the 3 or 4 big VR studios and the rest is abysmal. Probably the latter.

BEST VRs OF Q1 2025

10 - VRKM-1502 Amatsuki Azu


Only Amatsuki Azu can make a mediocre studio shine. Give her a ball and weights, tell her “do gymnastics,” and she turns something conventional into a party. Her giggles and laughter make anyone's day. She is joy personified.
Plus she has a great body, and this is VRKM's “pink line”, which almost always has all the face-to-face positions, so good movie.

9 - DSVR-1697 with Ema Yano


Petite and with a body with curves in place, with a beautiful smile and a soft voice, Ema Yano is a wonderful woman in the wrong studio. She is a former TV presenter and you can tell she knows how to act in front of the camera. The movie is a "girlfriend experience", one of the few made by SOD. It hurts because when they want to, they make great VRs.

8 - JUVR-217 with Sada Mariko


Madonna treats her actresses like queens, at least when it comes to shooting VR. Detailed and lavish sets, solid scripts, and perfect goodbyes.
Sada Mariko retires with this VR, and you can't ask for more. There's a bar chat with her, mega-immersive face-to-face scenes, and even tears of emotion at the end. S1, Moodyz and company need to learn (where is the farewell VR of my dear Yura Kano, S1? Ungrateful!).
Shame to see her go, a beautiful mature woman with the best teeth I've ever seen (not that I judge women by their teeth, like horses. It's just that I admire perfect natural teeth).

7 - IPVR-291 with Momo Sakura


Momo Sakura never fails. When you watch a VR with her, you know she's going to devour you. She sticks to you like a limpet and kisses you, licks you, hugs you, and has sex with you in every position. As with Mayuki Ito, the years go by and she gets more beautiful every day, and with a perfect body. One of the most immersive actresses out there.

6 - SIVR 401 with Kiyohara Miyu


Miyu still needs to improve her acting, but she has improved a lot. Not only she is so beautiful and has dark green eyes, which is rare for Japanese women, but her amazing tits are to die for in 3D.
The script is boring but the sex is immersive, so straight to the top.

5 - VRKM 1482 and VRKM 1483 with Shizuki Koharu


Not that she's particularly pretty or has a particularly sexy body, but Shizuki Koharu is the only actress who has ever gotten me to watch a movie where the girl doesn't take her clothes off. Those coy looks avoiding the camera while biting her lips, that voice that is barely a whisper, her sideways glances that are saying “I'm so embarrassed, but do whatever you want to me”, turn me on so much....
Strangely she always makes extreme or full-clothing movies, so these two VRKM titles with nudity and face-to-face missionary, no weird stuff, are a treasure.

4 - KAVR-401 with Ito Mayuki


Until a little over a year ago, I had never been attracted to this actress. But she has reached a maturity in her beauty and acting that has made her a star.
This movie is 140 minutes without dialogue. Just the sounds of sex, Ito's moans, and her awesome body 20 centimeters from yours, in all sorts of immersive positions. Who needs dialogue?

3 - SIVR-394 with Kawakita Saika


The script is dull, the scenery is bland, Saika wears a terrible hairstyle, she is more absent than usual. It's not her best VR, but watching Saika take off her panties 20 centimeters away from you, and then having sex in immersive face-to-face positions with one of the most beautiful women on this planet, is a privilege we mere mortals don't deserve.
S1 should be ashamed to make a VR with this goddess with such a bad script, with that hairstyle, and with an image quality to cry for.

2 - MDVR-342 Yagi Nana


Moodyz is killing me this 2025 with its technical problems, with Ibuki and Rena big-headed and gigantic, with its movies full of clothes, two years without a decent VR with Mio, debuts less and less immersive.... There's a reason why there's only one movie of them on my list. But an unclothed face-to-face missionary with the gorgeous Yagi Nana almost makes up for it all. Almost.
Nana and Saika are two of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen in my life, in and out of porn....

1 - HNVR-152 - Kasui Jun


The number 1 movie that we all agree on... This is not a movie, it's a conjunction of planets. Something that only happens once in a lifetime.
First Kasui Jun comes back years after retiring. And she comes back knowing how to act...
Then, that Hon Naka shoots a VR without clothes, there must be 5 or 6 like that in the more than 150 they have shot. Plus they shoot a face-to-face missionary... That the two things come together, I think this is the second or third... In other words, a conjunction of planets.

Kasui Jun looks gorgeous, the story is silly but doesn't interfere with the sex scenes, and Jun is mega interactive, not like her previous VRs. Plus mega immersive camera angles, all the positions.... From Hon Naka??!! In other words, a miracle.

The surprise: SIVR.-402 with Isida Karen


I'm not really attracted to girls who are too skinny, and Isida Karen is one of the skinniest I've ever seen. But I was surprised by this actress. The hairstyle doesn't suit her, she looks prettier in her 2D movies, but I already talked about that further back....
Her perfect smile, her kind voice, her perfect acting in front of the camera (you can tell she's an ex-idol), her immaculate pearly skin on par with Kasui Jun.... I found her very attractive in the end. And the movie is immersive and has all the positions, so it could have entered my Top 10 perfectly.

The disaster: SIVR-388 with Miho Nana



This stab wound is still stuck in my back. Months waiting for a VR with Miho Nana. The previous VRs were garbage. Almost two years without a decent VR with her. And S1 does THIS. They insert another guy on screen, and you as a stupid voyeur. And when the stupid guy comes out of camera.... HE'S TALKING FOR THE REST OF THE MOVIE.
I'll leave it here, because I'm getting fired up.


Best Actress: Shizuki Koharu



As you have commented, it's hard to choose because in three months few actresses have more than one movie. Ito, Momo, Jun, give a better performance, but I'll stay with Koharu because she has two VRs that I like, and without doing anything, just being herself and showing her shyness, she already excites me like the previous ones.

Best debut: Nomiya An (MDVR-333)


Ema Yano and Isida Karen should also be here, but I have selected Nomina An so as not to repeat. A young girl, very pretty, who is very involved in her debut, and also sweats and has curves that I like. I hope to watch more VR with all three.

Wishes fulfilled in 2025

Welcome pavento. I guess you are covered already with all the recommendations . Unfortuanetely no real filter does exist for fetishes like armpits. I think both shops and the studios could improve in this area. They mostly spam tags, for example when a title has a single kiss they tag it with the "kiss/kiss" category but other titles that have tons of kissing sometimes don't even use the tag. If you really care about certain categories you have to manage your library yourself and add tags. I thing chewbaka uses XBVR in combination with Heresphere and edits the rather meaningless Fanza tags individually.

If you still want to use the Fanza tags the quickest method would be h-vr.net with the "other fetishes" category. But those include many different fetishes, not just armpits so it is hit or miss: https://h-vr.net/tag/その他フェチ

WOW, man, I guess my list doesn't make much sense anymore, because it's going to be almost the same as yours.... In the best of 2024 we coincide very little, but in this one they are almost clones....
Although I see that there are more overlaps of actresses than titles. For example I also have movies of Momo Sakura and Mitani Akari, but other titles...
Unfortunately, although I love her, nothing of Sasaki Saki in my list.... Too many clothes and costumes this year.... I hope for something more realistic and less “porn star” with her, for the rest of the year.
MDVR-332 with Ono Rikka would be in my top as a movie: it's long, immersive, and has the positions I like. And Rikka is very interactive. But, unfortunately, it's late. It would have been perfect in Ono Rikka's pre-surgery days, but now.... I don't know what she's done to her face but she's changed it completely. Unfortunately for the worse. I don't find her attractive anymore. I can't understand what drives one of the most beautiful girls in JAV, to have surgery.

I'm looking forward to this one, I wasn't so keen on SIVR-390 cos her makeup was so heavy as to look very slutty, quite unlike her first 2 VRs where her makeup was more natural. It doesn't look like the makeup artist went all out on her face in this one so this should be good.

Yes it can be annoying. But for this release it is only for a short period. Most of the time the dude isn't interferring with his hands. Otherwise I would not have picked it.

Speaking of angles two recent releases I wanted to quickly mention.

1) URVRSP-435

I liked the angle they were using in which you are in bed side-by-side with the girl. Very immersive.


2) SAVR-620

Mostly it's a typical SAVR with lots of missed potential even though Hikaru Minazuki's acting is great as always. But it had one unique feature and that was the complete absence of the missionary angle. By that I mean that they had 0 seconds of it including the pillow angle, just nothing. Honestly I prefer them not include the angle at all compared what they usually do but it struck me as if they have completely given up on it. Maybe it's just a one off or a new trend for upcoming SAVR releases? We will see.

MDVR-348 April 15

This is a dream cast for me but well, I also don't like the nurse theme. It's also the first VR from Unpai with Moodyz. I hope we get a solo VR with her soon.

It's an angle that I also really like. It was made fashionable by Crystal VR and the rest have copied it. But it was already used by SOD VR in 2019 with Honjou Suzu (3DSVR-440). It's a VR with unique angles, to watch it correctly you literally have to turn your head, as if you were lying in bed.... Take a look at it.

It's SAVR, the worst VR studio. Not because of the movies (Aqua, VR Paradise, Koala... are much worse) but because it has everything to be top, but its movies are mediocrity, they are only made to look at the girl a meter away.
It's a shame because technically they are the best (scenery, lighting, image quality) and then their movies are boring without immersion.
I say this because they all lack something, don't worry, I've seen at least two or three more without missionary. Here Hikaru Minazuki must have overextended herself with her great performance, they've already filled the 60 minutes, so they cut and that's it, fuck those who expect a missionary...
They release half a million VRs a month, and the vast majority of them are filler, they shoot without interest or passion until they fill 60 / 70 minutes, and then they go on to the next.

I'd argue that while it has some similarities this angle is also different from the ones Crystal is using. It is more focused on the face and the face is closer/more in the center. Both angles have their merrit like the Crystal you can see more from the girls body.

The release is about your sister (why do they have to turn Hikaru into your sister every damn time... ) that is not respecting your personal space and she is too close to you all the time. And it's true for this release, the camera is super close which also includes most of the sex scenes. So even though it is lacking a lot it also has it's upsides. So I would say for Hikaru fans it's still worth a look if you like it close to the camera. To put it differently for SAVR directors having the girl close to the camera is a very weird fetish

Speaking of oil which has ruined so many releases for me in the past and also regarding @Itsabiggapepperoni comment on the lack of big tits releases from S1. He is absolutely right, 2025 in general and not just for S1 was pretty bad for big tits lovers. Besides SIVR-401 I can't remember a good vanilla release from a premium studio. For upcoming releases I'm looking forward to these two

1) URVRSP-444 with "Tsukasa"

It's a debut but no idea who the girl is. She has a nice curvy body, the angles seem solid and a rarity with big tits VRs: no oil.


2) VRKM-1556 with Riho Shishid

I like the actress but have not watched any of her recent VRs because they were all poorly made or not to my taste. This one from Member Miyasako will be very predictable but I think Riho is a good enough actress that it can turn into a decent release.

There were already some good VRs in 2019-2021, with good angles

You had recommended some good ones from 2020 to 2022 before but I'm unable to find well made releases from 2019 or earlier. Feel free to post your favorites.

2025 in general and not just for S1 was pretty bad for big tits lovers

Well, I think S1 has released a few VRs with big boobs en 2025, which are quite good. For example SIVR-397, SIVR-389, or SIVR-406... and they don't have oil.... SIVR-396 is also great, although this one has oil. Or maybe you are talking about Mega boobs...

Unfortunately, looking at the photos, it looks like another one of those VRs with the Invisible Butt Virus that has infected Unfinished, without a single second of butts and backs, where the girl is only seen from the front. So I'll download it but I won't buy it. And yes, we need more chubby girls...
The Riho VR looks good. As you say since she went freelance she has made mediocre VRs, let's see this one. Unfortunately almost all freelancers end up shooting movies with SAVR and VRKM, and 90% are crap. With SAVR, 100%.
