I can kinda understand those fans of full nudity but I'm further on the other side. I think the clothes make the fantasy more real. If it's a school girl scenario, then the uniform keeps the illusion alive. It also adds a sense of urgency, like if it were actually happening in a classroom, she might not have time to fully strip down (although the guy usually has time to take it all off). And if she goes fully nude, then it's just any other video not necessarily within the fantasy so can have some repetitive sameness. If she takes off her clothes completely, then leaving on a token bit like the neck tie is ok.

This applies for most cute or alluring costumes like school uniform, office lady, lingerie, maid, evening gown, etc. but if it's a factory uniform then, I'm all for stripping that off asap.

And for some girls (definitely not including Rena Miyashita or Mio Ishikawa), the clothes help hide a flabby belly or other flaws that can be distracting esp in VR that exposes all the details.

I agree with you here. I quite enjoy the clothed and partially clothed scenes. To me, it adds a bit of realism that's not often found in adult film.

I agree with you here. While I enjoy a lot of the videos with weird themes, the ones with forced or demeaning scenes don't do anything at all for me. I find them repulsive.

Hey Walle, I remember you talking about how you generate subtitles for a lot of releases. I've had very little luck transcribing and translating subtitles myself. I've used a few methods, and they haven't worked out very well. By any chance would you be willing to share some of yours? I know they're not in English, but we could easily translate them using AI. I for one, would really appreciate it!

Well, my subtitles I don't think will work for you, because they're not really subtitles, I've converted them into adaptations.
Since I don't understand any Japanese, beyond the basic words, and most of the plots are with daughters, nieces, mothers and fathers, which is of no use to me, I literally make up the subtitles, completely changing the plots according to my tastes. It's what I talked about a few posts back: in a 2D movie I wouldn't touch the subtitles, but in a VR where the main character is me, I can't have immersion if in the dialogues I'm fucking with my sister or my daughter....

In some of them I have added quite personal things, and also if you know some Japanese, well you can tell it has nothing to do with what they say.... On a personal level it works for me, but although they follow the thread of what happens, most of it is invented.

If you have a very desirable movie that you want with subtitles, and I have it, what I can do is capture the original English subtitles for you, and upload them. But only with a few titles, as a personal favor, as it takes a while.

Anyway, the method I use is easy to apply, and doesn't require much hardware. Did you see it when I posted it a few months ago?

You only have to download Subtitle Edit, which is a free and open source program.

In the Video Menu, choose Audio to text (Whisper). In Language, choose Japanese. In Engine, choose Faster Whisper, which is the fastest and the one that requires the least resources. In Model, it depends on your graphic card. If it has 8 GB of VRAM choose Larger. If it is less, then medium or Tiny. The larger it is, the more accurate the translation is.

You can check Translate to English to translate the subtitles to English. But I recommend not to translate to english, it's better the other method that I am going to tell you about:



It only remains to choose the movies that you want to translate, with Add, and Generate. It generates you a SRT file with the subtitles of the movie in Japanese or English, depending on whether you have checked or not the Translate to English option.

It only remains to open the SRT file with a text editor like Word Pad, copy the text and paste it in DeppL Translator to translate it from Japanese to the language that you want. Without account DeepL Translator only accepts text blocks of 1,500 characters, so you will have to translate the text in pieces, with patience. Paste the translation into the SRT file, and that's it.

EDIT: The user Teiji_ishida has found a better method to translate with DeepL. Thanks! : "I found this site https://www.deepsubtitles.com/ which will automate the translation using DeepL API for you. You have to register a free DeepL API account and paste in your auth key. Then just browse to your srt file, and it instantly translates the whole file for you in a few seconds and let you save it. Beats having to copy and paste line by line through the DeepL website".

Make sure that this SRT file has the same name as the movie, so that the player recognizes it and associates it with the movie. Save it in the same folder as the movie, and you are done.

Yesterday I watched SIVR-398, and it has the worst 8K picture quality ever. Dirty and blurry at medium distance. S1 image quality is getting worse and worse. An 8K movie of almost two hours, 7.5 GB. The 4K version, 23 GB...

now i'm curious about your adaptations?

Do you just change a few words like "sister" to "girlfriend"? Or go with a deeper edit with plot change, etc?

I generally do something similar mentally. If I don't like the plot or roles, I just mentally rewrite it into a scenario that I like.

Well, I think it's gotten out of hand, ha ha.... I started by doing what you say, changing “sister” or “daughter”. But there were still dialogues centered on that, so I started to change plots by adding phrases and situations that excite me...

Surprisingly, it works for me, because if I watch a movie from a few months ago I don't remember what I wrote or the original subtitles, and the invented stuff fits, and it's much more exciting for me...

An example is the joke I posted yesterday. I suppose the VR is about something related to a school and its female students, so I change it to:

I would probably come up with a plot where the washing machine manufacturer's female employees try on the clothes to find out why they shrink....

It's just a stupid example, since my plots are usually realistic, but there are movies that I have changed completely. Especially in what they say in the sex scenes, where the phrases are usually always the same... I use dirty phrases and expressions that turn me on.
It works for me, it excites me much more...

I don't generate subtitles for all movies, only for the ones I really like, and in most of them I just change a few sentences that I don't like, or they cut my immersion. I only change the whole plot in some special titles, because it takes time. I replace the original sentences with others of a similar length, and it works for me.

Walle already covered most of this, but the compilations...those can be tricky. It really depends on what sort of compilation because they can be either.

Those with the full VR clips of others will usually say so. As in they will tell you its uncut or something like that. If you can't read Japanese, you'll have to switch to the English page.

I didn't even notice that Koala has released a movie without oil and clothes so I would've missed it if you haven't mentioned it.

I had a quick look and omg she is HUGE, like Godzilla size huge. What are they doing? I started watching the second part and she goes for a kiss right away it looks like she is double your size and it felt like she would crush you with her huge body . What are they thinking when editing these movies? This is by far the worst I have seen.

I generally do something similar mentally. If I don't like the plot or roles, I just mentally rewrite it into a scenario that I like.

I personally apply subtitles to every movie that I keep in my collection. It depends on the title but for those titles I do at least a basic clean up, which means mostly removing useless filler words like this:

I go from top to bottom and simply delete these lines because I don't want to read them while watching a VR, it's pretty annoying and deleting them only takes a few minutes per title. That's about it for around 80-90% of titles that I keep. It's good enough to follow the plot and it removes the biggest annoyances for me.

For the rest and if i really like a title I edit the subtitle file a little bit more. For that you have to actually read the subtitles and it takes longer to do, like:
- changing wrong gender descriptions
- if the text stays in for too long, sometimes they have lines that stay on for over 20 seconds and not much is being said. I reduce the time to 6-8 seconds depending on how long the line is
- changing a sentence that makes no sense, either I remove it entirely or change it to something that makes sense
- removing even more filler stuff that is harder to catch and part of a line that has something that you want to keep
- changing stuff incest related like @Walle12 mentioned to something neutral
- removing stuff if the girl refers to you with a specific name, like it is the case for HNVR-152 in which the girl calls you "Taro" for some reason. I simply replace the name with something neutral

The last two only work to a certain degree because you can clearly hear the girl calling you at a specific name or when she calls you "brother" over and over again you understand it even if you don't speak Japanese.

Exactly. I downloaded it because it is the first VR in years of Koala that is not with oils, or with the manual camera that makes you dizzy, and also has close missionary. But I could only watch it for 5 minutes, the actress is gigantic and breaks the immersion.
The same happens in some VRs of S1 and Moodyz with giant girls that I have mentioned in the last weeks, although not so exaggerated. But it breaks immersion just the same.
They've hired an inept guy to work at Fanza who has no idea how to set up a VR camera, or he himself has a tiny IPD and he adjusts the movies to his IPD, instead of the average IPD. With Koala I don't care, but they have already spoiled several S1 and Moodyz movies for me.

Eh, those are a mixed bag. Personally, I find I only like a handful of girls from those collections and I leave most of them undownloaded. They're also very old clips so the quality isn't great. The cheaper the discount, the older the clips. But like you said, they're cheap. If a whole bunch of VR clips costs less than your lunch, its definitely worth buying even if you will only watch a few.

All the new compilations are still pricey but they're still a good deal compared to buying individual titles.
