I have not used Collab. Within SE there are options to use CPP or Faster Whisper etc. I found Faster Whisper to be faster than CPP. For me what speeded up the transcription was getting a good GPU after I installed RTX3060 with 12gb it goes much faster but that's an expensive upgrade. Some people said 8gb is enough. But you need a card that uses CUDA. Also recently I discovered a parameter for Faster Whisper called -batched which became available from r239.1, it does batched inference and reduced the subtitle creation by 50%. Of course that may introduce more hallucinations.

Yea, I'm running an old Intel i7 cpu and recently got a NVDIA1060 type GPU. It has 6gb but it was in the price range what I was willing to pay. I haven't really timed it but it probably takes ~30+ mins for a 2 hour movie. Most of my time is then spent editing the Whisper crap...although I shouldn't bad mouth Whisper (in any form) because it's the best we have for now.

VEC-074 ~ Reiko Kobayakawa Takahashi Mio Daughter-in-law In Your Neighborhood Tits Couple Swapping ~ Pride, Do Not Exchange​

I downloaded this oldie JAV starring one of my favorite MILFs, Mio Takashi with huge boobs and had to Sub it. This is clearly a fan fiction type of sub as the original was not a mother-son theme. But I wanted to extend a JAV (OKSN-143) starring Mio that I had recently subbed, so I got creative and adjusted the dialog! I also found it ironic that the Whisper script referred to a neighbor named Sato...well I just knew it had to be Miki Sato! ​

I used Purview Faster Whisper XXL to create this Sub and I also attempted to clean it up a bit and re-interpreted some of the meaningless/ "lewd-less" dialog. Again, I don't understand Japanese so my re-interpretations might not be totally accurate but I try to match what's happening in the scene. Anyway, enjoy and let me know what you think.​

[Reducing Mosaic]PPPD-490 Shinoda Want To Conceived To Ensure The Son Of Busty Wife History​

I recently downloaded this reduced mosaic of an oldie JAV starring my GOAT JAV actress, Ayumi Shinoda. I had a pretty good Sub that I had found somewhere online (can't remember where I found it though) and I attempted to clean it up a bit and re-interpreted some of the meaningless/ "lewd-less" dialog and adjusted the timing for the reduced mosaic version.​

Thanks, I had a hard, no difficult time subbing this one due to the background music. Finally tried the VideoProc AI audio to try to bring out the voices, it helped some but still not perfect. Also I find it very difficult to correct all the pronoun usages and keeping all the names consistent throughout the video1

ls EROJAPANESE STILL taking paid requests for subtitles? I love their Red Catalog (mom incest) titles but its been awhile since they have added to that list. Also last I checked their subtitle requests are a little pricey, but you are right, their translation is the best I've ever seen for JAV.
