I love Mitsuki Momota, but she's been in three VRs, and ALL with oils. I bought the previous one because it wasn't too bothersome. But in this one, as you say, it's too much for our tastes. Why do all girls with big boobs have to end up slathered in oil?

Yes, this is an important point. Nowadays most VRs last 70 or 80 minutes, dedicate 50 to the introduction, the petting and a blowjob, and only leave 30 minutes of sex with 2 or 3 positions, which does not satisfy most people.

In 140 minutes you can squeeze in all the positions, baths, oils, clothes, whatever you want, and leave everyone happy. Nowadays only Kawaii with Ito Mayuki and Moodyz with some of their stars, do VRs longer than two hours. S1 too, but it's less frequent.

Unfortunately it's only 62 minutes long, so between the sumo fight and the intro, I think there's going to be very few sex scenes...
But it's directed by Yazawa Receive, with the angles I like, and in A Festa it will be at 80 Mbps, it's hard for me not to buy it and miss Azu in full quality... So maybe I'll buy it.

Receive has a weird humor ... Regardless it's Azu + naked in sex scenes + high bitrate + good director. I also predict it could be a good release.

In general I feel like 2025 is very very slow so far. Compared to Jan 2024 this time around it has much fewer interesting releases for my taste. I hope they increase the pace next month.

Also quickly want to mention KMP which releases around 25-33% of all 8k VRs. A couple month ago they had at least an interesting VR every 8 to 12 movies. But in the last couple weeks and from what can be seen in the previews I like 0% of what they do now. What is anyone elses opinion on KMP VRs?

What is anyone elses opinion on KMP VRs?

I find them to be a reliable studio. Not the worst for scale, but isn't uncommon for action to feel a tad distant. Usually always a freelancer that I like; their position variety is good, so little complaint from me. View them as a stalwart of the industry, the home of the freelancer. An indispensable studio, even with their flaws.

Former exclusives Shishido Riho and Ichika Seta already have KMP releases lined up. Though they can lack creativity, their consistency cannot be denied. The Japanese VR space would be barren in their absence, left with third-rate studios and gatekept exclusives.

They tend to make up around 40-49% of monthly releases with their SAVR, VRKM, and BIBIVR labels. They already have over 40 regular releases on catalogue between 1st Jan - 26th Feb, compared to just 1 from Moodyz, S1, and kawaii (though I anticipate a few more from them as the catalogue updates). Whilst exclusive studios have top tier talent, their usual drip-feed approach makes it difficult to remain JAV VR exclusive. KMPVR fills the gap in the market.

In general I feel like 2025 is very very slow so far.

All exclusive studios are lagging behind last year's numbers. S1 released 15 8K titles between 1st Jan - 26th Feb last year, for one. Hopefully they pick up steam as time goes on.

To me KMP is a studio that harms VR, rather than benefits it. It only releases boring mainstream clones that are the same as each other, and most with a very far distances, and very little immersion. The sex is slow, boring, mechanical, and artificial, lacking passion and realism. And in 80% of the titles you only see clothes. It has spoiled hundreds of movies for me with many favorite actresses because of how bad directed they are and how little immersion they have.

I am barely interested in 1% of the titles they release, if it were to disappear it wouldn't affect me in the least.

That said, it's not the worst VR studio, there are a lot much worse: Aqua, Koala, VRPRD, NKKVR, and a few more.

Two years waiting for a Miho Nana movie with no clothes, no oils, no costumes, today they announce just that... And it turns out that there's another guy on screen, talking during the whole movie!!!!

S1 hasn't done that for years, it has dozens of actresses... and they do it with Miho Nana!!

And now to wait, what, another six months? To make another movie with her with f***rced sex, or more clothes, or who knows?

Freelancers keep me sane, though even they aren't entirely safe it seems.

Thanks @enduraVR ... Today has been a rather frustrating day.... Mostly I accept it, not every movie is going to be shot to my tastes. But the Miho Nana VR has been a tough blow. As you know she was on my “personal dreams” list for 2025.
The last year and a half S1 has released 3 movies with her and all contrary to my tastes. In most of them she doesn't take off her clothes in the whole movie, there are oils, costumes.... After a year and a half of waiting, they announce this one... I see the photos with her naked... with the close missionary... and when I download the trailer and see that there is another guy talking the whole movie and having a threesome.... I almost threw the computer out of the windows...

I'm not asking for too much or anything weird, a face to face missionary with a nude girl. But apparently, that's what's weird... Because in a year and a half there's no scene like that in 8K with Miho Nana, Fujita Kozue, Kisaki Nana... Kisaki Nana shot more than a dozen movies last year, and not one nude and face to face missionary.... Today also the first Fujita Kozue VR in months... and with f***rced sex and full of clothes.

The underlying problem is that in the case of exclusive actresses like Miho Nana, they only shoot a couple of VRs a year.... And if you don't like one, it's a long wait... That is, if she doesn't retire before... because many actresses stay one or two years, and quit.... What's frustrating in this case is that they “waste” Miho Nana with a kind of movie that S1 hasn't shot in years.... Ever since they did the same thing with Kano Yura 3 or 4 years ago, that pissed me off just the same.... They only use my favorite actresses for these things.... They could have done it with one of those with plastic tits...

But there is no choice but to be pissed off, because these movies are made for the Japanese, and their sexual fantasies involve girls wearing clothes and costumes, or forcing, humiliating or abusing girls. Which is just the opposite of what I like.

Understandable that it would evoke such a visceral reaction. Exclusive studios make us wait months/years for a single release, just to end up wasting it on an unpleasant theme. I hope the 1-on-1 scene shown in the trailer is at least salvageable.

I don't want to see VR JAV... pornified. That goes against everything I love about the medium. If I wanted to see gangbangs or bukkake or NTR I'd just watch normal JAV. Yagi Nana's recent bukkake flat release inspired this comment from me, more out of annoyance. Studios take so long to shoot VR releases with their exclusive talent, instead using them to make videos like that. But I guess this is porn after all... we are very much in the minority as VR enthusiasts that prefer GFE/intimate themes over seeing the talent be used like sex dolls

There are a number of titles I abandoned with otherwise great content that could have benefited from higher resolution. A shame they were so slow to adopt 8K.

Very different statements, @Walle12 opinion seems unchanged. Well he didn't like KMP before so for sure the 2025 releases were not for him. Imo they had a few decent releases in 2024 and as you say endura they are the only studio that works with certain freelancers that we otherwise might not see in VR.

I don't mind that they are all clones of each other for the story and so one. The same could be said for almost every release from premium studios. But I agree in general about "slow, boring, mechanical, and artificial, lacking passion and realism" and yes all these releases with clothes... but I accepted that a long time ago.

I'm not sure what the effect would be if they stopped releasing VRs all together. Maybe other studios would step in, hard to say. In the end it comes down to the people making these movies and how capable they are in delivering high quality VRs with good immersion. For KMP it seems that mostly untalented creators are involved and they don't seem to improve, rather some of them seem to unlearn things they had figured out before. I guess there is more to the story than just the directors but it's the only info we have. For that I'd say for my taste Member Miyasako's releases have the highest chance of success. For example the upcoming VRKM-1485 with Waka Misono looks good too me. And yes, boring story that is done a million times before. I don't mind it.


And if we talk about upcoming VRs from KMP. They have announced SAVR-550 / 08 Feb with Amiri Saitou. Could be a rare win from KMP.

I got the rough figure from their 2024 releases. Removed the data from my original comment as I felt it too data-heavy and less conversational.

Kawaii = 52
Idea Pocket = 34

1036 total releases from the studios that we care most for. From this, KMPVR has a 44% share of VR releases. If we include releases from third-rate studios like Aqua or NKKVR, and less active but still good releases from the likes of E-BODY and Honnaka, they'd be around 39-42% or so. KMPVR truly are a goliath.

Haha, yes - Walle12 and I have contrasting views on KMPVR. I understand his gripes, but as there is no alternative I do my best to look past them. Like he said, there are far worse studios (e.g. AQUA, NKKVR).

They are the home of freelancers. SOD and Unfinished don't release enough to cover the large pool of talent; KMP's shotgun approach is a necessary evil. Releases would feel glacial in their absence, left to the mercy of exclusive studios with their 2-5 monthly releases, as well as low-budget studios with poor scale and setups more uninspired than KMPVR.

The mechanical feeling may be a by-product of releasing so frequently, the directors sacrificing quality for quantity. If they were to clean up certain technical aspects and focus more on what makes a release feel immersive (perhaps also whilst reducing number of releases), I'm sure Walle12 would be in support of them.

I'm easy to please as I usually just keep the latter action scene. As long as certain requirements are met (good scale, firm action, eye-contact not off-centre), it goes in the collection.

I'm going to break down my problem with KMP....

+In the vast majority of their releases, the actresses don't take their clothes off for the whole movie. That's a turn-off for me. I accept the clothes if they take them off later, for example Unfinished and others do half a movie with clothes on and half without. But if they don't take them off for the whole movie, it's no enough for me. Because clothes + censorship = Netflix.

+ It's true that KMP releases quite a few movies without clothes, and some are immersive, good face to face cowgirl, good angles... But they end with a distant missionary that for me destroys the immersion. An example is VRKM-1481 with Azu Amatsuki...It has everything I like, 80% of the film promises a lot according to my tastes.... And then they end up with this:

With the headset on, the difference in immersion is day and night. The KMP angle is just watching TV, this Kawaii angle is real VR, you FEEL your are fucking the model...

I know that for Chewbaka and others it's enough with the cowgirl or other things, for me it's not. That's the difference between KMP and Unfinished or Kawaii. These studios end with a close missionary, KMP almost never. So it has spoiled hundreds, literally hundreds of movies for me over the years.

+Nevertheless, as they release a thousand titles a month, some of them get a close missionary, for example SAVR-550 / with Amiri Saitou, or tha Aya one that 2dxxxisdead (best name ever ) has posted. But then KMP's other problem comes to light: slow, robotic, passionless sex. Take any KMP close missionary, and compare it with one from Idea Pocket or Moodyz... The KMP ones are in slow motion, only last 3 o 4 minutes, and the girls hardly show any emotions, because the actor doesn't move...

So even though some KMP movies have everything I like, then I watch them and they don't end up filling me up like Unfinished, Kawaii, Idea Pocket, etc.

As I said, 1% of their titles interest me, those that 2dxxxisdead has posted, or this one with Azu, I have hopes, because she always gives her best, even if the director is useless....

This is the trend of the last few months... Moodyz, S1, no longer shoot “girlfriend experiences”, they shoot scenes with models who act like American porn stars.
Even KMP, which was the most mainstream, has started to shoot forced porn movies...

After the release of 8K video in the summer of 2023, we had 6 or 8 dreamy months, with all studios releasing many quality titles in 8K to try to capitalize on the novelty.
I guess they didn't sell what they expected, but it seems that none of them stopped to think that the 8K image quality of Fanza is crap, and surely many people see no difference between the 4K and 8K versions, and buy the cheaper 4K. Or, what I always say, Japanese people still watch VR on mobile, and they don't care about 8K or 2K, it looks just as bad on a smartphone display.
