I like Karen Kaede, but she had this period where she had fake boobs although they were not really that obvious so I didn't mind too much. She got those implants removed by IPVR-256 though.

I liked Ranran before she inflated her boobs. That it got a little too obvious that they were fake.

She's alright in 2D. Watched her few of her vids. Its just VR where she's uncomfortable.

I know you're not so keen on watching 2D JAV anymore, but she has quite a few solo gravure videos by now and she's stunningly beautiful in them. I really suggest watching them. Gravure is about the only 2D vids I still really watch of JAV girls these days.

By the way, @chewbaka , have you watched KIWVR-659, the new VR with Moeka Marui? Don't you think Moeka looks too giant? It's the same as Remu Suzumori's new movie, the IPD they shot the movie with is wrong and everything looks too big. Even with the options HereSphere gives you, she still looks huge.

I had to put the movie down (besides not liking me at all) because it takes me out of the movie. It's like being with an NBA player, knowing that Moeka is tiny... A pity, I hope she shoots more VRs with Kawaii VR and Unfinished.

I don't understand Fanza's criteria when deciding the image quality and bitrate of a 8K VR. I also don't know if the decision is Fanza's, or the studio's.

I have bought from Fanza the 8K version of Reina Miyashita's VR (MDVR-286), and Amiri Saito's (MDVR-295), because no one uploads them. It seems that everyone is satisfied with the outdated 4K versions that are already like the VHS of the VR.

Anyway, the thing is that Reina's 8K VR has a pretty mediocre image quality. Considering that in this context, a mediocre 8K looks much better than the best 4K. However, Amiri's looks very good. If we compare data:

MDVR-286 8K: 124 minutes, 14 MB, 13-14 Mbps.
MDVR-295 8K: 75 minutes, 19 MB, 33-44 Mbps.

I don't understand why the 8K version of Amiri's VR has three times the bitrate, and comparing them head to head, it looks quite a bit better. I don't think it's a space limit, some Fanza 4K VRs I have, also from MDVR, take up 30 or 40 MB. The numbering doesn't work either, MDVR-295 came out a few weeks before MDVR-285, even though it has a higher number.

Reina's VR is supposed to be premium, it's the first in 3 years from a very desirable actress, and should have premium image quality. Instead it has one of the lowest bitrates of all 8K VR movies in existence.

I can't understand it. Unless they don't give a shit how it looks, which is what it looks like. Or they assume that 90% of people use a crappy smartphone to watch VR, and don't notice the difference. Which is more likely. Too bad... :(

Nanami Ogura returned to AV a few months ago, with a new name, Nanami Kodama. And after two years, here it's her new VR... :)

I love how much she sweats in the sex scenes, and it pisses me off that they immediately cut the shot, and she appears completely dry....

Nope not yet, but yeah I hate when they get the perspective all wrong.

Its scary when the girl appears to be almost as big as you. I don't have that fetish.

I really don't understand how they screw it up, and I'm not sure how to fix this software-wise with the player.

Also, you can watch them in 2D on your player. Its not quite the same as VR but its like having your own private cinema starring Miyashita Rena. That's fun in its own way. Plot? Who needs a plot? Boobs. That's all the plot I need.

VR movies are shot with a fixed IPD. It's usually the most standard, 64 or 65 mm, to fit most people. But some director changes that IPD to a larger or smaller one, or forgets to adjust it properly in the camera, and that makes people look too big, or too small.

HereSphere has an option to change the diameter of the image, called Alignment, which corrects the problem a bit, but not completely. Use it (a smaller value) when you see everything too big.

Another option is to zoom out the image to see it smaller, but of course, you zoom out the girl, so you lose immersion.

I don't like Crystal VR movies, except for some occasional title. But this one I'm going to buy on day one. I have a soft spot for Azu Amatsuki. She's a very cheerful and giggly girl, and I find her very cute.

I thought she was exclusive to Fitch, but she also has a VR with E-Body and now with Crystal VR. I hope she shoots some more with Kawaii VR and Unfinished VR.

On A Festa TV they have posted the trailer for Remu Suzumori's second VR, at 8K and 90 Mbps. With the previous movie they took it down after 3 days, so download it fast if you're interested.

Again she looks like a NBA player for my IPD... :(

It looks like it's going to be in the style of Nana Yagi's VR, with unconnected scenes where in each one she wears different clothes...
 
Wow, I really enjoyed Amiri Saito's new VR, although she's getting too thin.

Mega immersive and intimate movie, of a rain-soaked girl who is afraid of thunders, and seeks the protection of your arms.... :p

Amiri Saito looks amazing, she is one of the most beautiful actresses in JAV VR, and after shooting dozens of VR, she knows how to talk and act in front of the camera.

Unclothed face to face sex scenes, which guarantee maximum immersion, and the feeling that you've been making love with Amiri Saito, and not watching. Something Moodyz VR has lost with its latest releases.

For me, Amiri Saito's best VR. And with the best 8K image quality of a Moodyz VR movie, it has up to three times the bitrate of other Fanza 8K movies, and it shows.

Awesome thread, just registered to say thank you. Found some good tips and recommendations in here. It seems also that it is the only place where this kind of topic is been discussed?

JAV VR is imo in it's own league when it comes to immersion, angles etc. Found out about it only recently so there is still alot to discover ;) Also they seem to improve constantly, e.g. everything before 2020 is completely unwatchable to me, 2020-2021 have some hightlights but those are rare. In the last couple years there are several great movies every single month.

Welcome! It's the only thread i found that's still fairly active

I skipped many Amiri Saito releases lately, but this recent one is great. Moody's is on a roll this year, there are very few scenes by them i didn't enjoy.

Walle mentioned already many of the better recent movies, I'm very much liking Madonna delivering top tier MILF scenes, also SIVR with MDVR while spotty at times keep the quality high.

I'd like to also recommend some new group scenes

URVRSP-332 has a fantastic casting. Erika Ozaki and Hikaru Miyanishi are both 10/10, and while it's impossible not to mention Hinako Mori's failed implants, she's still a top tier performer in my eyes. Definitely worth watching.

SAVR-376 with Waka Misono, Erika Ozaki, Miu Arioka and Maina Yuri. One of rare KMP wins, with two threesomes and a 4 on 1 this one doesn't waste time. I'll watch anything with Erika, but the rest of the girls don't disappoint either.

With harems it's always difficult, because you end up with some actress you don't like. But those two titles have a very good selection of girls.

Completely agree. Both of them are absolutely perfect in everything: beauty, body, acting.... Too bad most of their work is with KMP. I wish they would shoot more movies with Kawaii VR, Unfinished VR, and even Moodyz.

A movie like this last one by Amiri Saito with Erika or Hikaru.... WOW

I created this thread precisely because I could not find any place where JAV VR was discussed. I'm still looking, and haven't found any more. Can't understand it, since JAV VR is the most realistic porn out there, even with censorship. Or precisely thanks to censorship, it focuses on other things beyond genitalia, as happens in western porn.

You are absolutely right. I complain a lot with some movies, and get really pissed off when they don't have the angles I like, or there's too much clothing. But the reality is what you say, the movies of the last two years are much better than the ones before. More immersive, better shot, and with more worked angles. At least, the most important studios. Others have gotten worse because they release 4 times more titles, and dedicate less time to them.

8K resolution is a blessing, too.
