I remember one of those nightmare threads on Sankaku once about this kind of thing.

It is kinda surprising how drastically some girls will change the way they look with make-up, but honestly, I always hated the crazy colors and stuff, like in that tutorial video in this thread. I'll admit, I do try to make myself look a little different sometimes, but I always just go for things that will at least look natural. I never got what people see in neon-purple eyelids and so on. I just always felt like I'd look more retarded like that than anything.
