ok i use the gom player to play my idol iso files, sometimes i extract the vob's and play that way becouse the sound is better and there are no problems. i have recently started ripping dvds myself and for some reason when i play the vob files imgetting blocky scrambley picture and the audio is the same way. i have try this with several dvds and all do the same thing. dvds that are protected of course have to be decrypted but i have a few that are not protected and the vob's from that do the same thing..

i have been ripping with two different dvd-rom and both seem to do the same thing. any ideas of what is going on?

Try playing your ripped assets with a different media player. If you see the exact same problem, then you can assume that your ripping program is at fault. In that case, re-rip the disc.

Recommended free ripping programs are DVD Decrypter and DVDFab HD Decrypter. The former does not handle advanced copy protections, but idol DVDs never have those sorts of things.

The other recommended DVD ripping program is AnyDVD, but it's payware. If you try to run a pirated version, you have to be careful to get a proper crack (there are a lot of bad/infected ones out there.)

SlySoft.AnyDVD.HD.v6.5.4.4.Multilingual.WinAll.Incl.Keygen.and.Patch-BRD is a recent scene release, and should work just fine. You can download it here, if you trust me: http://depositfiles.com/en/files/gq0rf3w0q (archive password is "rl-team.net")
