A month ago I subscribed to a streaming membership to access some JAV on a bigger JAV online shop.
I'm usually not a fan of memberships like this but I was able to get my hands on some titles that would have been expensive if I would have bought them separately.
I purchased videos on this website before so I thoght it was a legit shop but oh boy was I wrong...

Now the trouble begins with this stupid membership...

A couple of days ago I wanted to cancel my membership so that it doesn't get renewed but the cancelation process is broken.
If I try to cancel my subscription I get redirected to the payment processor and I get a generic error...
The error says I need to contact the support but the support link is broken.
I contacted the customer support of the shop and they quickly replied with a non helpful answer that I need to contact the payment processor support. They attached the same broken support link...
I went back to the payment processor website and searched for a different contact formular. I found one and explained my problem to them.
After a couple of hours I get a reply that I need to contact the customer support of the shop if I want to cancel my subscription.

I wrote both of them again that both of them say that the other one is responsible and that I would appreciate some help. No answers since.... This means I'm stuck with a membership that I can't cancel...

I'm baffeled that the customer support of the shop doesn't want to help me at all. I'm sure that someone with technical know how at the shop would be able to cancel my membership easily...

The only solution that I can think of now is to block my credit card but if I do that I'm not sure what will happen with my shop account that has videos that I already bought in it...

Had someone else a similir experience in the past? Or has someone advice on what I should do now?

I guess that is what I get for wanting to buy my JAV in a legit manner to support the production of them....

bro, i don't know where are you come from, but from my place, the easiest way is contacting the bank, and report to them to block my credit card, and create a new one, this will help you to cancel the memebrship

next time, use a virtual credit card number or a prepaid card. so if something goes south you dont have to mess with your real cards.

Prepaid card are the only card you should use for these type of website/transaction.

Cancel your credit card and get a new one, they will not cancel your subscribtion.

I wanted to refrain from calling out names before I was sure that they didn't want to help me. It took a couple of days for them to reply but in the end they canceled my subscription without charging me for the next month.
If I had to cancel my credit card I would have named the site.

Prepaid card are the only card you should use for these type of website/transaction.

Prepaid credit cards are such a hassle in my country... The credit card that I use for these sites I only use for porn so it wouldn't be the end of the world if I had to cancel it but I was afraid that I will lose all my purchased videos on the website if I just cancel my credit card.

As to avoid this kind of stress I generally cancel my(not necessarily porn) subscriptions 3 or 4 days after I subscribed. I can still access the website/use the service for the rest of the month, there is always time to change my mind and re-subscribe, and 4 weeks is enough time to solve eventual issues like yours... sometimes it gets 3 or 4 days to receive the mail saying the subscription expired.

I wanted to refrain from calling out names before I was sure that they didn't want to help me.
Glad you solved the problem. BTW you asked for help, but it's hard to help you without knowing the site and the payment processor.
