No. 1 and No. 2 are loo-oo-ng gone, No.2 around in 2001-2, and No. 1 probably even before that. (EDIT: Reference on No. 1 is scant; looking at the faces again, it is possible No. 1 & No. 2 could be the same actress.) No. 2 has another alias of アニー麗, which "dirty translates" as Annie Li or Ani Rei.
No. 3 goes by "EMIRI" (another single-named JAV actress where the letters must be capitalized), beginning in 2014 and still at it. She must be a contract girl, as all of her movies seem to have the prefix "BLK." I knew of "Kira Kira Black Girl," which is EMIRI's claim to fame, but I did not know that "kira kira" was the name of a studio.

It looks like EMIRI has blue eyes up there, doesn't it? Funny, I clicked on all of the screen shots on her Asian Screens page (linked "No. 3 below), 'cause we know how they Photoshop the covers... but in every shot, her eyes were closed! It was only until I got to the end, with the first shot for BLK-239, that I got an open-eyed photo. Her eyes indeed appear lighter-brown, and then I checked the "Mixed Blood" thread to see how mutty she might be. Looks like I was the one who had first brought her up, and in the next post Paparoach408 confirmed she has some Korean in her. (Are Koreans known for lighter-colored eyes?)

The name I had given EMIRI was Emily Okazaki, A.K.A. Emiri Okazaki ( 丘咲エミリ ), who has a different Asian Screens page. Looking at one set of screen shots, she might be a different lady. (With this one, her eyes are black. Maybe she wears contacts, during her "black girl" shoots?) But, nah, she's the same wench... I can see her resemblance, and the stick-out ears, with this set for IPZ-214. I can see from a link that I had provided in the "Mixed Blood" thread that Member Harveysrabbit confirmed both aliases here. (As "Okazaki," EMIRI appears to have begun her JAV career in 2011... and not in 2014, as stated earlier.)

No. 2 seems to have focused on uncensored JAV. She may have begun and ended last year.

Minami Mizuhara

No. 2 seems to primarily go by the name of Hime Mizuhara; she is A.K.A. Hime Hamasaki, Ayumi Yamakawa, Saori Mizusawa, Mao Mizusawa and Haruno Ayase. Got started in 2007, and kept going until 2010, mainly appearing in uncensored fare (example, also censored). That's according to her Minnano-AV page, but with so many aliases, I suspect there is more to her.

You'll notice Mao Mizusawa is one of the aliases of No. 2, above. Not to be confused with...

While I don't think ... KAORI ... ( かおり ) ... is all that special, she won me over with her performance in Submission Schedule - Teacher Gets Disgraced Each Day... [RBD-411] ... where she was treated so disrespectfully by Hyena.



It looks like she got her start in 2009 and is going very, very strong. She has had back-to-back releases lately, as we may see from her Minnano-AV page, and with her DMM page, arranged by release date. (Here also is her Asian Screens page.)

I knew I was asking for trouble when I wondered what other KAORI's were out there; we know single-named JAV actresses (save for the really famous ones, such as JULIA) could be the bane of our existence, confusing as they could get.

This was going to be a big job, so I decided upon taking a short cut, by utilizing Minnano-AV for the pictures and most of the information. (Which means what is below is not the end-all, as far as the discussed actresses.)

First one that came up in a search was:



This Kaori ( かおり ) may have come and gone with one paltry uncensored movie from 2014, which you may access from Kaori's Minnano-AV page.

Moving on...



かおり 's main moniker may be Maho Inoue, and she has several other names, including Honoka Sakihara and Chihiro Kobayashi. Her time was 2008-12, and she seems to have focused on uncensored JAVs. (None that I clicked on had a DVD code.) Her Minnano-AV page.



She is really Ayako Fujimori (I like her appearance on the covers of Snack Ayako [SPRD-402] and Stepmother Slave [MDYD-516]), and she was at it from 2009-13. Her Minnano-AV page and Asian Screens page.


IDBD-152

This Kaori is really Eri Ito (A.K.A. Yu Aikawa), and she was at it from 2005-09. Her Minnano-AV page, DMM page and Asian Screens page.



This Kaori is really Emi Nagasawa and according to her Minnano-AV page, she may have come and gone in 2014 with only two movies to her stage names.



The one we are really talking about here is the established actress Hitomi Nanase (A.K.A. Ryoko Fujisato, Kyouka Sakai and Ayane Mishima; she began two years ago and is still going gangbusters. Her Minnano-AV page, DMM page and Asian Screens page.



This Kaori is another fairly established actress who popularly goes by the name of Miho Tachibana; her Minnano-AV page will reveal eight other monikers, including the one they chose as her most prominent, Mizuki Hayashi. Active from 2009-15, here are her DMM page and Asian Screens page. (Both woefully incomplete.)



We know this Kaori must be a real Kaori, because the KAORI has been capitalized. She's got a few aliases, such as Kirari Tsukino (her Minnano-AV page will reveal a couple of others). Appears she was at it from 2009-12. A page of hers at Action Jav.



Yuriko Masuda is the other name she goes by. She's got some heft on her. Operated from 2005 until 2009, although she may have briefly resurfaced in 2012. Her Minnano-AV page and DMM page.



Also goes by the names Miura Tomoko, Saeko Nakamura and Satomi Shimizu. At the game from 2010-15, mainly appearing in uncensored JAVs... or so it seems. Her Minnano-AV page.



A.K.A. Rio Asaki, appears to have come and gone in 2013. Her Minnano-AV page.



She is known as Miyuki Yamamoto, Hiromi Aoyama, Nozomi Onodera and Kou Tatsuki, and she was at it from 2010-11. Her Minnano-AV page and DMM page.



A.K.A. Yume Haruka, active 2011-12. Her Minnano-AV page and DMM page.


Recently, I tried to lend a hand at the I.D. section and that's when I first came upon another example of single-named JAV actresses named MEGUMI. When I came across the many Megumi's... (please click on the spoiler button)...

As I went through that monstrous ... KAORI ... list above, I came across three Kaori's with last names that were Same Named Jav Actresses. I suppose duty requires that we look at them, as well.

Please bear in mind that some of the comparison pages (aside from possibly Minnano-AV) are nearly meaningless, because a good several of the following actresses have millions of monikers. I'd suggest you dig up these ladies' Sougouwiki pages for a better idea of their overall output.

Kaori Okuyama

No. 2 was reportedly born in 1989, and is mainly A.K.A. Pine Shizuku; another alias is Yukari Ishida. The period she worked appears to be 2010-2011.

The girl in HAWA-041 is credited as "Megumi" as well, but she's actually Erika Masuwaka. The girls in the HAWA videos are usually credited using alternate names like that. So bascially they are uncredited. It might have something to do with them being advertised as being 30 years old but they sometimes they are much younger (e.g. Erika Masuwaka is only 24 years old, apparently).

Might be a One-and-Done, with 2015's PRB-014 as her only credit. Her Minnano-AV page.

Sometimes we get "Alisa" for "Arisa" in translations of Japanese. A.K.A. Shiho Mihara and may have appeared in only four uncensored films, in 2009. Her Minnano-AV page.



A.K.A. Asuka Ishihara, Mari Yamase and Tsukasa Hayami; at it from 2007-2010, with a single return in 2013. Her Minnano-AV page.

Funny thing is, the first one came into the scene in 2003, made only a handful of movies in that year, and then disappeared. The second one is said to have been born in 1977 and burst upon the scene in March of this year... having made only three movies to date for the OBASAN studio, the last one having been released in June.

Wouldn't that be amazing if she is one and the same? That would mean she left the industry after getting a brief taste, and then returned after... thirteen long years. (I don't know, that's kind of kinky.)

I tried to get more convincing evidence, after noting a distinctive-looking ear in screen shots for OBA-265... followed by an earlier example:

I mean, it's not really all that distinctive, it's a regular ear, really. But desperate times call for desperate measures.

The trouble is, you know how those older movies do not have enlargeable photos from listings in DMM and R18... the closest I came was this meaningless shot (second one, above) for "Number One," from NSV-018. Sporting long hair, her ears were usually covered.

Everyone is confused about..

Kirari


Kirari No. 1 .................................... Kirari No. 2 ............................... Kirari No. 3

Minnano-AV tells us No. 1 goes mainly by the name of "RINA," and has appeared in seven 2003 movies. She then came back in 2007 and made two movies. Then came back in late-2009 and made at least eight movies into 2010.

Maybe they confused two actresses, the "2003" one, and the one from the later years. Face from the cover of her late-2009 one, MUD-06, looks different. When I tried to get more information on MUD-06, the other reference sites either told me of a similar title, SMUD-006 (also from 2009!) or just told me to STFU.

What compounds the problem is that none of the movies on the Minnano-AV page appear on the pages of the other Kirari's. None of the other sites shed light on another of the later movies, RHJ-145... except for Javbus (which also pointed to the elusive MUD-06). Some other movies also popped up. I think this "later" RINA is someone else:

I'm lookin' at the faces from our first row of Kirari's, and I see a similarity between No. 1 and No. 3; perhaps they are the same?

Before we get totally confused...

The Asian Screens page and the Minnano-AV page for No. 2. She was active in 2009, and made very few movies. (She's a near "One and Done," in fact.) The picture above is from the cover of "Super Bitch Kirari..." [HODV-20609]. She has a distinctive face, and there is no mistaking her for the other two. (Or three. Or... one.)

The Asian Screens page for No. 3 is a little messed up, because the same birth date (8/12/87) has been provided, as for their page for #2. (Action JAV has also provided the same birth date in their page for Kirari #2... her talent, by the way, is "karaoke." No page, by the way, from Action JAV for Kirari #1.)

The thick plot thickens further when Minnano-AV lists "CRAZY MAD FUCKER" [HODV-20615] as a movie for #2, but Asian Screens hands the honor over to #3. The one movie that definitely identifies #3 is 2007's "New Face Kirari - Initial Undressing Debut" [IDOL-093]:



When I searched for IDOL-093 elsewhere, the actress was shown to have this one and only movie. (As with the Javbus page, and the page for DMM.) Could #3 be a separate actress with IDOL-093 as her only movie? Yet the portrait I've put up for #3 above comes from Asian Screens' screen shots for IDOL-093, and she looks like "Rina" #1.

Sougouwiki's page for #2 also credits her with "CRAZY MAD FUCKER" [HODV-20615], and provides her with a credit for a third movie, HODV-60081. I'd guess this would be accurate for #2 (Javbus confirms "CRAZY MAD FUCKER" as well), and we additionally learn from Sougouwiki that an alias for #2 is also... "Rina"!

Getting back to #3, Asian Screens has credited her with one more movie, SET-006:



DMM has no credit for SET-006, and neither does Javbus, and neither does JavLibrary. On the other hand, Sougouwiki provides these as the names for the actress:

Kirari Tsuneni / Kirari Tsuneni (Kikirari Tsuneki) / KAORI / Tomomi Akimoto / Kyoko Tsukioka

We may conclude in this case Asian Screens blew it, as Asian Screens often does. Regardless, we are left with more questions than answers in the case of Kirari, particularly with the difference — if any — between #1 and #3.
