July 4th, 2017 Hana Nonoka 乃々果花 vids deleted
[this news was already reported in another thread, so that saves me a lot of typing, I'm just adding some interesting details]
According persons in the know, Hana Nonoka was waiting for some legal clarity from a similar case: Asuka Hoshino ほしのあすか suing 青木亮 boss of her former agency. Now that DMM etc is removing Hana's vids, it seems Hana is pressing ahead with her case, which further implies that Asuka's case is moving in the direction in favor of the actress. The defendant of Asuka's law suit is also the current agency for Yua Mikami.
This development may encourage more current and former idols to press legal action against the agencies.
If you ask, how does removing vids from e-tailers like DMM, Amazon and SOD help anyone's legal position? Well that's a great question and no one has a good answer. Earlier SOD's boss was asked about the removal of another idol's vids during a case, his answer was very sheepish: "others [DMM etc] did it, so we do the same thing."
[How very Japanese, very groupthink, what matters isn't logic, but conformity]
