I just see people doing mental gymnastics to justify a desire to sustain a culture created by men that aims to humiliate, violate, traumatize, and terrorize women. One of my favorite aspects of the JAV industry is the themes. The Japanese directors utilize themes, and heavily nuanced yet simple plots to build tension and steam up the actual sex scenes with such consummate skill.
For instance, BDD-40 and BDD-41, a boxer and a martial artist must defend themselves against Corn Pop and some bad dudes. They get beat up at first, but bring back their boss man to settle the score.
In both movies, the female lead agrees to a winner take all style fight, where she proceeds to lose and get gangbanged by the invading group, in front of her trainer/trainees. Oh man what a hot couple of scenes. The tension and the fight scenes draw you into the situation, especially when the females take breaks during the fight competition part of the scene to consult with their trainers when they know they are in trouble, and therefore start to process what is in store for them as they slowly lose the battle and give up in exhaustion and defeat. Of course they start out just submitting their bodies to the victors once the fighting matches are over, but once they start getting fucked they can't hold back the orgasms, and they let it happen in a way that communicates their respect for the deal. Exceptional stuff.

SVDVD-485 is a lot of fun and has a similar reluctant participant who ends up loving the double team.
In FAX-340 there is a scene where this guy hides from a few gangsters who he owes money to, only to have his sister show up looking for him. The gangsters talk briefly to the sister, explain the situation, and that there is a score to settle. the girl, protecting her brother, offers to settle the debt herself. The three men take her into the woods, where they run a train on her, one after another, with the brother watching from the bushes, crying. When they are all finished, they walk away, leaving her to clean herself up, and put her dirty panties back on. Unbelievably hot scene. (Not IR but still it is awesome and worth watching)
The ones where the mother protects her son from bullies are pretty hot too, especially when they use relatively new yet mature actresses, who take 4 dicks at once! The neighborhood bully ones that offer a similar bill of goods are also pretty hot when the actresses get into it, although some of them are a bit flat. (Not IR but still good examples of the dynamic).
In KRMV-311 (I believe it is second scene) the husband sends his wife into a tent full of dirty homeless men for a thrill. I spent over a decade viewing US porn exclusively, mostly IR. To say that most of them are bad is certainly an opinion you are entitled to, and one I respect, as everyone has different preferences with numerous facets and contingencies.
US porn is for the most part unimaginative and the industry has had no shortage of wacky scandals. I tend to overlook most of the extemporaneous industry activity providing it does not materially affect the producers/actresses I like best.
That being said, with specific reference to Dogfart and my example of InterracialBlowBangs (Although Dogfart has a stable of labels that range from consistently good to pretty laughable), there are plenty of scenes that are exceptional - where the actress is soooo into it and the male talent tee her up, one after another, some even slipping in the surprise creampie to the amusement of the rest of the crew. Those are choice scenes, but certainly don't make up the majority of the scenes offered by that particular label. There are plenty of mediocre scenes that possess the attributes you mentioned. There are also some out right shitty ones where everyone seems to be like "is it over yet?" with no attempt to hide the limp dicks or crazy fake creampies.
However, to brand most of them as hilariously bad is not something I agree with, although your observations certainly apply to plenty of the scenes on that label and some of the other DogFart labels.
With respect to US IR porn compared to JAV IR porn, I discovered JAV relatively recently, and it blew me away. As I said earlier, most US IR porn is unimaginative (There are plenty of exceptions, but overall, based on my observations across producers and directors and labels over many years, I stand by this assertion) and lazy compared to JAV IR. However, there are plenty of instances of quality scenes that end up buried to an extent, as Dogfart puts out soo much product, the gems are indeed easy to miss.

That is just a sampling, but as you can see, not all Dogfart scenes are "created equal".
Storylines are simple and buildup is much shorter than JAV, but to address your criticisms, you can see within this sampling that plenty of their scenes are not just hot, but display enthusiasm and solid performances on the parts of both the male and female talent.
JAV IR, in general, goes to great lengths to develop the scenario in which the physical sex act(s) will take place, in order to feed the psychological needs of the viewer. The eroticism in JAV IR is built up usually well in advance of the sex act, so by the time it starts, the viewer is hooked in a psychological, physical and physiological sense.
I admire the efforts of Japanese directors in their artistic abilities to meet these multidimensional needs of their audience and in many cases, exceed them when it comes to intensity of the scene, characters, backdrop, etc. I get the distinct impression there is a ton of coaching of the talent to ensure the scene plays as it should in order to ensure the viewer is truly sold on the whole experience. Not every scene achieves this obviously, but when they do, it is pretty magical.
