I heard that a korean actress accused Kim Ki-Duk of sexual misconduct. And this morning, I found that another actress talked about being harassed (Choi Yul). For sure, there are bad people in the kpop industry. I already read once about guy members being slapped by their manager and stuff like that. Some agencies as a whole just see their talents as cash machines, and don't care about their safety. For example, I like GFriend but when I see their manager letting them perform on a wet stage and seeing them falling several times, it makes me so mad. They aren't the only one group concerned, but as I follow them, it kinda shocked me to see those girls getting hurt. Also, the management is also one of the reasons I listen to only very few kpop groups.
About the #Metoo, I have mixed feelings about it. There is such an hypocrisy in this move. I'm sure many actresses accepted some sexual misconducts in order to make a name into the industry. And now, they complain about it. But hey, nobody forced you, you could refuse and try somewhere else to get a role or even do another job. That's what Kate Beckinsale did. She said that refusing probably "cost" her Hollywood career, but it was better this way. To me, she still had a correct career, she was the main actress in the Underworld saga, she was in Pearl Harbor too. And I don't even mention actors and actresses who knew what was going on, but didn't say anything, and now "support" the women in the industry. Liam Neeson had a good opinion on what's going on (a "Witch Hunt" that is really borderline and can lead to fake accusations).
C'mon, let Jennie alone lol. She's too adorable (and also GF material), and also my bias in Blackpink. I would rather choose Hyuna, just because she looks so trashy for couple of years now, like most western "singers".
