Supjav add their own watermark so they always re-encode no matter what, which means lower quality than the source regardless of the bitrate they use. I know they used to take 6000 bitrate inputs and make them 10000 at one point, which just limits the quality loss and waste space, so who knows...

The average bitrate of most movies used to be about 5750-6000 for the video, but nowadays they don't decrypt them anymore, they re-encode them and sometimes the bitrate can dip in the 3000, which is horrible for 1080p and even when the bitrate is decent, it's often hardware encoding that was...

New links for SIC-004, SIC-015 and SIC-021.

I definitely collect way more than I watch, but when I feel like it I pick something at random to watch from what I downloaded and with such a large variety of choice, I know there's something new I can watch basically forever, even after I stop downloading new stuff. The JAV file quality has...

Public perception changes over time and the age of consent change reflects that. Even if the actresses are all 18+, the perception of young girls in that kind of thing is less accepted so that gets reflected in what kind of movies are made. Basically the same reason the forum had to get rid of...

You can set the search on the top right to "this thread" instead of "everywhere" when inside the thread to search for the id or whatever data people shared with the sub in the thread, same way you would on a website search. I doubt you'll find everything posted here on subtitlecat and...

Welcome fellow Canadian.

And did you try the proposed solutions to see if it fixes it?

In this case, it would be about someone wanting to ID more of her work, which could prove difficult when they're searching with the wrong name after getting interested in her by only checking the post with the spelling mistake. You might be fine figuring it out, but there are many who aren't so...

With how much activity the ID section is getting, Knowing the right name of actresses so you can find their other work is definitely appreciated by many people so definitely a good thing to correct people who get a name wrong.

From that log, looks like javluv has trouble connecting to all the scraping sites since they all give this warning "Internal browser parsing timeout. Retrying." but github was fine so it's not your connection. That's likely the cloudflare protection stopping the sites from loading so going to...

Apparently Tdarr has an health check option, but I've never tried it personally so can't say how well it works. Not downloading from streaming sites in the first place would help, in addition to being lower quality than other sources, they are more prone to breaking. In a perfect world you'd...

New links have been added.

It's 2 years old prices at this point.

There are some nice free ones if you don't go over the free limit. For example, I have stuff that's 13 years old on my mediafire account and still available since I'm well below the 50GB limit and it's not copyrighted stuff. Haven't downloaded from it in a long time though so not sure if it's...

lol, have you considered doing a month mega pack instead? You can use any filehoster in this section(since that would be too big for a forum attachment) and you could include the images in the archive and just list the codes in the post. Just a suggestion(don't take me being a mod as trying to...

Pro-tip, you can use the plain bbcode tags to undo some automatic formatting by the forum, like making that filename into an email address link. You just gotta toggle the editor to BB code on the top right to see them. For example This is not bold text.

You can go on IRC(details bottom right of my signature), some of us always hang out there.

According to AI, that's an error code that means something is interfering with the connection. Could be an antivirus or some browser plugin so disabling those and clearing the cache, stuff like that might help, but it's more likely that they're detecting you have a VPN connection and they're...

Definitely great.

The place to ask -> https://www.akiba-online.com/forums/jav-idol-identifications.121/

And I did say, if you read the reason the post got deleted, to use the actual series name instead since that would make it much easier for people to know what you're talking about, information is useful that way. And if you don't know what it is, we have a very useful ID section where you can...

New links for SCN-051.

Yeah, safelinking seems to be dead for good so pretty much all of my links aren't working. It hasn't worked in months when usually it would only go down for a few weeks at most. SKND-070 still had live FJ links so I put those directly in the post and will re-upload SCN-051 soon. It's too much...

Yeah, it can be a bit tricky with the 800x450 covers, can require come guessing, but the new DMM covers have much better quality and resolution so easy to see on those. Milk don't have their website set up(anymore?), it's the default page of their host or something like that...

You can bypass the dmm block by identifying your browser as googlebot btw, it does break some functionalities, but you can check links. The link doesn't seem to work anymore(with either the bot trick or a vpn, says "No valid content could be found.") and searching for the title returns nothing...

You have the studio written under the IPPA number(which include about 15 studio so not too helpful) there, but I don't recognize that one and the picture is too low quality to see all that well. One of the more experienced JAV Ider will probably have more info for you.

Videos get deleted automatically from most filehosts when people don't download them for a certain amount of time(usually 1 month), that's why many of the links will be dead, especially after 15 years.

There's a reason this is one of the oldest forum on the subject, we're trying hard to have a place where people can find what they want and don't get scammed, which is why the rules evolved into what they are today. It does require a minimum of effort from our members that other places tend to...

You can copy paste text with your phone and opening 2 tabs on a new phone should not be an issue so I don't see why that would be a problem for that. The forum also saves draft of post so it should not get erased if it unloads the tab when you switch away. as for the video thumbnail...

You do your best, but that is rarely an issue nowadays. Here's an example of a movie I don't know what it is: https://www.akiba-online.com/threads/mu-rs-hf-mf-3-girls-running-nude-down-the-street.165518/

It needs to be text or people can't search for it on the forum so a screenshot isn't good. The image of the thumbnails for the video is also required for the reasons I previously stated and you did not include it.

Nothing is stopping you from including more than one host in your post either. Here's an example of a post of mine with 3 hosts all having the same files(click below to see the full thing): https://www.akiba-online.com/threads/bibian-collection-bban-xxx.1473553/post-4974462

I'm willing to help and teach how to do it(pm me if you have questions), but if you don't make an effort, the post will just get deleted. I have to download the video to generate the thumbnail image so for that reason alone it's not viable for me to do(I also don't have the time to do this for...

When you post links, please at least make a minimal effort to make them useful to more than just the people who are in on the conversation and follow the forum rules. I've edited the post to make it decent, instead of what it was before: Information like the title and actress, in addition to...

Wanting to know more about each other, two people who are already close in their private lives share a meal, take a shower and kiss until morning, discovering the "love" they hadn't known yet on a two-day, one-night overnight stay date. もっとお互いの事を知りたくて、プライベートも仲良しな２人が、ごはんを食べてシャワー浴びて朝までたくさんキスをして...

There will always be a place for subtitle files since there are many problems with generating them on-the-fly, even if only because it is very demanding on hardware and push up electricity cost if you do it every time instead of once.

Click the link and enter the bunch of numbers and letters in the decryption key thing I would assume.

Downloading it from a streaming site redoes the container, which is what holds the sync data, so that gets lost. It's not an issue when the audio is perfectly synced in the first place, but that's not always the case.

You probably mean ctrl+a(select all) and ctrl+c(copy) since ctrl+v is paste(which they would need to do once they message you). Unless you're overriding the default shortcuts.

Funny how her name is different in all 3 of those movie in the translated title from whatever site you got the info from but the cover of each has a 4th different name that's the same for all 3...

You can install browser extensions for it, here's how I do it in chrome: https://www.akiba-online.com/threads/problem-with-trailers-in-javdb-and-idolerotic.2216211/post-4890412 For firefox, I use User-Agent Switcher, which is easier to use and has a nice menu where you can tell it to override...

video.dmm.co.jp has increased the resolution of their covers so if you care about the quality for them, that's the best place to get most. Sometimes the official studio site will have higher res/quality ones too. You need to identify your browser as a bot or use a VPN they don't block to access...

You can check a database site like javlibrary(not ideal, but there's no good english ones, ideally you'd translate from the official site) to get the movie information to paste here. For the thumbnail, I have a tutorial here, but there are other software to do it, they just tend to be outdated...

If you're wondering about the 5 videos you posted, they're gone for everyone. Read this first and post them again properly if you don't want them deleted: https://www.akiba-online.com/threads/how-to-start-a-new-thread-torrents-direct-downloads.1655872/ No need for filejoker in this section so...

I did notice a significant increase in spam accounts the last 3 or 4 days, might be badly programmed spam bots making too many requests or might have nothing to do with it if that's only since yesterday the site has been acting up.

You can(in the proper section and then link here like finalfantasy7 is doing) if you also include a filejoker link for it, other filehosts are not forbidden even if filejoker is required. Assuming you follow the other forum rules as well when posting.
