You can copy paste text with your phone and opening 2 tabs on a new phone should not be an issue so I don't see why that would be a problem for that. The forum also saves draft of post so it should not get erased if it unloads the tab when you switch away.
as for the video thumbnail generation(or contact sheets as is the more official term), that's a bit trickier, but there are websites you can use to get it done, the catch is that you need to upload the video to them for all those I found.

For some reason there doesn't seem to be apps for doing that, even though android has that feature implemented in the OS.

oh so like in the beginning of this page where people deleted or erased videos is it because they did not do this so they left and deleted the videos oh ok i understand now
