These days a diving game called Subside (PC VR only, PS VR2 soon) has come out and it's an absolute marvel.

Looks really good. When it comes to VR gaming I'm the equivalent of the people that watch VR porn on their smartphones. I'm just too lazy to set it up and only game in 2D even though I have the gear/hardware. Maybe some day...

There's something weird going on with this movie, Miyashita Rena looks HUGE, like a giant.

I had to go back and forth between her older videos and this one to finally notice it. Her head being slightly bigger could perhaps just be a matter of perspective, but she is literally taller in her latest video.

What causes this? Is it the field of view or some other setting on the camera they use? I would only add that it seems to me that you see too much of the room at once (high FOV?) and you can also see almost the whole body of the guy behind the camera and the body somehow stretches too far to the back. But in that case the girls head should look smaller not bigger? Very confusing.

I've just watched parts of it and while I appreciate having a look at what else is going on outside the fanzaverse I have to say that this feels more like a case study than actually watching porn.

Yes, the angles are not that bad and the camera moving was never a problem to me on it's own. But the image quality (sharpness, artifacts, details) is worse than JAV VR movies from 2020 with static cameras. The guy also talks back to the girl (yikes) and the whole setting is very amateur which you either like or don't. This movie just reminded me how important two aspects are that we might take for granted:
1) interaction with the camera (kissing, hugging, touching,...)/the girl moving 'inside' the camera. Could be done with the handheld camera as well (see the latest 8k handheld releases from SOD) but that would mean you have to move more with the camera which causes headaches for some and increases artifacts.
2) some sort of introduction/a story that introduces the girl. It's very important to me, even if it just is the usual 'look at my body' like the SIVR or EBVR debuts.

And at last the camera is still too far away for my liking, it still feels like a 3rd person view to some degree. That being said this release is much better than other amateur releases (caribbean? or what ever they are called/other CovertJapan).

Yup, I'm trackling Kitaoka Karin, And Yumeri Rika too. I'm just somewhat disappointed that these Unfinished VRs seem to resemble KMP these days. Rather short and rushed with only 2 scenes. They used to do about 3 scenes per title.

Also, SOD are up to their weird annoying shit again. I like Hoshino Riko a lot, and she has had 2 excellent VR with SOD so far. But WTF is up with her latest one?

SOD VR is already a hopeless case. It's not just that it's niche of niche, it's also that as VR movies, they're mediocre.
At least with Hoshino Riko we have two good VRs as you say, but what they have done with Tadai Mahiro, after 3 or 4 years without shooting in VR... Shame.

Amasawa Rin looks great. Shirakami Emika looks more natural than in her debut, she is not so serious.

I think it's a mixture of shooting with a very small IPD, which makes those of us who have more IPD than that, see it bigger. And also a forced perspective that this camera model makes what is very close look gigantic (the head) and what is far away very small (the body). It's happened in several Moodyz movies, and I'm worried it's going to wreck a movie I'm interested in....

I have to say that this feels more like a case study than actually watching porn.

Yes, it is very amateurish, as I mentioned. Unfortunately this is the best there is in porn with uncensored Japanese girls. Because the rest, Caribbean, and some others, are absolute garbage. The worst of the worst...

Oh, happy to report that Moodyz at least didn't screw up the Arata Arina VR like with Miyashita Rena.

You don't start with creampie sex, but you eventually get there so there's some sort of plot progression I guess. First shot in her is with condom. But than after that you start doing it raw but shoot outside. That's in the 2nd scene.

3rd scene onwards is creampie, 2 shots total. Its better executed than the Ono Rikka one.

As usual first scene is the setup and foreplay.

I really wish this was longer than 3 scenes, but VR these days all seem to have a lesser budget.

I've watched (and bought) it too, I liked it a lot. Arina looks more beautiful than ever, and the acting experience shows.
Luckily this movie has the right dimensions. But if you look at her previous one, in her Moodyz debut, I think she had the same problems as Rena's....

Finally Jun Suehiro has two potentially good upcoming VRs. Well they are from KMP, so let's see...

First is VRKM-1418 which is pretty vanilla stuff, a simple affair. Looking forward to that, nothing more to add. Looks like it could be fun if they do it right.


The second is what I'm curious about what you guys think (VRKM-1436). It's one of these 'baby talk' themes, so 'you' are a grown dude but the girl talks to you like you are a child... I personally don't mind this theme too much. Kinda weird but it's a very light roleplay and I think it's one of those fetishes that Jun can nail. What are your thoughts on that?

I'm more concerned that they don't use the proper missionary angle. If they do the angle like shown on the last picture it would be a bummer. But those are just pictures, so we have to wait and see, or do you have additional information besides these pictures, like a trailer or something?
