Then you have the lower quality version. Fisheye version of all those titles are the best. More FOV and more bitrate. A Festa call it Takumi version. New titles don't use Fisheye, but the old ones yes.

These are old titles, when 4K was only shot at 30 fps. But you won't find them anywhere else. KMP has many packs with dozens of titles, very cheap, and more modern. Look for them too.

If you dive through the A Festa VR catalog you're going to find impossible to find titles, even from actresses who have already retired. But beware that the image quality of movies from 2017 and 2018 was very low. Always look for the Takumi version, if it exists, or 4K instead of 2K. Even if they cost a few yen more, it's worth it.

And a few, very old titles from KIWVR, have DRM. Prestige, KMP, SOD, Crystal VR and others, don't.

Yes, I have some of them. Some are the complete movies together. They just rename the files to put the new ID on them, but it's the same as if you buy the movies separately. Others, like in that picture, are selected scenes. They take only 1 or 2 scenes from each movie, and sell them all together.

It is rare that they compress them and look worse, they usually are the same files as buying the movies one by one, but sometimes they do have a bit less bitrate.

They are so cheap because they are old titles. Movies in VR drop in price in a matter of months. If you look at some offers, titles that came out just a few weeks ago, or a couple of months ago, are already 30 or 50% off.

So you can buy them without fear, there's nothing weird about them.

All weeks there are ar least 1 or 2 sales. A Festa VR only works with a few studios, the only ones that allow their films to be sold DRM-free. So almost every week there is some sale from SOD, KMP, Crystal VR, etc. If you want to buy a title that is not new, it is worth waiting for a sale.

New releases from SOD, TMAVR and smaller studios are released at the same time in Fanza and A Festa VR. But KMP and Crystal VR release them a month late. I guess it is an imposition of Fanza.

For me the positive news of the day is the return of Ruka Inaba, an actress I really liked:

Yeah, there's a lot good things about her. One thing that stands out to me is her gentle voice- makes any scene with her feel like GFE.
She changed her hair color recently to blonde.. I hope that's temporary, i like her more with darker hair

They have improved technically, the image quality is much better and so are the camera shots. But for me they represent everything I hate about JAV VR: sex scenes with clothes up to the eyelashes, and / or camera miles away. I think it's one of the few studios I've never bought a single VR from.

I don't think our likes are that different, i just couldn't care less about clothes Aqua camera angles used to be trash- now they are a bit better, and the video quality is way better. That promoted them from automatic skip, to "maybe worth checking out sometimes"
Now at the bottom for me is probably KIWVR - every other scene is the same massage/soap land scenario or a random scene shot with a low quality moving camera

I like Suehiro Jun, too. Big eyes, beautiful smile, great ass, perfect skin. And good performer, as you say. And yes, I hope she gets rid of that horrible blonde dye, it looks terrible on her.... I guess the studios force the girls to dye their hair from time to time so they looks like another actress, and people don't get tired of them, but this color is a disaster:



For some reason, Japanese girls don't look good with blonde hair. Maybe because there are very few natural blondes and the color looks "weird".

I don't know any Japanese blonde actresses that I like the way they look, but it seems that Japanese people do, because there are quite a few who dye their hair blonde. I don't even download those movies.

For me the worst studios are Casanova and Aqua, because they always place the camera very far away, they hardly shoot face-to-face missionary or cowgirl, and there is hardly any interactivity. They don't shoot VR, they shoot boring 3D movies, it's like you're always looking at the TV, instead of inside the scene. I think in all of 2023 I've only watch one Aqua movie, where they did put the camera pretty close, with face-to-face scenes.

Then there would be KIWVR. I hate oil, and all the films are with oil, and with the mediocre camera shots, as you say.

But for me KMP is not far behind, they could be the best by far but they only film boring clones full of clothes and filmed in slow motion. There are movies where the girl barely move... 80% of their footage is a distant blowjob or the girl sucking the guy's nipples, and then in the remaining 20% they try to cram all the sex positions together, and each one lasts 2 minutes, you don't enjoy them.

KMP movies have no passion and don't try to contribute anything, they are just a routine to shoot one movie after another and flood the market with mediocre VR movies.

Are you using the japanese store? Did you know that there is a store in English? Anyway, to download use the Japanese store, some titles have more resolution and bitrate there. You can buy at one store, and download from both stores.

As you say, most of them for the price of a coffee, or less... They are almost free, and without DRM... But many people will continue to pirate even if they only cost a penny...

Taking a look at the list, I just discovered that there is some VR of the mythical Rei Mizuna !!!




It's very old, from 2016, so it will surely look bad, and it's from her last stage, weeks before retiring. But she's an actress I really liked, I think I'm going to buy it....

There are hundreds of VRs on the back pages of the sale list that are nowhere to be found, even though they are very old.

Whoa, that's a name that hasn't been heard in a while.

I've been picking up some vids of Shuri Atomi. Most of them aren't great in quality, but she was THE legendary loli before Matsumoto Ichika. Shuri retired shortly after Ichika rose up on the scene but there was a little overlap in their timelines which is why its a shame they never shot a scene together, or at least I don't think one exists. It would have been truly epic if that ever happened even if its not for VR.

Its a pity VR tech came up so late and we missed out on so many JAV legends shooting in 4K quality.

It has some titles, but most of them are old and with bad image quality. In the last ones, that look better, she had already had a nose job, and it is not the same.

Egads, I just spent ~7.5k JPY on VR JAV and that's dirt cheap considering how much content I picked up. I'll need a week to download them, maybe more...like a month? Just to download as the Afesta site is slow and tends to cut off the download partway without being able to resume so you need to restart - and they have a download volume cap by timeframe.

Regardless, I'm still not done with my shopping. Very likely will pick up more.

I just expanded my NAS yet I expect it'll be at capacity again pretty soon.

Remu has been knocked off the #1 VR spot by Arai Rima. She has nice fluffy breasts but I don't think she is anywhere near as pretty. Quite heavy on the makeup. I might pick this up anyway... we'll see...
