When did you start liking Japanese girls?

I like busty ladies, and Japan is one of my favorite cultures, so my interest is in those two together... not a terribly large subset of Japanese women in that group, but the porn studios can find them for me. :full:

I do have a close female friend who moved to the USA from Tokyo about 10 years ago, but she's married... :notice:

My first memory of Japanese women was watching the Miss Universe pageant with my parents many many decades ago...yes decades! I recall my father saying that Japanese women were the most beautiful women in the world when the Japanese contestant paraded down the runway. However, I grew up in a small rural town in a rural state of the US and never saw a Japanese woman in person until I was in a bar in Seattle WA called Tlaquepaque (spelling?) when I was 21 years old. I will always remember her. She was gorgeous and it was love at first sight. Of course, she did not feel quite the same way. Sigh!

I made a big post trying to explain it but it just seemed embarrassing, racist and pathetic.
I'll just say that it's because it seems unattainable and forbidden as a Westerner.
 
The cliched answer: When I got into anime, then into Japanese culture...

Of course, as my name suggests, I'm more into Chinese or Taiwanese girls....but there is a Japanese girl at my school who caught my eye...(although, she unfortunately has a boyfriend in Japan).

On the other hand, I think Korean girls are some of the hottest Asian girls around; so, I guess I technically like Asian women...lol...but I still have my focus of Chinese and Taiwanese girls.

well - a lot of guys are saying around aged 12. hhmmmm. right about when we're entering puberty and noticing girls at all.

so here's my story. when i was 12 (surprised?) there was this 15 year old japanese girl who ran the cash register at a convenience store near my house. OMG i thought she was sooo pretty. i went there everyday and we chatted a bit and formed a casual friendship, but i never could get her to go out with me. most certainly part of the problem was cultural. though she was growing up in america her parents were old style japanese and probably would have locked her in her room for years if they ever thought that she liked any guy. maybe it was the age difference too but i never sensed that. also part of the problem was simply that she was asian in a country and at a time (early 70's) when being asian wasn't very cool (unless you were Bruce Lee). we were just beginning to resolve our black/white issues, and it seems people just need to dislike someone so that would be the asians.

anyway i digress. from the time i ever had any interest in girls at all i liked asians. and sorry for some of you but the beautiful asian i am married to is also taken - LOL

I actually started liking them since i was in grade 1 when i met some JP twins.
dunno if it was because they looked different or what... but since then xD thats really all thats been attractive lol
 
So i see it's more of an asian thing rather than a japanese thing, interesting. I guess I'm one of the few at akiba-online--ironically.
 
Me it was more of a love at first bite. My teacher in kindergarten was Japanese and she would cook treats on Friday if we had been good all week.

any-one know what the word gekisha means?
