The tracker (http://www.akiba-online.com:2710/announce) has been taken down for now, but will be back ASAP.

DHT and other trackers in torrents will still work, and the tracker has been temperamental lately anyway, so this won't really affect anyone that much, but it's still worth mentioning.

Thanks for the info.

But I have a dumb question; Since this site does not have a ratio requirement, why does it matter if the tracker is working or not, since it seems data is going out or comming in even if the tracker is not tracking??

Sorry, like I said, I know this is a dumb question.:innocence:

The tracker never kept statistics, it was just yet another open tracker. And you're basically right.

There are still tons and tons of open trackers.

Torrents with multiple trackers aren't much effected, but most of the torrents I have with it as the only tracker have died. I think most people just give-up in that case.
