Well, for me,
I know i choose the movie based on the actress,
but, sometimes even when the actress is so hot, but if I dislike the guy performance,
I always hesitate to watch it,
But i got a suggestion, why don't we make An Appreciation Thread for An Actor,
then fill it with INFORMATION of all movies starred by that Actor,

That is pretty much impossible. Since it's hard finding the guys names already, it be even more harder to find there information, and movies they've starred in. We can probably figure out basic information, but the movies that'll take forever since they've done so many films, remember they say there are only about 100 male Jav actors, with hundreds of girls coming in and out each year.
Well, not everyone, just pick some of with the big GUN.
Why? Japanese Woman tend to cum easily with that kind of man.

"Why do jav movies try to hide the man's face so many times?" I actually appreciate when the man's face is turned away on the covers, Robbus; such practice accentuates where the attraction really lies. But I don't appreciate it when the men's faces are digitally blurred. I once posed this question ("JAV Questions.... Three!") and a knowledgeable party explained this was a way to protect the men's reputations in real life. (Insinuating that the pay received as actors was not enough for the men to let it all hang out.)
I thought, yeah, well then what about the women's reputations, which would be more important, given that sexual women are frowned upon in societies? Besides, there are many times I've noticed recognizable male actors behind the blurs. My theory was that the blurring of the faces is a disingenuous attempt to put one over on the viewer, that the filming was done on-the-sly, and the goings-on are "real." (Which would not explain why the women's faces are also not blurred.)

I don't think that's him; however, one never knows. The jury's still out, but the guy behind that photograph is Ôji Hoshino (星野王子)
Mr. Hoshino's page is sparse with information, and the most fitting part of it is that there is no idea about his age. If indeed the Un-Juvenile Delinquent, knowing his real age would be a bubble-burster.
The filmographies of this Warashi Asian Pornstars Database site are a joke. Yet, for their listing of male JAV performers, this is a very rare and beneficial resource. Many thanks to that JAV stalwart, Gentleman Codegeek.

I think the blood type thing is a typical Japanese thing. I've seen it listed for the actresses too when they list stats as hair color, eye color measurements... I think it's like how many people in the west think astrological signs are important.

I am still hoping to confirm the identity of the Un-Juvenile Delinquent, and stumbled onto a clue while preparing an addition for "Stream DOWNLOADS." A movie being highlighted was SPRD-448 ("Rent For the Wife- No End to Demands"), and there was an uncommon listing of credits for the male actors within the title sequence, in English.
One of the actors featured in the movie was the irrepressible Un-J.D. (here appearing with the film's star, Maya Hara):
And the other was for this familiar face:
The names: Daisuke Yokoyama, Tomohiro Abe
So if I could find one, by the process of elimination, the other would have to be the Un-Juvenile Delinquent, since there are two male actors in this movie.
I threw both names into Google; nothing came up for the first name, but I noted Tomohiro Abe coming up in a movie called:
Blonde Teacher Creampie Fuck 2 [PTK-008], also starring Bree Olson, Kylee Reese, Amber Rayne and Christine Alexis
I couldn't find good enough screen shots, and whatever I did find didn't accent the male faces, of course... which is normally a good thing!

I don't want to tell you how long I spent trying to extract some clear shots of the male actors right off the streams, but here's what I came up with... combined with the screen shots I did find:

Pretty weird how the hunt for things work out. I was on a quest to confirm the Un-Juvenile Delinquent's identity (where the jury is still out), and we wound up with IDs for two other JAV actors. (Of the two, I don't recall seeing Masato Palpable in a JAV, have you? He's tall and handsome, and he would have stuck out.)

I've been spending some time today fine-tuning this thread, because the actor names are all over the place. While I'm laboring, I wanted to give a limited round-up of loose ends that have been on my mind.
I don't have the time now to dig up the best shots of some of these actors, and instead will resort to recycling shots already around... sorry 'bout that.
Looking around in Nick Wells' "Other Performers" thread, I don't even recognize many of the faces that were put up. I'll be concentrating on the ones that have made an impression on me.
From that thread is this very familiar face:
Member Zen10101 pegged him as the "Pacino of JAV"; I suppose that is because the actor is tough, and emits a simmering intensity. Below, he plays the villain tormenting Ito Azusa in r*** Heroine Insult [GXXD-99]:
This Tough Guy calls for an identification.

Member Zen10101 pegged him as the "Pacino of JAV"; I suppose that is because the actor is tough, and emits a simmering intensity. Below, he plays the villain tormenting Ito Azusa in r*** Heroine Insult [GXXD-99]:

The ID for this one is GPTM-18. Perhaps I'm just delusional, but it seems the facial traits match, don't they?
I liked the guy well enough in his scene, even though these superhero things tend to be hilariously ridiculous throughout... the choreography of the fighting scenes at the beginning of GPTM-18 is deserving of an Oscar of Terribleness. Anyway, this JAV was still fun for me for a reason... I'll let you guess the obvious reason why, haha.

Aside from a male performer playing the bit part of the negligent husband, the two main actors in the movie are these guys:
As you can see, one of them is the Un-Juvenile Delinquent. The "Yokoyama-kun" name must belong to him, based on our previous finding from a few posts up, where the name of "Daisuke Yokoyama" was provided in the credit sequence of another TAKARA VISUAL movie.
So we are getting a bit closer in pinning him down, for good.

Grotesque Guy is, without question, one of the most amazing JAV actors in the business. He carved his niche in the world of Japanese smut when producers went about trying to cast actors for the "Grotesque Men" genre, the films of which he has appeared in almost every one. They struck gold with good old Grotesque Guy.

Making a record. Ran into the rare JAV crediting the male actors in the cast, JAV being "Miss Campus Will Be Deceived & Trained To Become Slave Meat" [APAR-048], starring Natsume Inagawa.
One of the male actors was the wondrous Tenant.
His name was listed as Jit Hanaoka, the first name spelled differently than the usual "Jitta."
There were two more actors named:
Gaichi Okouno
Jinsei Hayasaka
I did not recognize either of them, so ... I don't really care about 'em. But, as I said... making a record.

Who's who? You got me. Running a search for these names netted one result, an article about the impossibly old actor, Shigeo Tokuda. (Described as a "prolific artiste.") A Gaichi Kono (note different spelling) is quoted, and he is described as a "film producer," and also as having "acted in about 1,300 adult films." Since Gaichi has been around the block, my money is on the older and less hairy man as being Gaichi.
EDIT: Gaichi Kono's limited filmography, and its translation.

When I put the name from the filmography page into Google Translator, I got "Gaichi Kono." Perhaps the one from the article was him. The actor here is somebody else, and all we know about him is his screen credit of "Gaichi Okouno."

So who is this guy? His warped onscreen credit in English is too close to the name of "Don Mahler."

I don't know, maybe that's someone else. But if it is him, the movie featured ending screen credits, so let me post them... in the hopes that one day we will have pinned "Gaichi Okouno" down. In order:

Mushman ( 日比野達郎 ) was also in the cast; he is Credit No. 7. So our guy is probably either of No. 2,3,4,5,6 or 8.

What a great character Froggy is! I hope I'm not mistaken, but I believe he's the one I kept seeing in Nampa movies, where he would be the least likely candidate to seduce women off the street... but I don't have the time now to dig up pictorial reference from those films I believe I know him from. I ran into him in a rare acting role from Violated Workplace Idol [RBD-513] (where he plays a sleazy boss, and does a great job at it), and am slapping together a spur-of-the-moment post while he is fresh on my mind.
With his big eyes spaced widely apart, Froggy reminds me a little of the great Peter Lorre.
