Server "forgets" my uploads

After uploading 5 pictures the attachment window often turns blank and is not "refreshed" for the next 5 files. The uploaded files are lost, not attached to the post. Reloading the attachment window doesn't help, just no reaction from the server.
Only solution is to upload the pictures a second time and hope for more luck.

I had the same problem some times, but with different result. When it went blank, I reloaded the attachment window, wait for a moment, and the files were uploaded successfully.

It's not browser related, I tried opera and firefox, both the latest and the previous versions.
It just happened again with my first post, I did what ryuuga wrote and waited for the attachment window to refresh, it took it's time but worked. Maybe I'm just too impatient when there is a lot of traffic.
