Registered and logged in but keep getting "do not have permission" page??

Hi all, as mentionned, I log in but am restricted when trying to open torrents or most pages. I've been able to join groups and view pics on members pages but am mostly not permitted most actions. I tried registering a new account, changed my email from a hotmail account to rocketmail when told hotmail doesn't accept emails from this site. receive a new email to my rocket account... Would anyone be able to help me remove (or remove for me) any restrictions placed on my account? I was told on IRC that changes have been made over the past weeks and wonder if these have somehow affected my account. I don't know what else to try and would truly appreciate getting access to all of the site and it's treasures :>))
